I’m new on rover but have extensive experience with pet care in the state of Maine and Florida. I look forward to offering services here in Windham I took an early retirement so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I like to stay busy and find pet care very rewarding. About: I genuinely love cats and dogs and I would own more if I could! I currently have two cats (Han and Solo) and a dog named Ollie. I understand different animals have different needs and routines. Here to help look after your animals for dog walks, drop in visits, potty breaks, babysitting! I currently work from home and can be fairly flexible and available for your pets needs. I can do early mornings, evenings and drop ins/walks during the day. As I have animals at home it will be best if I look after your pets in their own home. I walk my dog often and he loves other dogs so we would be happy to add another to our daily walk!

About: I have had Labrador retrievers my whole life! And, 2 years ago fostered my cousin’s English bulldog for 6 months, while she was moving to ME! Friends and family ask me to watch their pups first, because they know I treat them like my own!! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! Our 3 boys are my children. Once we wake up we head right outside, then we do breakfast, rest for a moment or two after eating, and then back outside for walks or play time! We also love car rides, cuddles, hiking, etc! Dogs that come to stay with us just fall right into our routines. Dogs are awesome, and deserve to be treated as such! We have 18 acres in Buxton! Perfect for dogs to play, and enjoy time outside. In our home pets are like family! They are welcome on furniture to get comfy.

“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! I also appreciated getting text and picture updates of how Fern was doing throughout the day. I would definitely reach out to Cody and Cassidy again for dog sitting when we are in the area.”

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

“We are so grateful we found Craig to dog sit for our puppy Enzo. Enzo is a highly energetic dog who takes some time to warm up to strangers, however, he took no time to adjust to Craig. Craig kept us updated through out the day with pictures and videos. We could tell right away that Enzo was having an awesome time. When we picked up Enzo he was tired (from all the fun he had with Penny) and overall just calm and happy. We highly recommend Craig for doggy care!”
