About: Pets have always been a big part of my life, gaining responsibility with them as I grew up. I have two family dogs currently: a 14-year-old medium-sized rescue mutt and a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog that I love and cherish! I also have one cat. I have helped in caring for and training them for quite a few years. I am used to following feeding schedules and I love a good dog walk. I have basic training skills and also have experience dealing with minor behavioral issues. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.
About: I have had Labrador retrievers my whole life! And, 2 years ago fostered my cousin’s English bulldog for 6 months, while she was moving to ME! Friends and family ask me to watch their pups first, because they know I treat them like my own!! Pet care is a big part of my daily routine! Our 3 boys are my children. Once we wake up we head right outside, then we do breakfast, rest for a moment or two after eating, and then back outside for walks or play time! We also love car rides, cuddles, hiking, etc! My parents started their own dog daycare, lodging, grooming and training center that will be 15 years in business this summer. For over a decade I spent my school breaks and many weekends helping out will all things dogs so I have quite a bit of experience including training! I also have my own pup, Nova! I am in a full time graduate program so my availability may change week-to-week but I will be available for a few hours each weekend day at the very least! About: I’ve fostered over 50 puppies and have two dogs of my own. I have a BS in Animal Health and Behavior. I would be happy to help you care for your animals as my own.
