I knew Claire would be a good fit right after she walked in because she clearly knew cat body language and respected his boundaries which meant he warmed up to her much faster. She listened to all the instructions I left and went above and beyond by playing bird and squirrel videos so he wouldn’t get bored. This was the first time I didn’t have a friend who could watch him so I was pretty nervous using Rover at all, but Claire made this so easy and she’ll be my go-to every time going forward! She also sent picture updates which was much appreciated and my cat was clearly having a blast. About: I've taken care of pets and kids since I was in high school. I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages, including seniors and puppies (I used to have an adopted senior dog, who sadly passed away last year). Most recently I fostered a young dog (approximately 2 years old) from Philly PAWS and worked with him on house training and basic socialization. I've cared for both cats and dogs, multiple pets at a time, and have experience administering medication. I currently work part-time for a fully remote company, so my schedule is very flexible for your pet's needs. I enjoy going on morning and afternoon walks with or without a dog (but really, they're so much better with a dog!), and have experience working my day around my own dog's schedule. My current home is an apartment, no yard but very walkable area and a short walk to a nearby dog park and to the Schuylkill River Trail. I have a crate for a small dog (30lbs and under), and multiple dog beds. I have mostly cared for pets in their own homes so as to minimize any disruption or unfamiliarity.
