About: Hi! I'm your local Sanford pet sitter/walker. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, small domesticated birds, and chickens. In my home, your dog will have a place to relax, play, and be happy. Your pup won’t just be a guest—they’ll be family. No cramped kennels or long hours alone. They’ll have the run of the house, plenty of outdoor time, belly rubs, treats, and all the love they could ask for. Need to book last minute? If I’ve got the space, I’m happy to make it work! I also offer house-sitting, drop-in visits, pick-up/drop-off, and dog walking, within range of service. A brief Meet & Greet is required prior to sitting for all new clients to assure compatibility. Every morning we take walks and frequently a second walk after work. Since I work remotely and am home nearly all the time, your dog will always have company and attention throughout the day. We have a limit of 3 dogs so your dog gets the full care and attention it needs. We have policies in place to make sure dogs, who are escape artists, aren’t able to make a run for it, we space feeding time and walking time as research has shown eating prior to a meal can cause bloating and other complications. It’s my mission your dog is safe at all times so you can worry less when your dog is not with you.

“Kristen is very kind, prompt and has great communication! She actually takes the time to engage with your pet. Lots of pics and videos. I would def recommend her for your pet needs!”

She ensures he gets plenty of exercise, attention, and love on every walk, keeping his tail wagging and his spirits high. Her dependable nature and genuine affection make her an essential part of Bruce’s happy routine.”

“Ashley took on this task with a short notice and during a holiday. She was kind, patient and very diligent in watching over our two sometimes emotional cats. She kept in contact with us each day sending notes and pictures which allowed us to enjoy our holiday with peace of mind. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a mature, dependable pet care helper-who will treat as more than just a job.”

About: Dogs are our best friends and I’ve had several over my life. I’ve taken care of senior dogs and dogs with medical conditions who need extra love and medicine. I understand our furry friends need attention and exercise to be the best versions of themselves - like we do! I was diagnosed with a rare cancer a couple of years ago and my toy poodle, Toby, played a big part in my recovery! I have been blessed to work from home which is where I will be the majority of the time to watch over your baby. I may very occasionally need to leave the house for brief errands, but will never be gone very long. We have cameras in our home to keep an eye on things while away. We try to have a good routine so as not to cause a lot of stress and uncertainty. We recently had a portion of our yard astroturfed and fenced, creating an awesome play space for our own toy poodle and any friends! I am always supervising play outside and we take appropriate breaks for rest and behavior training.

“I had to travel out of state for a week. Douglania dropped in at my house every evening as I had asked, to feed my cat Clove, change out her drinking water, clean her litter box and to play with Clove as well. While I was away I received many photos, videos and updates every day of Clove and I could tell Clove was very happy. It gave me peace of mind to know that Clove would be checked on every day and given some love. Douglania took great care of my cat Clove and I would for sure use her services again in future.”

About: I am the biggest animal lover! I grew up with a black lab who had two litters totaling 20 puppies. I’ve rescued and cared for 6 wonderful dogs in my 32 years. In college I lived with my best friend who had 8 cats and I helped take care of them. I treat all animals as if they were my own and give them all the love, attention, and snuggles when their humans are away. I’m currently in school and have mostly online classes so my schedule is very flexible. I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! I’m available for boarding 24/7. I have a large fenced in backyard and a sweet blue heeler named Ryder who loves when he has company to play with. Your babies will be safe and comfortable and well loved in our home!

“Alycia is wonderful! She is caring and very reliable. Our cat Lucy is lovable but does not take to everyone easily. She befriended Alycia immediately (cats are very good judge of character) :-) I highly recommend Alycia. We will be using her again!”

About: I have cared for lots of different kinds of animals in my life, going all the way back to walking neighborhood dogs and popping in to tend to cats and fish at 10. I have been the go-to person in my family for any pet sitting needs since I was young. I have worked as a Vet Tech at Vetco, trained dogs of all ages since I was 12, and recently worked as a Kennel Technician. I’ve owned freshwater fish, bearded dragons, long and short hair cats, hamsters, toads, rats, ferrets, snakes, and a few different dogs. If your pet has special needs I am sensitive to those as well and I am fully willing to provide whatever kinds of special care they may need, including medications, wipe downs/baths, assisting them up/down stairs, etc. I have cared for lots of different kinds of pets and can’t wait to add yours to the mix! I currently am in the process of changing jobs, so I am available most days of the week and I can do holiday and weekend visits as well. I will do my best to make your fur babies feel comfortable and safe when I visit and care for them. I love getting to know pets personalities and I take a genuine investment in their well being.
