“I can’t say enough good things about Molly. She is absolutely fantastic with my dog…caring, reliable, and so easy to communicate with. My pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. She always gives great updates and pictures from each walk, which I really appreciated. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and takes pride in what she does… Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!”

“Jen did a great job watching our blind dog Pavel. She can be kind of difficult around strangers but Jen handled her well. Jen provided great updates and pictures while we were out of town.”

“Our dog loves Morgan and looks forward to his walks. Morgan is easy t work with and communicates very well. Knowing he is getting his midday walks from a caring person makes all the difference.”

About: Hi everyone! My name is vlad, College is here for me and I’m saving up for my future and thought pet care would be perfect due to the fact I have been doing it since I was around 6 years old. I’ve had many animals in my life such as lizards, dogs, cats, gerbils and fish. Glad to be working with you! I am currently available at all times of the day given that I don’t have a job as of right now and this would become my main job. I don’t have a fence where I currently am but I can’t take your pet on extra walks and I don’t have much going on so I can give them extra attention and attend to there needs without distraction.
“Christie was great with our 4 month old puppy, Wanda. She showed up consistently and let me know ahead of time when something unexpected came up preventing her from walking Wanda as scheduled one time. She alerted us to a behavior that could be a problem when walking around our neighborhood and worked with Wanda on her manners.”
About: I am a lifelong animal lover and have been caring for animals ever since I was a teenager. Today I am the proud mama of a 2 1/2 year-old standard poodle named Biscuit and a 7 year old Labradoodle named Bart, both male. A couple of years ago, my teenage daughters started babysitting and pet sitting in our neighborhood and naturally I got involved every now and then which has led me to Rover. Something interesting about our family is that our older dog, Bart, is a rescue and has quite the story! We drove to Ohio in August 2019 to pick him up and when we got back to Charlotte, he jumped our fence at the time and was missing for 4 months. We worked independently and with an animal tracker over the course of those months - setting up cameras where sightings were reported, setting up food traps, and plastering flyers all over Charlotte and Matthews. Then one day in December, all of our hard work paid off and a lovely woman was able to lure Bart into her yard with her own dogs. It has been a long road since then, but we are blessed to say that he has come a long way and is a very different dog than the one we picked up in Ohio all those years ago! That experience taught us so much and was a true testament to the power of determination and dedication. We truly believe that Bart was meant to be in our family. I am currently a stay at home mom of older kids so I have lots of time and flexibility to work with pet parents needs. I have a large fenced yard that has been reinforced because of 1 of our own dogs being an escape artist. We do not crate our own dogs just because we have not needed to and will allow any dogs staying with us to roam freely with our own, as long as the parents are comfortable with that. I strive to make animals feel at home in our home because I know the feeling that comes with having to leave your animals in someone else’s care.
“Irvin was so kind and gracious. He volunteered to watch our pups at the last minute and took such good care of them. He was communicative and attentive to our messages about the walk. Will be booking Irving again in the future! ?”

About: I’ve watched dogs for family and friends for years and love caring for other’s pets. Recently rescued our own puppy Ozzy so I am experienced with puppies as well! I currently work from home full time with flexibility. So during the day I can look to take care of your pet when you are unable to do so. I will come to your place of residence to walk and care for your pet. My neighborhood is dog friendly as well but expectation would be at owners
“After using rover for the first time I loved michaela once I met her she is a very genuine and understanding person she always send pictures of my sweet pup couldn’t asked for a better sitter ! ❤️”

About: Ever since our first family dog I’ve felt connected to animals. Quite loving and patience and warmth. Growing up we had Pomeranian’s. Adulthood choices included an Australian Shepherd Lucky for me, I have a flexible, full time job and work from home. Lucky for you, I have room in my day and heart to help take care of your fur babies. My back yard is fully fenced in. It’s mostly a six foot wooden fence. The area is large allowing for the the zoomies as well as catch and the fence doors lock.
“Jessica was fantastic! I thought she was the consummate professional always on time and kind to our pups. Her cards and pictures were very helpful in letting us feel comfortable with her taking care of both dogs. We will be very happy to use Jessica again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my significant experience with animals and my passion for their care. I have been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, including dogs and cats of various ages. I have experience managing the diets of pets with allergies, allowing me to provide specialized care. I also know how to keep pets entertained and help them adapt to new environments so they feel comfortable and secure. My goal is to create a safe and loving atmosphere where your pets can be happy and protected. I currently have a part time work. I mostly work from 1pm till 7pm. So, I can work as pet sitter in the morning and on the weekends and holidays. We can always create a schedule by agreement. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment when caring in my clients’ homes. I create a secure space with no hazards and ensure that pets have access to fresh water and clean areas. I keep a routine that includes regular feeding, playtime, and exercise, which helps pets feel comfortable and reduces stress. In a client’s home, I respect their guidelines and routines while also ensuring that their pets feel safe and loved. I communicate openly with pet owners about their pets’ needs and behaviors, building trust through transparency. My goal is to create a welcoming and safe environment where pets can thrive.
