“During the holidays I needed someone to help me take care of my pets, I felt so comfortable knowing that Jeanine was there to help me, not only she took great care of my pets she also made sure to send us pictures and communicate with us. Lana my dog always seems so happy in all of the pics! I have lots of trust on Jeanine (who indirectly took care of my house for the holidays as well) and definitely have her in speed dial in case of needing help.”
About: Hey there! I’m a local college student currently studying to become an RN, and I’m home for the summer bringing fresh energy and a genuine passion for pet care. I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember and grew up on a family farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, from horses and donkeys to our beloved dogs, cats, and everything in between! Over the years, I’ve helped walk and care for dogs for many different families, including first responders and nurses with long or unpredictable work hours. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable and caring looking after your pets! My flexible schedule allows me to provide dependable care tailored to your pet’s needs, and my active lifestyle means your dogs will get plenty of exercise, attention, and playful energy. I treat every animal like family and would love the opportunity to care for your furry friends! I am a senior college student at Biola University studying to get my bachelors in nursing. Currently, I am home for the summer looking to further my experience in the pet sitting business. My scheduling gives me lots of flexibility and opportunities to take care of your furry friends whenever possible. I am a very outdoorsy person and you will often find me outside enjoying sunshine by running or hiking with my dogs. Whether it’s a long walk or some playtime in the park, it’s a great way to keep your pets happy and healthy. I believe it is necessary to respect your home and maintain your pet's routine, including feeding schedules and favorite activities, to minimize stress. I send pictures and text updates ensuring you are well informed and aware of your pups activity. Additionally, I personalize each pet's playtime. Whether it’s extra cuddles for a shy pup or more active playtime for an energetic one, I know it is important for the well being and safety of each dog to be aware of their personal needs and preferences.
“Providing exceeding service (mentality) is impeccable! She’s been our go-to only for a few months, 1-2 weekly on/off but during this period, we made a lot of asks and she managed them all swiftly with extra care! I thank how you were raised and how you are embracing the embedded character because it is very noteworthy!!!!”

“Jill has been great with my 3 dogs. My youngest dog, Marley, was a little stand-offish at first. Jill was patient and was able to take him on his walks. They all enjoy getting out with Jill. She is responsive, flexible, and professional. I highly recommend Jill to take care of and walk your pets.”

“Amanda is wondering and our puppy approves! Amanda is great with dogs and our puppy is very excited to go on walks every time! Amanda is also very good at communicating and fast and responding so scheduling is never a problem! Highly recommend using her services :)”

“Karilou was great! Our 7-year-old hound mix Disney had never been walked by anyone but family before, but she liked Karilou right away. We got lots of photo updates from each walk and she even sent bonus pics of our kitty! We will absolutely ask her to walk Disney again!”

“We are absolutely thrilled with the exceptional care Lily provided for our beloved pup, Hazel! Lily's patience, kindness, and attention to detail made all the difference in Hazel's walks. She took her time, ensuring Hazel felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment. The detailed report card Lily provided after each walk was impressive, giving us a clear picture of Hazel's adventures. We're so grateful to have found Lily and can't wait to have her as our go-to for weekly walks. She truly is a dog lover's dream come true! Five paws up!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
