Dog Person in a Cat Person’s Life
I’ve always lived either among people who were allergic to dogs or in places that didn’t allow them. I accepted long ago that my dog ownership would always be vicarious and made myself available to friends and neighbors as a walker and sitter for dogs around the same time I started babysitting, so.... a really long time ago. I’m a great animal parent and aunt (good human aunt too). As long as your dog is a Good Dog ? and doesn’t walk me instead of the other way around, or maul me if he/she smells cat on me, we’ll have a great time together. I have no experience with dog training, so just be sure to leave me clear instructions if you’re at all worried about an actual trainer’s work being undone. Happy to piggyback on their expertise! Looking forward to being your dog’s cool aunt!
