“Ellen is an outstanding petsitter. Her general care of my babies was wonderful, but she went above and beyond for all three. She was communicative, asked appropriate questions about their behavior, meds, wants, and needs. She handled meds and different feeding needs easily. Ellen was also ever so kind when I realized I had messed up my booking by an entire day and extended the stay for me (time zones 🙄). Most importantly: for the first time in my 20 years of travel, I had an animal fall ill (no fault of Ellen’s, he’s a cat with herpes that flared up in his little eye). She carefully monitored the situation and when his symptoms worsened a bit, she took him in for evaluation at my preferred vet. I know it must have been exhausting for her, but she genuinely handled this situation like he was her own cat. This could have been an immensely stressful situation for us both, but Ellen handled it with such compassion and kindness that I felt completely confident and experienced no distress. Given how strongly I love my pets, and how I worry for them, this was a huge surprise and relief for me.”

“Emily was an amazing sitter for Lizzy. She was super responsive, left me tons of adorable pictures of Lizzy, and was very flexible and willing to work around my chaotic schedule. 10/10 would book with Emily again in the future.”

“Rachel is a DREAM. She kept in touch the whole time and took such amazing care of Riff. It’s so hard to find sitters you can really trust, and I’m so glad I found someone who’s not only respectful but genuinely thoughtful with my pup. Truly couldn’t ask for better!”

“We are so glad to have booked Katlyn to care for our pets. She followed all our instructions exactly, spent quality time with both our cat and dog, and sent picture updates. It made our time away much more relaxing to know that our babies were in good hands.”

“Carrie was an amazing sitter. Attentive, communicative, and punctual. She went above and beyond to make sure my Bonnie was cared for the way I would take care of her. I will be rebooking with her for sure!”

“Makensi did a wonderful job caring for our dogs while we were away. When we got home, they were relaxed and not overly anxious, which tells me they felt comfortable and well cared for. She was also super flexible with last-minute time adjustments, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Elise is a wonderful, bubbly person and I felt super comfortable with her watching our two pups Feeny & Frannie. I’d definitely book her again.”

“Mina is a friendly, calm, and communicative sitter! We had a very pleasant meet and greet despite my dogs being pretty annoying and yappy at strangers. She took wonderful care of my two pups for a housesit for a day, and it was clear from the photos that they warmed up to her quickly! Would gladly have her back and recommend her to other dog parents.”

About: Hi, my name is Kristen. I am a recent graduate from West Chester University and have full availability for the summer. I have cared for dogs and cats since I was a teenager. I would pet sit for neighbors and friends. I've done visits or overnight stays to feed, play, and walk cats or dogs. I have watched more than one dog and cat a few times. I have more experience taking care of small dogs but would like to care for dogs of any size. I like to take dogs outside and give them good exercise by playing and walking. I love to give cats and dogs attention and play with toys. I also would like to bathe and groom them if need be. For the rest of the year, I will be working as a teacher and only be available for possible late afternoons and weekends. For the summer, I am available anytime during the week and on weekends. I care for pets in a client's home. I would do visits or overnight stay to walk dogs for at least 30 mins, depending on how many times a day. I change their food and water to feed them. I spend time with them by giving attention or playing with them. If caring for cats, I would clean and fill in a new litter too.
“Rowan was great once again! She stayed with our dogs for the weekend and did a great job with both of them. She was an excellent house guest as well! Looking forward to having Rowan watch our pups again :)”

“Stephanie was amazing with Birdie. She was incredibly responsive throughout the stay and easily took care of any difficulties that arose. We could tell that Birdie loved Stephanie by the end of the stay, which made us very happy. She was also very thoughtful and considerate staying in our apartment!”

“First time using Rover and let’s just say we hit the jackpot! My wife & I usually use a family friend when we are traveling so when our pet sitter wasn’t available, we looked into options on Rover. After viewing several profiles, Angela met the description we were looking for & fortunately enough, she was available to watch our furbabies! Angela was responsive throughout the entire booking process & even stopped by earlier to meet our dynamite duo! From the moment Angela arrived, she provided updates regularly with the cutest pictures and videos making us know how comfortable Natalie & Nico were in her care! We will definitely be using Angela again! She left our house exactly how we left it — we cannot THANK her enough!!”

“Stefan took amazing care of both our pup and our home. He is incredibly clean and tidy and sends many photos and updates. He even watered our plants and put our trash out. I felt so at ease on our trip knowing he was caring for things!”

“Leah was great with Coco during house sitting. She sent regular updates, made sure that Coco has his usual sleep- wake and eating schedule. I would definitely recommend using her services for your pet. Thanks Leah!!”

“Dan is a fantastic dogsitter. Our Lily adores him and I know she’s being taken care of while we’re away. She’s got issues with her back legs and Dan makes sure she gets her meds and isn’t overstimulated to cause her more injury. I 100% recommend him and will use him whenever we need a sitter and if he’s available. He’s very popular with the fur babies and gets booked accordingly so make sure to book in advance ;)”

“Rebecca watched our 10 yo pit bull for about 5 days over the holiday weekend and took wonderful care of our pup and our home! She managed our snuggly but sometimes anxious girl very well and was a good communicator. She stayed at our house and we welcomed her to use the kitchen and she left things very clean. Thank you Rebecca!”

“quanece and malik were amazing !! this is my first time hiring a rover and they were incredibly thorough, communicative, and easy to work with. i don't love leaving my animals but when i have to, they'll be the first people i reach out to :)”

“Evyn took a great care of my dogs and my house. She communicated often about daily activities and even handled a doggie stomachache responsibly. We will definitely ask her to take care of our pets again”

Briana was so good with Nori! I’m always nervous leaving Nori in someone else’s care because she can be reactive to strangers, but Briana was super understanding and so great with her! She sent lots of updates and Nori seemed like she had a great time with her.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care for Our Dogs and Cat! Rachel is an absolutely incredible pet sitter and we cannot recommend her highly enough! We left her with a detailed care routine for our two dogs and our cat, and she executed everything flawlessly in addition to communicating in a consistent and professional manner. She managed all of their specific needs perfectly, from administering morning medication to carefully weighing out kibble on the food scale to support my dog's weight loss journey and adding their specific daily supplements. She also kept up with their strict routine of four daily potty breaks at our rooftop dog park , always making sure they were safely geared up in their harnesses. Our cat was equally pampered with daily wet food and perfectly maintained litter boxes. Rachel even took the time to familiarize herself with our emergency evacuation plans , including locating our cat's carrier, which gave us immense peace of mind while we were away for the first time since owning all 3 of these animals. It is so clear that Rachel truly cares about the safety and well-being of the animals she watches. We returned to our apartment to find three very happy, relaxed pets who had clearly been given top-tier care during her stay. If you are looking for someone who will go above and beyond to treat your pets like her own, Rachel is the one!

Stella had an extended stay with our pup and she was so wonderful at making sure our baby felt comfortable while we were gone. It was our first time being away so we were understandably anxious about how Philomena would do but Stella sent us loads of updates, photos and videos. Our pup had a wonderful staycation all thanks to her!!!

Kaliah has been a great caretaker for my dog! Percy is an anxious guy (with separation anxiety, to boot), but Kaliah’s approach with animals is intuitive and he warmed up to her almost instantly. Kaliah was also very easy to work with, agreeing to do some trial walks before the house sitting so Percy could get used to her. I look forward to working with Kaliah again!

Gabe did a fantastic job watching over our pups on fairly short term notice! They gave us plenty of updates, clearly provided the dogs with ample care, attention, and play, and we came back to two very happy guys. They took great care of our house too. Would happily rebook!
