“My little Saga was a happy camper at Cindy’s during her very first time away from family, during an extended holiday stay. Saga seems to have adapted well, and befriended other dogs during her stay, which I got a glimpse of from the photos Cindy shared. Saga came home clean (Cindy gave her a bath the day before our reunion) and a little baggie of holiday treats. Thanks so much for taking such good care of Saga.”

“My big boy is so sensitive and so spoiled. We’ve never left him with anyone other than family. We had a family event and our floors were getting done so I explored Grover for this reason. I felt so nervous! But, I had nothing to worry about with Rebecca! She sent me pictures and reassurance throughout his stay. He had a blast! Thank you, Rebbecca! It was a wonderful experience for all of us! I can’t say enough, kind words to express how grateful we are…..”

“This was our second time booking with Cassidy family, and once again we’re so grateful she was able to accommodate a last-minute request! It gave us real peace of mind knowing Lucky was in good hands. She sent photo updates throughout the stay, which we really appreciated. Her dog and children were both incredibly sweet and gentle with Lucky — it’s clear they’re a dog-loving household. We’re confident Lucky was well cared for and would happily book with her again!”

“Jessica is fantastic. She was so good with our two pups for an overnight stay! She sent the best pictures, played with our pups with her children, and gave them a great place to stay for the night. Would highly recommend Jessica; and we will definitely not hesitate to send our dogs to her again!”

“Heidi watched my dog and my cat for 10 days. I never had to worry about them because she texted me every day and sent pics too! As soon as I got my pets in the car to take them home they both fell fast asleep! I could tell they had the best time. I will most definitely have Heidi watch my babies again!”

About: Hi, I'm Kaitlin! I've been caring for pets for 20+ years, for both my own pets and others. I currently have three dog-savvy indoor cats, 2 “house dogs”, and I treat every pet I care for like my own. I have children in my home (ages range from 16 – 4) who have all grown up with both cats and dogs and are well versed in respecting their personal space. I offer drop-ins to provide potty breaks, mid-day walks, house sitting for your cats, dog boarding in my home, and doggy daycare services. I work from home for the majority of the week, so my home offers constant companionship for those needing some support during the day or while their people are away. A few things that set my care apart: - Experience with crate training/trained dogs. I can offer support in that field if it is something you are working on with your dog. - While I do not currently have a fenced-in yard, I do live on a private dead-end road in a quiet neighborhood. We do not have heavy traffic and can walk for as long as necessary to tucker your pup out. - Daily photos of your pet for check-in purposes, or if they’re just being cute. - Experience with puppies and young dogs, as well as older dogs who may prefer a quieter environment. My home office space provides a calm space to spend the day with me individually. - Competitive rates and flexible scheduling. - Bonus: I also have experience with chickens and freshwater aquariums and can accommodate check-in visits to refresh water and feed as long as instructions are provided. Your pet will always feel loved, safe, and comfortable while in my care. My husband and I both currently work from home Monday through Friday and can provide constant supervision and attention to our guests. If your pet prefers a quiet environment as opposed to the hustle and bustle of family life, we do have the ability to provide quieter settings. As mentioned above, if your pet requires a crate to feel safe and secure, we have the experience and space to accommodate that. I do require that for overnight bookings, if your dog is crate trained, that you bring their crate with them. I love taking photos of my own pets, so if that offers peace of mind to our guests, I am more than happy to oblige. A meet and greet before a booking is preferred to ensure our dogs can get along. My dogs are both neutered/spayed and have not had any experiences with aggression towards other dogs. They do get excited, but quickly calm down once the initial introduction is over. Our dogs are not left unattended/uncrated with guests unless absolutely necessary. If we needed to leave the house quickly for whatever reason, you would be notified and your dog would come with us to remain under our supervision at all times. In-home visits and/or care- I am careful and aware of not letting pets outdoors unless explicitly told to do so. I have indoor only cats so I understand how important it is to check the cracks for sneaky paws and noses before opening doors. I will not wander around the home; it is strictly in to fill water and food, clean litter boxes, and spend a little time sitting on the kitchen floor to offer attention and pets (when the animal permits it). Your space is private and personal, and I am honored to have your trust in caring for your pets and your home.
“Audrey took great care of Apollo. We will definitely board Apollo with Audrey again. She was very experienced and had a good plan on how to introduce Apollo to her sweet little dog. She sent lots of pictures and updates! We were very happy and he ate all his meals so he felt very happy as well!”

“Mariah, Kyle and family took good care of our 10 yr. old Portuguese Water Dog during our week long family vacation. They treated him like he was part of the family and he enjoyed being around their dog and another one they were also boarding. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for playing and getting exercise. They were easy to communicate with and wonderful about giving regular updates and sending photos.”

“Christina took great care of our dog! She provided fantastic photos and updates so we felt at ease. It’s clear how much she loves animals; highly recommend and will use her again in the future.”

“Simon was so nice and welcoming, and my dogs seemed very happy. I got a bunch of pictures showing me how comfortable and at home my dogs felt from the first moment. We will certainly call Simon when we are in the area again!”

“Elisabeth was the absolute best! Lots of pictures and great communication- my doggo had the biggest smile in every picture and video. She was very gracious accommodating my last minute request and my doggo was so happy at pick up. We will definitely be booking again with her!”

“We were visiting from out of town and needed someone last minute. Marna was quick to respond and made us feel very comfortable leaving our pup with her. We even forgot to bring food and she kindly provided that as well. Highly recommend!”

“Lottie had a wonderful time with Anne! The house has a great backyard for Lottie to explore and she got along well with the other dogs. Anne is amazing in sending daily updates with lots of pictures. I will certainly go to Anne again for boarding Lottie.”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Sridevi truly loves animals and treats them like part of her own family. Her home is warm, clean, and perfectly set up for dogs to feel safe and comfortable. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Baxter came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for- honestly I think he had a little vacation of his own. I would absolutely recommend Sri to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I’m so happy we found Sergey at the last minute. My two dogs stayed with Sergey’s for six nights. They came home tired, happy, and clean. Sergey was extremely flexible with our timing when our travel was delayed. I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey as a pet sitter.”

“We had a last-minute out-of-town trip come together, and Khaila jumped in to help — she and her son were just lovely. Our pup, Rosie, is only 4 months old, and Khaila was gracious and patient with all of her puppy behavior. She sent photos of Rosie’s slumber party antics and was accommodating when we were running late for pickup.”

“Amanda was great. She did a meet and greet which was great. She communicated when she visited our kitty and provided pictures and a video. We would definitely use Amanda again.”

“Martha did a great job of looking after my cat Osiris while I was away for the holidays. She sent daily pictures as requested for my peace of mind, reached out promptly when there were any issues, and was very understanding and accommodating when my planned pickup time got a bit wobbly due to travel issues. Will definitely be booking again the next time I need a sitter.”

“Amy was personable and professional, and she kept in touch with photo updates when we were away. I believe our sweet kitty was well cared for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.”

“I could not be happier with Cheyanne’s loving care of Leo the cat. He clearly took to her right away, which is impressive, as he usually takes a while. In addition to taking care of his needs, she spent time hanging out with him, playing, brushing, etc. It’s obvious that she has a real way with animals and loves caring for them. So glad to have found her!”

About: With 30 years of experience, previous dog training, your pup, senior, any age dog is in caring and attentive hands. I interact, play, talk and walk your pet. They have my attention 24/7 full time. I don't split my attention with work from home job so your loved one has literally 24/7 attention! Let's meet or chat and say HI ! I have a small dog of my own, a little whipper snapper Klee Kai who is a retired service dog. But he respects older dogs too. I am a good pet human to those I am caring for. Your dog has safe and spacious areas to play and there are walking/snowmobile trails very close by where I take longer walks 3-4 times a day weather permitting and depending on your dog's energy level . I have had hens, rabbits, dogs, birds, farm animals and plenty of other critters over the years so am very accustomed to caring for animals on a daily basis. I have dog training experience. Your dog must be house trained, spayed or neutered and know basic commands,be non aggressive and leash trained and have topical flea/tick treatment and be up to date on all vaccinations. Unless you direct, I don't put pets in a crate though I do have 2 available if you prefer I use it at night. Your pet is with me 24/7 so has company and supervision. I have a fully fenced area but it's NOT SUITABLE if your dog digs under fences or can jump a 4' fence! I live walking distance to really nice hiking/snow mobile trails. I keep dogs on a leash at all times except in my fenced area where they can stretch and for bathroom and play. I adjust my routine to your pet. This is my full time passion. I'm not a kid filling in time and do this because I absolutely love having your pup! I take your dog on multiple walks every day. If I am taking care of your pet in your home, they get the same attention while I'm at your home, though I do prefer boarding at my home. I require owners permission to transport your dog in my vehicle to the hiking trails since I won't cross any busier roads with any pet on a leash. It's safer to drive to them a few minutes away. Your pets are NEVER EVER left unattended and alone in my vehicle. Dogs must come clean (no bad or strong smells), food dishes, adequate food for the time they are with me, a favorite toy (though I have a full box of clean toys) and vet info in advance. PLEASE NOTE, DOGGY DAY CARE is any 8 hour period until 5:30 PM daily. Prefer 8:30 AM arrival but earlier is definitely possible too. After 8 hrs, it's an additional $10 hr. This site doesn't let me customize schedules with time frames. This is full time for me. Pick up/drop off is between 8:30AM - 5:30 PM but can be earlier or later with advance notice. Extended hours are available with prior notice and additional fee of $15 hr. Doggie day care is between 8:30AM- 5:30 PM (8 hrs per session between those hours. Day care is no more than 8 hrs for the flat daily rate. Overnight rates are 24 hrs and $15 hr will be added after 24 hrs I have a fenced yard which pets are free to be in unleashed. My front deck is gated so pets can be outside under cover. Back deck is also enclosed into the pet area and has a roof.
“Hannah is the BEST!!! I had to be in and out of town for work for two weeks, although my schedule was not consistent at all Hannah was up for the last-minute challenge of watching over Maisey and adhering to my crazy schedule. Hannah showed up on time and spent her time with Maisey (a true senior citizen) giving her the love and attention I hoped for. Turns out I have another crazy week coming up and Hannah was quick to sign up for more visits. Hannah is a true 5 star!!!”

“Erin showed up for me last minute when my sitter canceled. She was so kind and professional and put me completely at ease (I was panicking!). This morning she sent me so many pictures of my fur-baby clearly enjoying himself. My cat immediately took to her, and I can tell she’s a real animal whisperer. I couldn’t have enjoyed my trip without her there caring for my babies. I hope I get to hire her again!”

About: Cat was my first word, so it’s safe to say cats have been a huge part of my life since I was a child! I have always had a special connection with cats and understand how much trust it takes to welcome someone into their home. My fiancé and I are proud pet parents to two cats of our own. When I am away, he takes care of them like the amazing cat dad he is, and I know how important it is to have someone reliable and loving care for your pets while you’re away. We also foster kittens on and off during the summer, giving us even more experience with different personalities, ages, and needs. With my veterinary technician background, I am comfortable providing medication, preparing healthy meals, monitoring for changes in behavior or health, deep cleaning litter boxes, and making sure your cat gets plenty of enrichment and playtime. Whether your cat is outgoing and playful or shy and needs extra patience, I will care for them like they are my own.

“It was a pleasure to have our whippet puppy Fern cared for by Cassidy and Cody while on vacation in Cape May. Cassidy and Cody were so laid back, relaxed and flexible when it came times and days we needed care for Fern. Fern was nervous at first meeting and staying with new friends Gus, (their dog) and their 2 children, but she was wagging her tail and so excited to go back to their house the following day! Fern got extra walks, and even went to the beach with them! We felt very comfortable leaving our baby In their care! I also appreciated getting text and picture updates of how Fern was doing throughout the day. I would definitely reach out to Cody and Cassidy again for dog sitting when we are in the area.”

“Briana accepted our Daisy on short notice and on a holiday weekend. Daisy had such a good day that I don't think she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up! I would highly recommend her services.”

About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.
“Eliot was very good to my pup! She took her on several walks throughout the day, sent me photo updates and I’m just so thrilled she got social time with other doggos. She is in a deep slumber!”

About: I have always had dogs but am currently without one after my 16-year-old golden retriever passed away. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages, and understand how their needs, routines and personalities change throughout their lives. I live in a quiet community with beach access a short walk away. If you have a pup that loves to swim, go on adventures or walks, or simply spend time outside, I would be a great fit. While your away, you can be sure they too are enjoying a mini vacation. I can work from home so your dog will not be lonely during the day. There are some days I may not be home all day, but I will be sure to give them plenty of exercise with time to run, play or swim in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I also have a life jacket for those dogs who are not strong swimmers or who may want a little extra support in the water. I've not crated any of my dogs, but if you are more comfortable with crating, I can accommodate that if you bring yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a small side yard, access to trails and a beach so they will get plenty of time outside.
“Vanessa is the first pet sitter we have tried since moving out of state and we feel very lucky we found her. She is very caring and loving and her house and yard are very well suited for safety and comfort. Both Princess and I felt comfortable after our meet and greet. Princess had an excellent day there with Vanessa and her pup Pepper who is a very sweet and good boy! I highly recommend Vanessa and will definitely be booking more stays with her!”

“Absolutely wonderful pet sitter. Marna was calm and patient with our little chihuahua, Miika. Miika was happy and relaxed when she was picked up. I highly recommend Marna and will definitely be using her services again.”

“Kate and John were incredible in looking after our black lab Pepper! We were visiting Conway from CT and needed a couple of days to visit area attractions with our kids. Their proximity to downtown Conway was perfect for us. Both days Kate and John were ready for us upon arrival and sent messages and pictures throughout the day. They even took Pepper on a nice long walk with their own dogs, which was super nice! I would highly recommend Kate and John if you need a sitter in the Conway,NH area.”

About: I grew up on a farm where I was surrounded by large animals like cattle and horses, which gave me a deep appreciation for working with animals from a young age. My passion for animal care led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent several years working in a large animal hospital. During this time, I gained extensive experience handling various animals, assisting in surgeries, administering medications, and providing routine care. I also have a 8 year-old German Shepherd named Nala. These experiences have strengthened my skills in animal health and care, and I truly enjoy working with animals of all sizes. Currently work part time so I have plenty of time for your pup/animal! I am very flexible and will do my best to accommodate yours and your animals needs Will love on your pet like my own ! It truly is fun to spend time with different animals and if I could have more than 1 dog I would personally!

About: Hiya! My name is Kristen, and I’m so excited to meet the pets and families of the Standish area! I have a unique background in animal care, with 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician and over a year working in a doggy daycare. I also spent the past 5 years pet sitting for clients from my veterinary hospital in South Portland, building trusted relationships with over 20 families. My veterinary background gives me extensive experience with medication administration, injections, senior pets, special needs animals, and recognizing when something may not be quite right. I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats, elderly pets, pets with medical needs, and a variety of animals including goats and chickens. Your pets’ safety and comfort will always be my top priority, and I will communicate quickly to you, and sometimes shoot a personal text to a veterinarian friend, if any concerns arise while you’re away. My love for animals extends far beyond cats and dogs! I’ve cared for all kinds of creatures, from scales and feathers to even blubber. I had the amazing opportunity to intern with Marine Mammals of Maine, where I helped rehabilitate Harbor Seals. I am also a proud pet mom to two cats of my own, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your animals. My fiancé and I recently moved to Standish, and I’m looking forward to bringing my years of animal care experience to families in this community. Whether your pet needs medication, extra patience, playtime, enrichment, or simply a little love while you’re away, I will treat them like they are my own and keep your mind at peace. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or not-so-furry) family members! I currently work full time at the Maine Medical Center as an x-ray tech, but I have most weekends off and a lot of week days off. I also can do visits daily. I prefer in-home sitting, which allows me to provide house sitting as well. I love being able to keep pets comfortable in their own environment where they feel safest, while maintaining their normal routines, feeding schedules, medications, and daily habits. I’m happy to help care for your home while you’re away by bringing in mail, keeping things tidy, and making sure everything is secure. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing both your pets and your home are being cared for while you’re gone.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I am studying for a board exam and working part time. My part time job is flexible, allowing Sat, Sun,Mon, Wed and Fri to have open availability. I am more likely to commit to requests that are received a few days to a week prior. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
“Eliot is now our go-to! She is fantastic - great communication, thoughtful text updates and photos for each walk, checks on our pup’s water and food levels when she stops in, and changes up the walking route each time she takes out our pup to keep him interested. Our dog is always happy and content after his walks with Eliot. We feel so lucky! Thank you Eliot!”

“Stacy was awesome! We felt very comfortable leaving our Harry with her. She stayed connected with us through multiple pictures and comments throughout each day of his stay. Her photos reassured us that Harry was happy and safe. Stacy cared for him as if he were her own. We would definitely use Stacy’s services again and would highly recommend her. Thank you Stacy!”
