About: I've had dogs since the day I was born from large to small. He loves visitors and company! I have raised, trained and bred dogs in my past. I now live a slow life with my 10 year old shih tzu Dexter. He is kind, chill and loves company. We are always in the city and love other dogs, walks and parks. I am a highschool teacher. We go on walks every morning around 6:15am. When I return around 3pm we go on another extended walk to the park. When returning from the walk we have dinner and relax. Then we take one more evening walk right before bed. The weekends entail 3 walks daily and lots of cuddle time. When pets stay in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved, just like they would with their own family. I love giving pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and snuggles while keeping them on their usual routines as much as possible. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to make them feel at ease in a new environment. Whether your pup loves outdoor adventures or prefers relaxing and cuddling on the couch, I’ll make sure they get plenty of care, attention, and affection while you’re away!

“I am so grateful to have come across Donte here on Rover. I have an almost 3 year old Pit mix that I rescued. And Pit's just have a stereotype about them, so most people don't want to watch them. So far, Lola has been with the same boarder, but they are no longer on the Rover app. I came across Donte and he immediately said YES. I was so happy and relieved and particularly excited and grateful that he is a dog trainer, which I made me feel like he could totally handle her. That was a true bonus in my mind. Lola has had training already, but it can take her a moment to warm up. Donte said she did good; I made her sound worse than she really is. I didn't get any videos or pics, so next time, I will request. I like to see her progress. Donte let me know that Lola got to play with his dog; glad she got to interact with another dog. She needs that. Donte was very flexible as I requested to add on another nite for him to keep Lola. All in all, I am very pleased with his services. Donte lives not too far from me, so that's an even added bonus. I will most denitely use Donte's services again and highly recommend him. Thank you Donte for the great care.”

About: I’m the go-to for all my family and friends who need their beloved doggos taken care of. From Frenchies to Labs. I have experience with walking, feeding, and playings with different types of dogs. I do have a 9-5 job, but my schedule is extremely flexible. I can make weeknights and all-day weekends work (Friday considered part of the weekend). I mostly take care of dogs at their homes. I follow all the directions set by their owners and try to make sure the dogs continue to feel at ease despite having an unfamiliar face around.

About: I have some foster cat experience with both social & non-social cats. I have done all kinds of pet sitting since high school and my family has had 2 dogs of our own. I live in a quiet single home with no other pets or people! I work a full time job 9-5 with remote Fridays. If near by, I can leave during lunch for mid day stop ins or walks. If it is needed, every now and then I am able to request to work other days from home as well! If your pet is in my home, I do have a very small apartment but they'd get the whole thing to themselves (besides me of course)! If they are high energy I would love to take them out on lots of walks and trips to nearby parks! If I need to come to your home I will be sure to be respectful of your space and care for and adapt to whatever needs your pet has while you are away.

About: I have spent my whole life around animals. I have had dogs since I was a child and recently became a cat mom 4 years ago! I have also had frogs, hamsters, turtles, and fish. I will make sure that I treat any and every animal as if they’re my own! I am a first year medical student looking to fulfill my desire to work a flexible, part time job taking care of animals in my community. I live in an apartment but have access to grass areas and perfect spots to walk fur babies. While I have two cats at home, I am able to separate them from other animals if needed.
