The axolotl eats live earth worms so it’s not for the faint of heart but Brie jumped at the chance to help! :) We will absolutely book with her again. Today is our first full day back home and I can tell the dogs are missing her! Especially our senior dog- he keeps going to the window looking for her! Truly can’t wait to book again with her!”
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve cared for and trained pets for as long as I can remember. I’m comfortable with different ages, personalities, energy levels, and routines, including puppies and basic training. I’ve volunteered with animal shelters and Walk for the Animals for multiple years, and I also have experience house and pet sitting for multi-pet households. One included caring for a dog, a bunny, three adult cats, and four kittens at the same time! About: For over 20 years, I've looked after everything from energetic puppies to senior doggies, newborn kittens to little furry rodents. My professional background in behavior science has taught me to show up reliably, respect boundaries, and have patience in chaotic moments. I grew up with all manner of dogs: Labradors, Goldendoodles, Jack Russells, Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and more. I know how to potty-train and teach a few fun tricks. I will always ensure your animal's safety and comfort is my top priority. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom so my schedule is very flexible! I'm home throughout the day and can offer attentive care. My crew includes Skippy and Juju, two senior chihuahuas, Goldie, a rare female marmalade kitty, and Wesley, my adventurous little human boy. We love getting outdoors to go on walks and hikes. Your pet's safety is always my priority. I require a leash for all walks and prefer harnesses to collars for doggy security. My backyard is fenced and a beautiful park with a small walking trail is directly behind my house. I have a variety of different sized kennels along with baby gates restricting access to certain areas of my house like the entry way and stairs. My own pets are easy going couch potatoes and I have no problem separating them from others if necessary.
About: Hello! I'm Lex. I've grown up with pets all my life. I've always had at least one cat in the house since I was born. Right now, I currently have two cats. I also grew up with close relatives having dogs, so I'm also experienced with them. For my experience outside of my own pets, I've pet-sat occasionally for both a relatives dog, and my neighbor's cats. My cats are my fluffy children, who I love with all of my heart, and I'm here to give your fur babies (both cats and dogs) just as much love as I show my own. I am excited to meet you and your pets! I'm currently a hybrid college student. This leaves me with a flexible and open schedule! I am available before 8AM and after 5PM on weekdays and am available most weekends. I am available to pet sit any night and am able to do a quick check-in around noon every weekday for about thirty minutes if providing an all-day or overnight service. As a sitter in your home, my first step in caring for your pets is diving into their and your specific needs. I am comfortable managing all types of pets and all ages. This extends from providing energetic play for young animals to administering medication for senior pets.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
