Availability
I can be very very flexible most days, sometimes, with same day availability, so don’t hesitate to ask! I’m most open every other Monday, every Friday-Sunday, but most other days, I’ve got flexibility- I am mostly a stay at home mom, so I’ll just need a little heads up to drop my kid off with a sitter 😊

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and a garage that I pull in to so when transporting, the dog is never free roaming. I always transport dogs in crash- tested crates, to be extra safe and I have a room in my home, specifically for crating and rotating dogs!

Information Erin K. would like to know about your pet
Your daily schedule: I try to keep it as normal as possible for your dog, so they’re not thrown off when they return home. Any medications, vaccine, flea and tick records are preferred! Any food allergies I need to know about (my dog has a chicken allergy so you won’t find that in my home for the most part)
A typical day
Depending on the dog and their needs, we will do at least one walk a day- usually I try to get 2 in, weather dependent. If the dog is well behaved, we will try to get some field trips in to a store like Lowe’s to walk around somewhere new. We will throw ball, play with toys, and of course, snuggles and treats because I treat your dog like one of my own!

Pet care experience
I was pre-vet in college, which is where my love for dogs began. I have since been training dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes over the past 5+ years! I have handled wild ones, tame ones, spicy ones and old ones and I love them all like they’re my own!
Reviews
Erin is one of the only people I trust to watch my girl. Not only does she care for her as if she was her own, but Lexi truly loves getting to see Erin. Erin is incredible at reinforcing the good habits and training that we use with her daily and she always makes sure to follow whatever directions I leave for her regarding Lexi’s care. Couldn’t recommend her more!
One of the highest compliments I can give is to say..I trust you with my dog. It is rare that I would say these words BUT without hesitation I trust Erin K with my dog. She has integrity, is responsible, delivers outstanding customer service and is 100% committed to providing a safe, happy and healthy environment for the dog. Erin has been the single pet care person and trainer for my Golden for the past four years. If he could type this testimonial he would and he would give her all GOLD STARS. In addition to her abilities to provide outstanding responsible pet care she is an exceptional dog trainer with an extensive background and knowledge of many breeds and many breed personalities. Rover's email message asked - what makes this person an awesome human being. The answer is: trustworthiness, integrity, loyalty, keeps her word, a deep sense of awareness and compassion , responsible, committed to understanding the bond between owner and dog, and willingness to always do the right thing in the best interest of the dog and its owner. I highly recommend Erin K.
We met Erin when she trained our Bernese Mt Dog puppy at Offleash K9 Asheville. She was always easy to reach for questions and follow-up issues and always kept us updated when our pup was with her. Our pup became part of her family and Erin became like part of our family as our pup’s one and only care giver when we were out of town. We were very sad when she moved to Charlotte but happy that she will be able to share her love and expertise with dogs with folks in the Charlotte area. Can a person give more than “five stars”? Highly recommend Erin K
