About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! They have my attention 24/7 full time. I don't split my attention with work from home job so your loved one has literally 24/7 attention! Let's meet or chat and say HI ! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.

Amy was also kind enough to share pictures every day we were away, and she clearly communicated her availability and timing for each day in advance. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: I have been taking care of dogs big and small since I was 10 years old, as well as pet fish, hamsters, guinea pigs. I’ve always offered to help family friends neighbors take care of there’s as well wether it’s walking, bringing them on rides, feeding, bathing, or just giving lots of love to them while there owners are gone. I’ve also worked at a couple farms before so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals and a very big heart for every single one of them. I have a big vehicle so if they are ok in the car I can bring them to the lake, for a walk on one of the local trails, or just for a ride on a nice day. I love spoiling my own pup so yours are gonna be spoiled just as much! Most dogs I’ve been around have been put in crates wether they were being trained as a puppy or can’t be left out in the house alone so I know how to handle that if needed at any time. I make sure there water bowls are ALWAYS full and when to feed them. I clean up there messes if needed and try to keep things tidy even if they just take everything out again. I give them lots of pets and attention and learn there attitudes and personality as well as I can so I know them better and they can trust me.

“Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”
About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 8 year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. About: I had had cats for as long as I can remember, I have also had Guinea pigs and 45 chickens at one point in time I am currently a full time student at central Maine community college so my schedule carries, but I am always available after 2pm. I have modays and Fridays free and I am available most of the day on Wednesday I have 2 cats currently and my girlfriend has 2 dogs. I make sure that all of the animals in my life get plenty of play time and attention.

About: Heyyy! Want to know a little bit about me? I have a 3 year old crazy hound at home! I got her as a puppy and shes been my best friend ever since. We like to be outdoors frequently as shes got a lot of energy. I also have 2 lazy cats that I adore but they don't do too much. I have experience working in 3 different dog daycare facilities. Doing all things like boarding, group play, feeding/medications, and outdoor walks (sometimes in groups as well). For a short period of time while working at the daycare I had fostered a senior dog as well before she successfully got adopted!!! About: I moved to Maine from Vermont in 2019 and looking for new pets to sit! I've grown up with dogs my whole life - I'm definitely a dog person! I enjoy all types of dogs, big or small, the more energy the better! I can run with your dog, take them to the dog park to get some energy out, and keep them company while you're away. I'm a patient and easy-going guy, a personality that clicks well with most dogs! I've grown up with West Highland White Terriers, Rottweilers, and Labradors specifically, but I have experience with many breeds. I used to volunteer at the Greyhound Shelter in Saint Albans, VT when I went to school there! Dogs are like furry people to me with so much love to give. About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard.
