“Ellen is an outstanding petsitter. Her general care of my babies was wonderful, but she went above and beyond for all three. She was communicative, asked appropriate questions about their behavior, meds, wants, and needs. She handled meds and different feeding needs easily. Ellen was also ever so kind when I realized I had messed up my booking by an entire day and extended the stay for me (time zones 🙄). Most importantly: for the first time in my 20 years of travel, I had an animal fall ill (no fault of Ellen’s, he’s a cat with herpes that flared up in his little eye). She carefully monitored the situation and when his symptoms worsened a bit, she took him in for evaluation at my preferred vet. I know it must have been exhausting for her, but she genuinely handled this situation like he was her own cat. This could have been an immensely stressful situation for us both, but Ellen handled it with such compassion and kindness that I felt completely confident and experienced no distress. Given how strongly I love my pets, and how I worry for them, this was a huge surprise and relief for me.”

“Mina is a friendly, calm, and communicative sitter! We had a very pleasant meet and greet despite my dogs being pretty annoying and yappy at strangers. She took wonderful care of my two pups for a housesit for a day, and it was clear from the photos that they warmed up to her quickly! Would gladly have her back and recommend her to other dog parents.”

“Duncan was a professional and responsible caretaker. He went above and beyond our expectations when he took care of our 2 dogs Honey and Pickles for two weeks. Before even starting the job, he met us in a freezing blizzard for a simple meet + greet, which I think immediately showed his dedication to the job. He also cleaned up around our house when the dogs were making a mess, not something that we asked him to do — but rather something that he proactively did. One of our dogs, Honey, has anxiety. Duncan even stood overnight on New Years Eve just to help her stay calm during the fireworks, which I believe is something your average dog caretaker wouldn’t do! He was also very responsive with text and sent us updates every day. I felt much peace of mind because I knew Duncan was taking our two dogs on 2 walks every day, feeding them on time, and spending some time with them too. I would definitely recommend Duncan to a friend and would rebook him myself!”

“Liz was great with Sheba. Sheba is nervous and Liz was able to make her feel comfortable while we were away. When we came back Sheba seemed super relaxed and didnt do her normal OMG you are back clinginess like she does with new people”

“Kristen was great from the meet & greet forward. At the meet & greet when I suggested a quick walk to shiw her where we go she took the leash and started harnessing Captain up. Was responsive, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. I set a cadence expectation on check ins and she went above and with pictures. You can tell she respected my home during the stay. The most important part of knowing she did a good job was that Captain, while estatic to see me, was mopey the next day and you can tell he misses Kristen already. I will 100% be utilizing Kristen in the future.”

“Stefan was great with Rosie :) we got plenty of photos and updates throughout the stay - which we loved getting! We will definitely be booking with Stefan again.”

“Rowan was wonderful with my cat, Davey! She took such great care of him, shared regular updates, and also took great care of my space, from the photos and updates Rowan shared, I could tell Davey felt super comfortable and enjoyed Rowan’s company! Highly recommend!”

“Angela did a great job looking after my senior cat Zoe. Zoe has thyroid disease and old lady disposition and angela was able to give zoe her medicine with no problems. She and zoe were good friends by the end of the visit. 😻”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who has been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I treat every dog like they're my own and look forward to getting to know you and your pup. I love dogs/all animals and have over 12 years of experience caring for my own as well as friend's and family's dogs and other animals. I also worked at Wag for 6 months before moving here to Philadelphia so I have experience with professional dog walking. I truly enjoy the company of pets and I look forward to providing you peace of mind and the utmost in care for you and your four legged family members! I currently have a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix who absolutely loves meeting new dogs and people, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your furry family member. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just a cozy companion while you're away, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As a professional photographer, I also love capturing adorable moments, so you can expect plenty of cute photo updates while your dog is in my care! Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life. I have a dog of my own, so my daily routine naturally includes walks, feeding, playtime, training reinforcement, and plenty of attention and affection. I work with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care and ensure they receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they need throughout the day. I strive to maintain each pet's normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure. In my home, pets have a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of supervision, exercise, and opportunities to relax. In a client's home, I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can have peace of mind while they're away.
“Rachel was great and knowing she was there to competently handle my high maintenance mutt let me enjoy my mini vacation. She followed all my instructions and left my house neat and clean. Thanks Rachel!”

“Sieanna did an absolutely amazing, above and beyond job looking after Banjo. I loved her updates and how much I could tell she enjoyed hanging out with him. I would book again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different kinds of animals since I was a teenager. I worked at a zoo in England for a summer when I was a bit younger and from then, I grew a genuine passion for animals. I am currently working from home, so I will be able to provide lots of attention to your dog. I also walk routinely in the morning, evening, and anytime in between. I do not have any pets that live with me so it will just be myself and your dog. I will usually only have 1 dog at a time unless the dogs already know each other or live together.
“Diana did a great job house sitting and taking care of our 9 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. He is a high energy dog that has some seperation anxiety when we leave town and can be a little bold at times. But she did a great job handling his energy with plenty of walks and mental stimulation. We came home to a relaxed and happy dog!”

“I couldn't ask for a better sitter for my Mia!! Amanda is AWESOME!! She came and house sat with Mia today and got here just a little early so we could make sure to get on the road on time. She sent pics throughout the day and kept me updated on Mia. She is SO sweet and I will definitely be calling her again to sit with my Mia and Mia loved her! ❤️”

“Emily stayed with my two dogs for the first weekend I’ve been gone since COVID started. She is very communicative, direct and my boys (and I!) think she’s great. Wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.”

“Highly recommended Krista. Very communicative, on time and sent lots of photos. She took care of our anxious pup so well. Will be booking again soon.”

“Jennifer was awesome when we had to get a sitter for my dog and cat on short notice over Christmas! My boxer can be a handful, but she kept everything running smoothly and sent adorable pics.”

Point Breeze pet parents share their Rover experiences
Taylor has sat for our pup many times but this was her first overnight stay and it went GREAT. She stayed with Mr. Scruff for four nights and we were so thankful to not have to worry about him at all while we were gone. We got plenty of updates, she followed all of our instructions (especially important with his separation anxiety and reactivity), and was also a great houseguest. Our buddy was belly up, playing, and eating while we were away, which means he felt safe and happy — all we can ask for!

Ava was an amazing house/dog sitter for the weekend! She took amazing care of Archie and Cora and was very communicative throughout the entire process. She checked in every morning and evening and sent pictures, and we felt like the two of them were in great hands! We would definitely book Ava's services again in the future!

Mounika was absolutely wonderful! She stayed at our home with our 8-month-old puppy and provided thoughtful, regular updates throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our puppy can be quite a handful at times, but he absolutely adores her. She was patient, attentive, and clearly cared for him as if he were her own. On top of that, she helped us navigate an unexpected HVAC issue while we were gone and left our home spotless. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would recommend her without hesitation. 100/10!

Emily is amazing. My dog can be extremely stubborn when she doesn’t want to go out but Emily was undeterred. Winnie also hates thunderstorms and there were several while Emily was watching her and Emily was so attentive to keeping Winnie calm during the storms. Emily also sent great photos and regular updates. I felt super at ease knowing Winnie was in Emily’s hands!

We had a wonderful experience with Layla! She took such great care of Ellie, sent lots of updates and photos, was quick to communicate, and even brought in packages that arrived while we were away. I was fully able to enjoy my time away knowing Ellie was in such good hands. She also helped with a last-minute walk request the week before our trip. She treated both our home and our pup with so much care and respect. She is reliable and trustworthy, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

A really great sitter! Dixie was left totally tuckered out and had a great afternoon with Gabe - who was super attentive, really gentle, kind with her. Super communicative and even met up with us prior to the house sit for a meet and greet. Would definitely book with Gabe again!

Alyssa did her usual great work with our cats, Barney and Ruby. They are always happy to see her and don't seem to miss us much. She is great at updating us with photos. We are totally comfortable with her staying overnight in our apartment and caring for the felines.
