“Nicolette was professional, attentive and a great dog sitter taking them on sniffventures, walks, dog parks, ect. Our pet had such a great time making new friends he didn't want to leave when we came to pick him up. We'll definitely be doing business with Nicolette in the future! Thank you so much Nicolette for being exactly what we and Odin wanted/needed, you're the best:)”

“Rebecca was a great fit for our dog Roxy! Roxy doesn’t like to be left alone and loves to go on walks so Rebecca was a perfect choice for a pet sitter. Roxy also loved playing with her dog Congo! We also loved the pictures and videos she sent while we were away.”

“They were so fabulous!!! Watched my girl Winnie on my wedding night. They picked her up, dropped her off and were super flexible on what was a crazy day. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Audrey was absolutely sensational and caring for our dog while we were away for several days. We had never used her before and we feel like we really lucked out!! Our dog got daily hikes, great toppers on her regular dry food, special treats, and lots of time to roam and sniff + play with the other pups that Audrey was caring for. Thanks, Audrey, for your amazing care. We appreciate you so much and look forward to using you again!”

“I’m so happy we found Sergey at the last minute. My two dogs stayed with Sergey’s for six nights. They came home tired, happy, and clean. Sergey was extremely flexible with our timing when our travel was delayed. I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey as a pet sitter.”

“Kaitlin and her family were fantastic with the dogs! First, she accommodated a last minute booking when my original plan fell through and accepted with a weeks notice and I am forever grateful. It was clear the dogs were in good hands with multiple updates and pictures each day, I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing they were well taken care of. They even came home with handmade bandanas! I would definitely book with Kaitlyn again knowing my dogs also had a great vacation at her home. Thanks again!”

“Stacy's home was ideal for Olli. As much as Olli enjoyed being there with her pups and her family, Stacy equally enjoyed caring for our dog. She took him on to the trails, in her car on errands, and was flexible and accommodating to his roaming to various sleeping spots. We are visiting Maine for a few months and Stacy was a great find. Getting to her home in Raymond from Portland was a direct 30 minute trip.”

“Heidi was responsive, organized, and flexible with our changing schedule due to weather. Hank was well-cared for in our absence and we would definitely leave him with Heidi again.”

“Claudia and Jason were so thoughtful and communicative. Opie had an excellent week with them and they sent me pictures and updates regularly. I will book with them again!”

“Jessica is fantastic. She was so good with our two pups for an overnight stay! She sent the best pictures, played with our pups with her children, and gave them a great place to stay for the night. Would highly recommend Jessica; and we will definitely not hesitate to send our dogs to her again!”

“I will definitely reach out to Christina for any care for my pup. Her communication and attention to my dog was unmatched and I’m sure my dog will be excited to see her again!”

“Louise is so happy getting out of the car at Elisabeth’s. She is so well cared for and Elisabeth always sends updates of what she’s up to and how much fun she’s having. So grateful to Elisabeth and highly recommend her and her sweet dogs!!”

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Later, after meeting my husband, who had a dog, I discovered how much joy dogs bring and how different, fun, and rewarding it is to spend time with them. Now that my own children are older and more independent, I finally have some time to do something I’ve wanted for a while: care for other people’s dogs. Spending time with animals truly makes me happy, and I would love to give your dog the same love, attention, and care that I would give my own. I’ve looked after dogs in my home and understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs love long walks and playtime, while others just want a quiet companion nearby. I’ll happily follow your dog’s routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. What really sets me apart is how much I genuinely care. I pay close attention to the little details, carefully follow your instructions, and treat every pet like family. I’ll also send regular photos and updates, so you’ll always know your furry friend is happy and well cared for. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to care for your pet. I’m available for afternoon walks during the week, as well as boarding. Your dog will have regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I always do my best to follow your pet’s usual schedule, so they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. My home is a safe, pet-friendly environment where dogs are treated like part of the family. They will have plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and a cozy place to rest. . My children are older. They’re gentle and respectful, and they’ll happily play with your dog if that’s something your dog enjoys. I’ll also send regular photo updates, so you’ll always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Kymberly and Robert are excellent dog sitters. We felt absolutely confident and comfortable that our dog was in good hands from the moment we dropped her off with Kymberly and Robert. They posted regular updates and were attentive in every way. It’s clear that they have a love of dogs and shared that love with our pup. I highly recommend them for your dog needs!”

“Amazing family with great kids who love animals! We are well updated with photos for our dog. Cassidy gave great assurance on the 2D1N boarding. Already arranged for the next boarding period!”

“Marna and family took excellent care of Gus. Daily updates were provided and prompt/detailed communication about drop off/pick up made a quick getaway stress free. He was a part of the family and was a happy, tired boy when he came home. We’ve already booked our next stay!”

“Alicia abs her wonderful children and husband could not have been more lovely, kind, accommodating, and thoughtful! We are so very grateful. Our pup, Gertie, has never bonded better with a family in a short time. We even got such sweet pictures during her stay. Definitely book with Alicia if you can! What a positive experience. Much appreciation!!”

“Our dog, Maggie was happy with Abigail and Neil. They sent a few photos. She has a lot of energy and I'm sure she kept their dog, Molly busy. I appreciate them allowing Maggie to roam free in their home and on furniture.”

“Molly was amazing! She took great care of our pup, sending lots of pics and keeping us updated along the way. Vargas came home happy and tired - exactly what we needed :)”

About: I was raised with cats, and can't imagine the farm I grew up on without them. I've sat for a range of kitties of all ages and personalities. I would love to snuggle with a kitty, but am also respectful of non-cuddly friends. I'm the person who talks to animals before people when I enter a home... My cat/fur-sibling is named Sirius Black because she is so dog-like.

“Zaynah was wonderful! She stayed at our home with our anxious cat on short notice, and took great care of him. He was on a pill medication, a liquid medication, and had a special suit to wear and she did it all. Our home and our cat were in great hands with her!”

“I could not be happier with Cheyanne’s loving care of Leo the cat. He clearly took to her right away, which is impressive, as he usually takes a while. In addition to taking care of his needs, she spent time hanging out with him, playing, brushing, etc. It’s obvious that she has a real way with animals and loves caring for them. So glad to have found her!”

“Stacy was fantastic. She took care of our cat for a long weekend at the last minute. Our cat is hides for practically everyone who comes to the house, but Stacy managed to tempt her out of hiding with a squeeze up treat. She sent us some awesome pictures and we were so excited to see our cat being friendly with her! We will definitely use Stacy again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Amanda was great. She did a meet and greet which was great. She communicated when she visited our kitty and provided pictures and a video. We would definitely use Amanda again.”

“Brianna was an amazing sitter for our cats! We received detailed reports each day of the time spent with our cats. We will absolutely be booking Brianna again based on professionalism and care for our cats.”

“Miranda was on time and very conscientious providing detailed updates on our dog and lots of photos that we loved! We felt at ease knowing she would be in good hands with Miranda. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: FYI my priority is short or extended house/pet sitting - I have literally been around dogs my entire life. I've had them since the day I was born and would love to be able to take care of them while I can't own one in my current home. I also have experience working for a veterinary clinic taking care of boarded dogs; feeding, walking, bathing, and just hanging out with them! I work in fitness so I LOVE the outdoors, long walks, going for runs, and fresh air. I also have a super flexible schedule that makes me open to all different types of sitting situations! Currently have open availability to travel and stay as needed. Looking to fill my schedule so am open to showing up on short notice if needed. I take care of others’ pets as if they are my own. Lots of quality time, especially outside. If they like the car then it’s lot of field trips if the owner is okay with that. It’s always about what the pet owner prefers.

“This was the first time I have been away from my pets for an extended period of time. Nicole was great, very reassuring, and I was so thrilled to see her daily pictures. Even it was me. My cat was hissing at her.🤣 I highly recommend her for pet sitting”

About: With 30 years of experience, previous dog training, your pup, senior, any age dog is in caring and attentive hands. I interact, play, talk and walk your pet. They have my attention 24/7 full time. I don't split my attention with work from home job so your loved one has literally 24/7 attention! Let's meet or chat and say HI ! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

“Rebeca was very engaged with Thorin and was flexible with scheduling to accommodate our plans for the day. We could tell that Thorin had a good time because he was all tuckered out when we picked him up. We would definitely ask Rebecca to sit for Thorin again.”

“I couldn’t recommend Stacy more. She took good care of Olive and I felt confident leaving her for the day. Olive was well exercised and she enjoyed making new friends with Stacy’s dogs. I will definitely come back!!”

“Audrey watched our 3 month old puppy for the day and was absolutely wonderful! She sent us pictures and videos to show us how much fun he was having! He came home so happy and exhausted from all his playtime!! I would definitely recommend Audrey to anyone looking for a loving pet sitter in a safe home environment!”

“Jennifer was outstanding! She immediately put both me and my dog at ease. I absolutely would encourage folks to consider using her for their pet care needs. Great communication and a nice spotless environment.”

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.
About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, two friendly (albeit loud) dogs, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 4 – 16) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. My husband and I both work from home during the week, with the occasional in-office day, so my home offers constant companionship for our guests. Someone is always home and guests are never left unattended. A few things that set my care apart: - Experience with crate training/trained dogs. I can offer support in your training journey if it is something you are working on with your dog. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. I also have long leads (60ft) for outdoor play on our property. - Daily photo updates of your pet(s) if desired. - Experience with dogs of all ages. - If your pet prefers a calmer environment, my at-home work space provides a reprieve from the rest of the house while maintaining companionship. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. I can typically accommodate emergency requests, though Fridays can be tricky with my in-office work rotation. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and love all animals, barnyard or otherwise. I can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. Please contact me to discuss alternative means of scheduling if this may interest you or you know someone looking for a short term homestead sitter. Your pet will always feel loved, safe, and comfortable while in my care. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday, with the occasional in-office day, and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. Your pet will never be left unattended for more than an hour or two, and crating them is an option if necessary. No dog is left unleased when outdoors; leashes and long lines are used for outdoor walks/play time. Guests are never left unattended and playtime is always supervised between our dogs and guests. Boarding guests are treated as family while staying with us and all areas of our home are open to them.
“We left our sweet Bichon with Cassidy while attending a wedding nearby. We received a pic of him during the wedding and felt reassured. We picked him up to find him in fine form, having played and cuddled like he does at home. Recommend.”

“Marna is just wonderful with our little dog. Marna is conscientious and kind . She is great at keeping us updated with posts and pictures. We highly recommend her.”

“Eliot was very good to my pup! She took her on several walks throughout the day, sent me photo updates and I’m just so thrilled she got social time with other doggos. She is in a deep slumber!”

About: 35 years of experience caring for dogs, puppies, kittens & cats. I’m good with anxious dogs & scaredy cats. I have a flexible schedule, let me know how I can help. I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.
About: I love animals and will take extra special care of them. I can provide a safe and loving environment for your precious pets. I’m new on rover but have extensive experience with pet care in the state of Maine and Florida. I look forward to offering services here in Windham I took an early retirement so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I like to stay busy and find pet care very rewarding. I could do drop in for walks and play time or overnights in my home. I love having pets around and feel that I can provide a safe area.
“Lindsay is fantastic. She has been a lifesaver with our new pup. He always comes home happy and tired, and Lindsay always gives great updates so I know exactly how our pup has been throughout the day. I couldn’t recommend her more.”

“i would definitely book simon again! he was lovely and very accommodating. he gave a thorough report when i picked up my pet who came home calm and taken care of. i was also impressed by his own lovely, and nicely trained dog. that says a lot!”

About: I grew up dogs from the time I was little- labs, retrievers, shepherds- and had a special needs rescue dog with my partner for many years who lived to be fifteen. When she passed, my partner and I started boarding and house sitting regularly and have built up a pretty cute little pack. I am comfortable giving oral medication and upholding your dog’s schedule, house rules, and love to take field trips whenever possible. My favorite is when a dog can come with me everywhere, so smaller senior pups have become my specialty, but I can’t help but love all the dogs who come along. As a videographer and Maine youth basketball coach I have a lot of flexibility in my work schedule and spend a lot of time working from home editing videos. I’m fairly active, always happy to take breaks from work to walk around the neighborhood or find a pet-friendly beach to run around on. I’m in an apartment very close to Deering Oaks Park and the Western Prom. The apartment is a compact second story walk up and has been carefully maintained to keep it safe for curious noses.
“Our dog Ollie has been going to Chelsea’s for a few months now and it is the best thing we could have done for him. He loves daycare days and it tires him out for the rest of the week!”

About: Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. Send me a message so we can discuss what your critter needs. New-ish to Rover. Previously, all my clients were by word of mouth in extreme southern Maine and New Hampshire. We recently moved, and I decided it was time to join Rover. My schedule is variable, so just message me so we can discuss what your critter needs. This summer I have lots of availability. Thank you! I am currently not taking client's pets into my own home. I am open to a variety of conditions for home visits/walks/play dates/check-ins. Just send me a message so we can discuss your set up and what your critter needs.
“Stacey is great! We have two dogs, and one of them is super anxious and barks alot when meeting strangers. Stacey went the extra mile to meet our anxious pup before the first scheduled visit. She is super detail oriented and considerate and i highly recommend working with her!”

About: I've always had a love for animals, and being able to care for them is something I genuinely enjoy. As someone who works in the medical field, I understand the importance of trust, attention to detail, and treating every family member with compassion—including the four-legged ones! For the past two years, I worked for a luxury dog walking and pet sitting company in Washington, D.C., where I cared for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, personalities, and temperaments. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a shy rescue, a reactive dog, or a sweet senior who needs a little extra patience, I'm happy to meet them where they are. Every pet is different, and I love taking the time to earn their trust and learn what makes them feel comfortable. I'm also comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. Because of my background in the medical field, I feel confident administering oral medications, eye drops, and ear medications for both dogs and cats. If your pet has a special routine or requires extra attention, you can trust that they'll be in great hands. Communication is incredibly important to me. For each visit or stay, I'll send detailed updates and plenty of photos! My goal is for you to enjoy your time away without worrying. I also have experience walking up to five dogs at once and am comfortable with everything from leash training to energetic pullers and leisurely senior strolls. No matter your pet's age, personality, or needs, I'll treat them with the same love, patience, and care that I would my own. If I'm staying in your home, I'll care for it with the same respect and attention that I would my own. I'm happy to bring in mail and packages, water plants, keep things clean and tidy, and make sure your home feels just as you left it. My goal is for you to return to a happy pet, a well-cared-for home, and complete peace of mind. I'm currently working part-time while completing my remaining prerequisite courses as I apply to Physician Assistant programs, which gives me a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet's needs. Whether your furry one needs regular walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or a little extra attention, I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits. Clear communication is important to me, and I'll always be upfront about my availability so you can feel confident your pet is receiving the care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client's home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I know that pets are happiest when they can stay in a familiar environment, so I take the time to learn their daily schedule, favorite activities, feeding routine, and any special instructions before you leave. I am certified through Red Cross for Cat and Dog First Aid as well. Whether we're going on walks, playing fetch, enjoying cuddle time on the couch, or simply keeping each other company, I make sure every pet receives plenty of love, attention, exercise, and enrichment based on their individual needs. If your pet requires medications or extra care, I'm comfortable following detailed medical routines and will always keep you updated. I also believe caring for your pet means caring for your home. If I'm house sitting, I'll treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean and tidy, bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, taking out the trash if needed, and making sure everything is secure while you're away. After each visit, I'll send detailed updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in good hands. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet, a well-cared-for home, and complete peace of mind.
“Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life from senior cats/dogs to kittens/puppies. I have three cats of my own and two family dogs. I treat every animal like I would my own. I’m currently on summer break from my paraprofessional position. With that, I have a lot of extra time on my hands that I would love to fill with sweet and adorable pets. I follow plans and instructions that have been provided to me meticulously and with great care. I unfortunately have two cats at home that are not fond of other pets staying over. Due to my cats preferences I will keep my cat at the clients home or outside.

“Nicolette has been enormously helpful with our energetic pup. She took him on highly engaging woods walks, leaving him happy and calm each time she brought him back. It is abundantly clear Nicolette loves and takes great care in her interactions with animals, and we feel lucky to have found her as a dog walker whom we have every intention of reaching out to for ongoing help/care of our dog.”

“Jeffrey is a very responsive, reliable, and friendly dog caretaker. We have had him as our dog walker for a while now and he does a great job with our dog. He has great communication as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone else. Thanks Jeff!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. I love spoiling my own pup so yours are gonna be spoiled just as much! Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates wether they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.
“Tonya did a great job of communicating with us , and treated Nala like her own. Book with her for a smooth and easy transition for your pet. We will definitely use her again !”

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I am studying for a board exam and working part time. My part time job is flexible, allowing Sat, Sun,Mon, Wed and Fri to have open availability. I am more likely to commit to requests that are received a few days to a week prior. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 8 year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. Currently work part time so I have plenty of time for your pup/animal! I am very flexible and will do my best to accommodate yours and your animals needs Will love on your pet like my own ! It truly is fun to spend time with different animals and if I could have more than 1 dog I would personally!
About: Hi! I’m an experienced, dependable animal lover who understands that your pets are family. My goal is to provide exceptional care while giving you complete peace of mind whenever you’re away. I have years of hands-on experience caring for pets and have worked alongside my sister in her successful pet sitting business, which has proudly served the Greater Portland area for over 15 years. Through that experience, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can truly trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, plenty of attention, and lots of belly rubs (if they approve!). Whether your pet needs a midday walk, drop-in visits, overnight care, or extra companionship while you’re away, I’m committed to keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. You can expect reliable communication, photo updates, and careful attention to any special instructions, medications, feeding schedules, or routines. I take pride in being dependable, detail-oriented, and making both pets and their owners feel comfortable. To ensure everyone is a great fit, I require a meet-and-greet before all new bookings. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, answer any questions, and help your pet feel comfortable before our first visit. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member and provide the loving care they deserve! I work full-time during the weekdays, but pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits, as well as overnight stays depending on my schedule. I strive to be flexible and will always communicate clearly about my availability. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care that fits your pet’s routine and gives you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I treat every home with the utmost respect and every pet as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular updates and photos during each visit, so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing. I also require a meet-and-greet before new bookings to ensure we’re a great fit and to help your pet feel comfortable before our first visit.
About: ☀️Visiting the lakes region for the summer? Enjoy your day on the boat or a nice dinner without worrying about your pet! ☀️ Hi! My name is Ashley, I'm a psychology student at the University of New England in Maine. I am a life long animal lover and I have a passion for dogs! I have extensive experiencing caring for and training my own dog to be a service dog as well as caring for family and friends dogs. I strive to create a safe, fun, and loving environment for every animal I meet. I am comfortable with shy or nervous dogs (non aggressive) who need a little bit more patience and attention. In addition, I understand that every dog's personality is different, so I take the time to understand their personality, to make sure they feel comfortable and loved while in my care. No matter the pet, I treat each of them like my own. I am very flexible depending on you and your dog's needs. I ensure that every visit is thoughtfully scheduled to ensure your pet gets my full attention. ***Please note, I am unable to accommodate pets in my home, drive pets, or care for pets overnight When your pup is with me, it’s all tail wags, wiggle butts, and adventures, but safety always comes first. That way you can relax knowing your best friend is in loving hands. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality, energy level, and quirks. Communication is key, I’ll keep you updated with pup report cards and lot's of photos. All I ask of you is that if your pet requires a specific routine to please put it in writing so I can follow it correctly!

“I will definitely reach out to Christina for any care for my pup. Her communication and attention to my dog was unmatched and I’m sure my dog will be excited to see her again!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Sridevi truly loves animals and treats them like part of her own family. Her home is warm, clean, and perfectly set up for dogs to feel safe and comfortable. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Baxter came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for- honestly I think he had a little vacation of his own. I would absolutely recommend Sri to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kelly was awesome! My dog Luna has only been with a sitter a few times and this was the longest. Kelly let us do a meet and greet first which we appreciated. We felt very comfortable with Kelly and Luna did too. The regular updates and pictures while we were gone really helped ease our minds. Kelly took her for lots of walks, car rides and even up to the lake. I think Luna had a great time! We will definitely use Kelly again. Highly recommend!”

“Really appreciated working with Muriel H. Initially I was thinking Serge needed to be boarded and after discussions and meeting with Muriel we decided to go the home visit route instead. Worked out perfect, and I appreciated the photo updates and communications. Gave me much confidence in leaving a family member in the care of others. We now have a solid relationship with Muriel H. We intend on using her services as we move forward. Highly recommended.”

“Stout enjoyed his visit with Simon. He was flexible about us changing our plans too. He was able to add extra dates which helped us enormously. Thank you!!”
