About: From volunteering at the Humane Society to daily excursions with various neighborhood dogs, my heart has been one with animals. Since then, my life has followed in suit, from overnights to day trips, there is never a moment without a dog by my side. I have two dogs of my own that love more than life itself. I am accustomed to attending to their daily maintenance i.e. brushing, walking, enrichment. Old dogs, small dogs, big dogs, anxious ones, to high-needs, you name it, I got you. I will not turn away from any dog's needs. In times of urgency, I am quick on my feet. In times of necessary communication, I am articulate and efficient. Due to my genetic condition, I can no longer work a typical 9-5. To make ends meet, I work freelance, and that means I am almost always available, even on a moment's notice. Walking is the one thing that I can still do (exercise wise) that I make part of my daily routine. This makes coming by to give your loved one a journey outside, not only a paid gig for me, but a moment to feel the comfort of the two things I love in life the most; dogs and walking. I wake up around 8am, and usually am in bed by 11pm. This leaves a wide range of hours for me to be of service. I have a fenced yard and two friendly male dogs that are accustomed to sharing their space. I respect 'places' in which dogs are not allowed/or allowed, including the crate, the couch, a bed, or room. I am consistent in my verbiage with training commands. I also keep toxic items out of reach, stored properly. I keep a running list of plants, foods, and animals that need to be kept away from the pet.
18. Steve B.
“Steve came to our family’s rescue after I tore my ACL. Our pup is VERY high energy and so I ran with him prior to my injury. All of that energy had to go somewhere while I recovered and Steve was that answer!”
