“I did a meet and greet with Samantha and her resident dog, and I immediately knew that my little puppy would be safe and in good hands with her. She understands dog behavior and we watched and made sure that my dog would be nice to her sweet dog. The next day I dropped my doggie for some doggy daycare and as to be expected, he seemed a little nervous when I left him, and Samantha reassured me that after a few minutes, he would be fine -and he was. Just like other reviewers have noted when I went to pick up my little guy he did not seem to want to go home with me. He let me know with his body language that he was very happy and having fun. Samantha and her partner are genuine “dog people”. My dog is very selective with men and he immediately showed affection towards Samantha‘s boyfriend. They have the knowledge and patience you’re looking for.”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, as far back as my grandma's farm cats! For the past five years, I have had two cats of my own :) One of my cats was previously feral and found by my fiance; as such, I have plenty of experience building trust and developing meaningful connections with animals. Furthermore, she has asthma and feline hyperthyroidism. I have had to administer medications in many forms and am prepared to cater to any needs of your fur baby! Over the past few years, I have also cared for several dogs and have experience with pets of all shapes and sizes. “This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches.
