About: I spent a lot of my childhood on a farm, playing and then working with all sorts of animals! I believe this is where my love started! I have cared for dogs and cats as personal pets my entire life, and have always had a love and respect for all animals. I enjoy spending as much of my personal time as possible with them. I have worked at and still often visit my local shelter just to spend time with and comfort the animals there, and I receive emotional support from them as well ;) I have a very flexible work (Real Estate) schedule and am available 24/7. Your pet's SAFETY during times with me is my most IMPORTANT GOAL and RULE! They will NEVER be unleashed. I love walks and visiting dog parks if that is something your pet would like. “I had a house/dog sitter lined up but the had a family emergency and bailed on 6 days before I was leaving town. After searching, begging, and panicking, I got a response for Shea who was on board with the work and timeframe! He was very communicative, sending me messages regularly and responding quickly. He kept in the loop about my pets (dog and hamsters). And, one of the most important factors for me, he was kind and enjoyed being with the animals. He has experience with dogs so knows how to work with them and my dog behaved well and listened to him. When we got back my dog was a little confused - this was the first time we had ever left her with another person so we knew that she would be and Shea hung out a few minutes and we talked about some of the many many things he does while we acclimated a bit. My dog has an abuse history but with Shea she wasn't jumpy at all, she was comfortable and felt safe - that alone was a huge sign to me - just seeing how she reacted after a week with him and she was happy, comfortable, and calm. Oh and he pointed out an owie she got while we were gone so we could get it taken care of. Thanks Shea! I highly recommend him to others looking for someone!”

About: Howdy Rover! Growing up, my family always had cats, cats for days, mom did not have the bandwidth for dog shenanigans. But I have been passionate about canine's from my earliest memories. I have been dogsitting and walking my grandparents dog as well as neighborhood dogs since I was 12. MY first dog, raised from 3 months, is the big handsome purebred German Shepherd seen in my profile photo. Koda was adopted from a breeder in 2020. He's very friendly and well trained. My roommate has another Gshep adopted from a shelter, and an Aussie Shep, so I'm used to VERY high energy and demanding dogs. That said, our home can't accommodate anymore furry friends, so I'm only available for housesitting and visits. Looking forward to meeting your furbabies! At this time my availability is completely open. I happily make this my full-time job if possible. I've been out of formal work for a year due to a slump in the job market. I will do my utmost to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and healthy. I'll evaluate potential hazards in the home before you leave, ensure all special instructions are understood and followed, and give you and your pet the best experience possible. I'll give them the same care and attention I would give to my own.

About: I grew up with so many animals around me! My mom has 3 cats and 2 dogs, and my dad has the opposite, 3 dogs and two cats. For a semester at college, I volunteered at a small cat adoption area where I would clean, play, and process cat adoptions. Even in college, my roommate had a service dog! I am on break from school, so I am available anytime within my break timeframe! I'll care for your dog the same way I would my own. Pet care is already part of my everyday life because of my own dog, Taco. He's super active, so walks and park trips are already part of my everyday routine. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, so dog walking and drop in visits fit naturally into my schedule. I'm available weekday afternoons and anytime on weekends. I always want dogs to feel safe and comfortable around me. On walks, I pay attention to their pace, surroundings, and anything that could stress them out. In a client's home, I follow their routine and make sure their dog feels relaxed and cared for. She gave our babies lots of attention, esp our dog who can be very hyperactive.
