“Ellen was absolutely amazing! Super flexible with some strange arrangements helping us look after our dog in a downtown hotel. Very kind and Poppy took to her immediately. Would highly highly recommend.”

“Liz was great with my high energy, velcro dog Koda. She asked good questions during our meet and greet and kept me updated during her stay with Koda!”

“Duncan was a professional and responsible caretaker. He went above and beyond our expectations when he took care of our 2 dogs Honey and Pickles for two weeks. Before even starting the job, he met us in a freezing blizzard for a simple meet + greet, which I think immediately showed his dedication to the job. He also cleaned up around our house when the dogs were making a mess, not something that we asked him to do — but rather something that he proactively did. One of our dogs, Honey, has anxiety. Duncan even stood overnight on New Years Eve just to help her stay calm during the fireworks, which I believe is something your average dog caretaker wouldn’t do! He was also very responsive with text and sent us updates every day. I felt much peace of mind because I knew Duncan was taking our two dogs on 2 walks every day, feeding them on time, and spending some time with them too. I would definitely recommend Duncan to a friend and would rebook him myself!”

“Booked Stefan last minute and has my fingers crossed behind my back, but no need! Proactively Stefan made the effort to travel to meet my dog prior to booking. He was communicative and kind, will re-book certainly.”

“We really appreciated how conscientious Krista was with our chihuahua. From the meet n greet straight through the end, Krista was friendly, communicative, and attentive to our dog’s needs. We’d hire her again in a heartbeat 😊”

“Jennifer is a very nice person and great pet sitter. My travel plans changed and she was flexible, made notes of what had been done and when, and when I came home, my pet was very happy.”

About: I have helped care for hundreds of dogs, cats, and other animals over the last four years working in animal welfare. I have acquired many skills over the years that make me an ideal candidate to care for pets of all size, age, temperament, and medical needs. Reactive dog? No problem! Hard to medicate cat? Easy peasy! Whatever your pet's need, I can take care of it! I work 9-5, Friday-Tuesday at an animal rescue in the city. I am available any time outside of those hours for whatever you may need! Working in animal welfare has kept me up to date in the most recent and accepted practices in animal care. I work daily to help people trouble shoot issues they are having with their animals and can easily use that knowledge to meet your pet's needs.
“Dan’s an excellent house sitter. He was punctual and clearly communicated everything that was going on during his stay. He sent tons of pics and videos of my boys so that I’d know they were doing well. Would recommend”

About: I have experience caring for dogs since I was 8 in my own home. I also have been a dog-sitter and dog-walker for family and friends for years with all different sizes and breeds of dogs. I am currently working a remote job and am able to set my own hours, so I have plenty of schedule flexibility to care for your pet! I always make sure to double check that the door is locked when I leave a client’s home. I treat every home as though it were my own, making sure to leave it in the exact same condition as when I arrived.

“Carrie was an amazing sitter. Attentive, communicative, and punctual. She went above and beyond to make sure my Bonnie was cared for the way I would take care of her. I will be rebooking with her for sure!”

“Stella had an extended stay with our pup and she was so wonderful at making sure our baby felt comfortable while we were gone. It was our first time being away so we were understandably anxious about how Philomena would do but Stella sent us loads of updates, photos and videos. Our pup had a wonderful staycation all thanks to her!!!”

“Stephanie was amazing with Birdie. She was incredibly responsive throughout the stay and easily took care of any difficulties that arose. We could tell that Birdie loved Stephanie by the end of the stay, which made us very happy. She was also very thoughtful and considerate staying in our apartment!”

“Jackie did a great job with our cat and dog. She sent us regular updates and the house was in great shape when we got back. She even kept our plants alive through a hot spell. Thank you, Jackie!”

I received plenty of updates on my pup complete with the most ADORABLE photos. When I returned, my home was clean and tidy and my pup was calm and content. Overall 10/10 recommend!”

South Philadelphia pet parents share their Rover experiences
Angela is truly a cat whisperer. We were away for almost two weeks and Angela put us at ease - sending us regular photos and updates of our three cats. It is clear that our kitties loved her. She was thorough with daily feeding and litter needs, and most importantly, did a lot of cuddle and enrichment activities with our cats. We would highly recommend Angela, and there is no doubt that we will be leveraging her again for our upcoming trips!
I would recommend Erin as a sitter. She was very detail oriented during our meet and greet. She arrived on time and departed on time. I received plenty of updates on my pup complete with the most ADORABLE photos. When I returned, my home was clean and tidy and my pup was calm and content. Overall 10/10 recommend!
Taylor has sat for our pup many times but this was her first overnight stay and it went GREAT. She stayed with Mr. Scruff for four nights and we were so thankful to not have to worry about him at all while we were gone. We got plenty of updates, she followed all of our instructions (especially important with his separation anxiety and reactivity), and was also a great houseguest. Our buddy was belly up, playing, and eating while we were away, which means he felt safe and happy — all we can ask for!

Ava was an amazing house/dog sitter for the weekend! She took amazing care of Archie and Cora and was very communicative throughout the entire process. She checked in every morning and evening and sent pictures, and we felt like the two of them were in great hands! We would definitely book Ava's services again in the future!

Mounika was absolutely wonderful! She stayed at our home with our 8-month-old puppy and provided thoughtful, regular updates throughout her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Our puppy can be quite a handful at times, but he absolutely adores her. She was patient, attentive, and clearly cared for him as if he were her own. On top of that, she helped us navigate an unexpected HVAC issue while we were gone and left our home spotless. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would recommend her without hesitation. 100/10!

We had a wonderful experience with Layla! She took such great care of Ellie, sent lots of updates and photos, was quick to communicate, and even brought in packages that arrived while we were away. I was fully able to enjoy my time away knowing Ellie was in such good hands. She also helped with a last-minute walk request the week before our trip. She treated both our home and our pup with so much care and respect. She is reliable and trustworthy, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.
