“I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. Samantha and her partner are genuine “dog people”. My dog is very selective with men and he immediately showed affection towards Samantha‘s boyfriend. They have the knowledge and patience you’re looking for.”

About: Animals have been my life since BEFORE I was born. My mother and Godmother owned horses and I grew up training dogs. I now have 2 cats and 1 dog who are the sweetest ever! I work full time in Vet Medicine so your pet will always have access to care should they need it during their stay. I work full time but only 20 minutes from home. Walks and meals will take place between 6am-7am with a midday drop in/walk. Evenings will have longer walks and play time before dinner and bed. I have 2 friendly cats and 1 loving dog. They love to make friends! While I don't have a fenced in yard, walks are PRIORITY, usually going on 2-3 per day or more on the weekends. I have a crate should I need to crate my dog (or yours if that is your preference) during the day/nights. I also have cameras to ensure I have a constant eye on the babies as they nap throughout the day.

About: I've had dogs and cats throughout my life and love taking care of them. I currently have a black lab named Lucca he's the best boy and his brother Bean the cat. I love to play and walk all the dogs I can, cats take time but I will just sit there and wait to see if they will come to me... It's all we can do, right? (Maybe a churu could help) We have a 70lbs goofy black lab so I can handle an, active dog. I know that getting them a bit of a run/play will make everyone's day better. My view is to be a reward only trainer with my dog. I wait until we pay attention, reward and repeat. We don't usually crate Lucca as he has some specific issues from before we adopted him. I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I'm happy to work around your pet's routine. If you need last-minute care or have a changing schedule, I'll do my best to accommodate you! Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine, so I'll make sure to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. I'm respectful of your home and will always leave it just as I found it. I'll also send plenty of updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away. If any supplies are needed during my visit, I just ask that they're provided ahead of time so I can give your pet the best care possible.

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches.
