About: I have 39 years of experience caring for animals. I have owned my home in Fitler Square for 15 years and have been running a cleaning company for the past 10 years. In addition to cleanings, I would care for their animals. Throughout my life, I've had: dogs, cats, parakeets, snakes, a hedgehog, a rabbit, and hamsters. I'm the first person my family and friends ask to care for their animals while they're away. I absolutely love and am passionate about dogs. I trained all three of my dogs from 8 weeks to their senior years. I'm also experienced at administering medication, which requires patience and assurance that they'll be ok. I'm excited for my visit with your dog. We'll take a walk to smell his/her favorite spots, go to one of the parks, play ball or with their favorite toy, and of course lots of pets and belly rubs. I will also feed and give fresh water, if needed. It makes me so happy when your dog is happy. I know how stressful it can be being away from your dog. Rest assured, I will care for your dog as if it were my own. I will ensure I'm respectful in your home, and messes are cleaned. If you would like me to do any additional work in your home, care for other animals, or clean, etc., please let me know. I look forward to meeting and taking care of your dog. This is my primary job. I'm available 6 am through 10 pm Monday through Sunday. I'm also available to house sit in your home or my home I will take good care of your dog/s and cat/s at your home/mine, feeding, brushing, playing, administering medication, changing litter, and bathing. If there's something else you would like to do, just ask.

Before even starting the job, he met us in a freezing blizzard for a simple meet + greet, which I think immediately showed his dedication to the job. He also cleaned up around our house when the dogs were making a mess, not something that we asked him to do — but rather something that he proactively did. One of our dogs, Honey, has anxiety. Duncan even stood overnight on New Years Eve just to help her stay calm during the fireworks, which I believe is something your average dog caretaker wouldn’t do! He was also very responsive with text and sent us updates every day. I felt much peace of mind because I knew Duncan was taking our two dogs on 2 walks every day, feeding them on time, and spending some time with them too. I would definitely recommend Duncan to a friend and would rebook him myself!”
