“It is always stressful leaving our two dogs behind when we go away, especially internationally, but Zhanna seriously could not have done a better job making us feel comfortable while watching our two little dudes. Even with some digestive issues our one pup had, Zhanna was prepared with her own packets of pureed pumpkin and handled it like a pro, keeping us updated throughout it all! The daily pictures and videos were great and we could really tell just how quickly our dogs warmed up to Zhanna and genuinely loved her. 12/10, would highly recommend Zhanna for all your dog sitting needs!”

“Jessica was wonderful with our pup! We felt so safe and relived to find a great sitter to stay with our dog for the weekend! Will be booking again. You’re fur babies are in good hands with her! Thank you Jessica! ❤️”

“Enrique J.came through and provided housesitting for my (slightly spoiled) shelter pup over Christmas week when another arrangement fell apart. All was well with the dog and my place and we all had a great holiday!”

“Best dog sitters ever! 🥹 We have two rescue dogs, who have very unique needs. Haiku in particular we had a lot of anxiety about leaving, and this was our first time having an in home dog sitter for her. She has a somewhat severe case of anxiety, and requires a lot of work, actually being afraid of walks, people, everything really, and especially getting her to use the potty can be so hard because she is stubborn to do anything other than relax in her safe space after previous trauma she’d endured. Most dogs sitters turned us down after hearing about our dogs’ needs and no one else was able to do in home house sitting, and we weren’t even sure we’d be able to leave for the week to visit family. But Anna and Connor ended up being a god sent because not only were they able to house sit but after meeting Anna for the meet and greet I knew she would do a great job. They also must have done such a great job making Haiku comfortable and they were able to have some, what my partner and I would consider “wins” with her such as using the potty in the backyard which we are still working on. It seems like they even went above and beyond, using special feeders to see if she’d eaten and making special time for her to try to get her out of her shell and feeling comfortable/safe. I can stress enough this was no easy feat and leaving the dogs was my biggest stressor going away for a week, but with all Anna and Connor did for our dogs, it ended up being the least of my concerns, because my partner and I knew that our dogs were being treated with the most utmost care. In fact, Snoopy usually sleeps on the couch but was able to sleep in the guest bed while Anna and Connor were staying here so I think for that and other reasons their watching him was actually a treat for him, which is great because our Snoopy has attachment issues and used to really suffer from separation anxiety when I would leave. Not to mention (!) our flight was tragically cancelled in the middle of the night and Anna happened to be awake at 6am (lol) to immediately reassure us she would be able to care for the dogs an extra day while we were stuck in Colorado!!! What an amazing two dog sitters I can’t say enough I am flabbergasted lol. Anna sent me updates and pictures pretty much every day she was watching the pups, and her thorough communication and questions showed her thoughtfulness and care for the animals she watches. I can’t recommend these two enough and if we even travel again I will be quick to book them again if they would be willing to hang with my insane dogs again.”

“Marisol stayed at my house from Dec 23 through the morning of Dec 26 and did a great job. I came home to a clean place and happy, well cared for pets. Communication was easy and I felt totally comfortable while I was away. I’d absolutely book with her again.”

“Brittany was awesome with Libby, super information and forthcoming when Lib grabbed something she shouldn’t have had. I am so grateful for her attentiveness and honesty!”

“Princess profile and response time is what sold me, then she arrived on time and Jetta loved her immediately!! She’s soooo sweet! She gave her the best cuddles and belly rubs ! She sent pictures throughout the day to keep me updated, I would rebook with her anytime she’s available!! 10/10 definitely recommend 🫶🏽”

“Paulina is great! She set up a meet and greet and asked lots of questions ahead of time so we could enjoy a night out knowing our puppy was in good hands. She made everything so smooth and easy, we couldn't be happier!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs all of my life. Back home in new jersey, my family has a border collie named Ace that is my child. I love dogs, cats, and all animals. I’d treat your animals like they were my own. :) I work from home daily, making my schedule flexible and adaptable for pet needs. I can adjust my own schedule to fit the needs of clients. I have a safe, open apartment. Animals can roam freely without being in danger of eating things or getting injured. I live in an apartment complex as well.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for friends and family for 11 years. All breeds and sizes. I work remote and currently don’t have a fur baby of my own, so I’m happy to take care of yours! I work remote, so I can fit in a good walk around the city every few hours, as needed. Unless I am in a virtual meeting, I can attend to your fur baby right away. I live in an apartment building that does have a small patch of grass, however, I can also walk them to the nearest park if they are a big walker. I don’t have a dog myself, and I board 1 dog at a time, so they will have my full attention.

“Walker was so great watching our dog Finn! She sent lots of pictures, provided updates on how Finn was doing and left our home clean when we returned. I think our dog really enjoyed spending time with her, and we felt peace of mind knowing our nervous dog was well taken care of!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 7 years in total. I make sure to keep a clean environment so that the fur babies can feel clean. I love cuddles, enrichment quality play time, and walks! I am a fast walker and can handle dogs that pull on leashes. I’m currently working part-time and so I have flexibility in walks and sitting! I usually walk a dog during my lunch break. Night times are easier for me to drop in or walk dogs as well. I make sure that all bathroom areas are kept clean, especially after use. I keep plenty of toys around, although I recommend you bring your dog’s favorite toys to me.
“Ariadna took amazing care of my very anxious rescue dog. She was so patient with Penny, and it seems like Penny really trusted her by the end of the weekend! She sent tons of pictures and updates every day, (which were so appreciated!) and was vey communicative. She also left my home very clean. Highly recommend!”

Riverfront pet parents share their Rover experiences
I have a very difficult, traumatized rescue. He finds it very hard to trust new people, and is very reactive to strange dogs. For the last five years it’s been really hard for me to go anywhere because a boarding situation would freak him out, and most dog sitters aren’t willing or able to be patient and gentle enough to get through to him. Oliver was our answer. He has a sweet, patient energy that not only Jack but my other dog and cat also love. I finally feel like I have an option now to occasionally get away, and travel for work. Thank you, thank you, Oliver!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Justine was incredibly conscientious and took wonderful care of both our dog and our tortoise. She kept us updated with pictures throughout our trip, which really put our minds at ease. Whenever she had a question, she communicated promptly and clearly. We came home to a clean, organized house and a calm, happy dog who clearly felt comfortable and loved in her care. The spontaneous photo updates she sent were such a thoughtful touch and made being away so much easier. We highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!

Mey was amazing! Spent two weeks taking care of our very puppy energy Husky and handled him beautifully. Left the place cleaner than she found it and was great and giving daily updates and photos which helped with my separation anxiety haha. Definitely will be asking her to care for our pup again when needed. Thank you so much Mey!

Jennifer stepped up to take care of Melchi over New Years (savior!). He requires eye meds which can be challenging and she’d never done it before, but she handled it amazingly — his eyes were looking great when we got back from our 5 day vacation. The house was left clean. I would definitely book Jennifer again!

Darina was great! She stayed in my home with my dog while I traveled over the holidays. She sent updates twice a day (morning and evening) with pictures and good descriptions of how everything was going. My dog seemed happy in the photos and also when I got home—he even went looking for her the next morning, haha! Darina was diligent about following our typical walking times, and her schedule was perfect to spend lots of time with him too outside of that. She was also tidy and respectful of the space, and she was very thoughtful in cleaning up after her stay.

Aden provided exemplary care for my dog. They were professional, dependable, and attentive throughout the booking. I returned to a calm, well-cared-for pet and felt confident in Aden’s judgment and reliability. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend Aden to other pet owners.
