“We were really happy with our Rover experience with Kim and her family. I highly recommend her! Initially when I sent the Rover request for dog sitting she answered promptly and said yes immediately. Our transaction was smooth and I appreciate that. They treated our dogs very well, I could just tell from the texts and pics she sent daily. Their backyard is huge and I loved they have a dog door and other dogs for ours to play with.”

“Tracy is one of the best dog sitters I have encountered- thoughtful, kind, sends a picture update everyday and truly cares about your pet. My dogs loved her so much, they were a bit sad when I picked them up and they had to leave lol. Highly recommend 1000/10!”

“We recently used Rover for the first time, we were so nervous about leaving our dog with someone new. But Genny and her family completely blew us away! From the very start, they went above and beyond to make sure our pup was not only cared for but also spoiled with love and attention. Genny sent us regular updates with photos and videos, which really put us at ease. She took our dog on regular walks, did a treat scavenger hunt, and even captured the most adorable Christmas photos while he stayed with them over the holiday. We couldn’t recommend Genny and her family more. They turned what started as a nervous experience into one where we now feel completely comfortable leaving our pup in their care. We’re definitely planning to use them again in the future and are even considering daycare for days when we’re all out. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our fur baby!”

“Hanging out with Leslie was awesome. The other dogs, my buds were chill, fun to run with on walks, and there were lots of those. My Mom and Dad shared the great pictures Leslie sent, and they were stoked when I asked about hanging with Leslie again the next time they go away.”

“Lisa is a very caring and loving person who took amazing care of our pup when we recently went out of town. She was very commutative and sent lots of updates and pics which was great! I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking to board their dog and will definitely love to have her watch our Grace again!!”

“I was grateful for the family's communication, safety they created for Gracie, and how polite they were with drop off and pick up. Their dogs have so much personality too!”

“Alyssa was AMAZING with our Annie while we were up in SLC getting married!! We were able to focus on the final wedding details and had a phenomenal time, because we didn’t have to worry about Annie’s care. Her communication was consistent, and she sent photos of Annie to us all three days Annie was with her and her family. I will not hesitate to rebook with Alyssa every time we come to SLC with Anfield!”

“Ziggy had a great time with Valerie and Nicholas. My wife and I recently moved to SLC from the east coast and this past week was the first time we've traveled anywhere without our pup. We so appreciated Valerie and Nicholas's communication while we were away. They made sure Ziggy got time outside and exercise and lots of snuggles! We will definitely book with Valerie and Nicholas again next time we travel.”

“Mack had the best time with Leslie! We felt so comfortable leaving him and we loved all the photos and updates she sent us. Will definitely book with her again and recommend to anyone in need of a good sitter!”

“Vanessa was our first sitter experience with Rover and it was nothing short of great. She was very attentive and communicative about Lucy, as well as very accommodating for Lucy and her needs. She sent photos and kept up with daily updates / responded to any request for an update about Lucy. Overall great experience and would both recommend and hire Vanessa for any future dog sitting.”

“Truly wonderful caretakers. My normally nervous puppy was instantly calm and happy when David opened the door. He was truly caring, communicative, and flexible. He sent adorable pictures from their adventure to the park. I will definitely book them the next time!”

“Long, must read positive review: We have never left our Shih Tzu with anyone in her 8 wonderful years, but the time had come. We had a vacation she couldn't go on. We chose Ellesse from her great reviews, and they were spot on. We went to her house about a week prior, let our dog (Katniss) hang out for a while, check out the house and the fenced in yard, and get to bond with Ellesse. When we brought Katniss back to drop her off, her tail was wagging 100%, and ran right up to Ellesse. Ellesse has a great house, with a great and safe location. Ellesse is an extremely kind person, you know the second you meet her. Every day we got a text update, along with a picture. Katniss was with Ellesse for about 9 days. We were so excited to pick her up, and Ellesse was kind enough to offer a late night pick up after our flight arrived, rather than wait until the next day. Unfortunately that didn't work out, because of our delayed flight arriving at 3am. When we did pick her up early the next morning, Katniss was happy as ever, but after the initial excitement, she would keep 'saying hi' to Ellesse. We recommend Ellesse completely, and when the next unfortunate time comes up that we can take our Katniss, we will not hesitate in a second to use Ellesse again. Thanks Ellesse!!!”

“Jessica is the best! Gave our new puppy all the love and sent us all the pictures. Could not have had a better first-time experience with Rover. Thank you x a million Jessica!”

“What can I say? Tara was and is absolutely incredible! Not only did she accept my request for a sitter only a couple of days before my trip, but she was amazing while I was gone. My poor new puppy got an eye infection while I was gone and Tara went out of her way to take her to the vet and take extra special care of my dog. She continuously kept me updated throughout my trip with texts and sending plenty of pictures. I am so glad I went with someone so experienced and would a) request her again and most importantly, b), would recommend her in an instant!”

About: I’ve had pets ever since I was one. I’ve babysat family and neighbors pets before. I’ve taken care all kinds of pets! From birds, reptiles, cats and dogs and even some pigs and chickens lol. I am a stay at home wife so I can babysit any day of the week! I do go on hikes every Saturday though, so if you’re comfortable I could take your dog for a hike. I live an apartment that has a potty station, a balcony, and even a bathing station. And there is plenty of room for walks here.

About: From working at animal shelters, doggy daycare/boarding facilities, to working as a vet tech/oncology vet tech, I have been working to create a life of making sure that all pets have the happiest and healthiest life that they can! I am able to give your pet the care they need, whether that be administering medications, tiring out a high energy dog, or just making sure that your cat feels safe and comfortable when they're around me. Getting to work with animals has been a big part of my life that has brought me joy and I pride myself on being as patient and compassionate as I need to be to help them stay happy. There isn't a better feeling than getting a nervous pup to warm up enough to want to sit with me, or getting a spicy kitty to be comfortable enough to give me head-butts and licks. I can guarantee you that if you decide to bring me into your pets life, they will be shown as much love as you give them on a daily basis! I am currently home all day and would like to spend that time with your pet! My goal is to be more active and there is no better way to do that in my eyes than playing with animals. I have an open schedule and am willing to work with yours as long as there is clear communication and instructions given! I come prepared no matter the situation and bring an extra leash plus a variety of high enrichment treats. My goal is to always ensure that the pet is comfortable and trusting of me and I will always go at their pace. I am familiar with most harness types and have experience with training animals if that is something you want me to work with them on. I can give medications to both dogs and cats including, pills, liquids or injections. I am skilled in understanding animal body language and behavior and know tips and tricks on how to help keep them at ease. I also understand that I will be coming into their comfort place, so I will ensure that I am as respectful of their boundaries as I can be.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up watching neighbors’ and friends’ pups, and in college I’d care for classmates’ dogs and puppies when they went home for long weekends. I’m an experienced dog walker and have even helped care for service dogs in training. Walking and dogs are my favorite combo, so I’m always excited to give your pup the best time ever! :) I’m an early riser and get off from work early the next couple of months. So whether your pup needs a 6am walk or a 3pm afternoon stroll, I’ll be there! I live alone in an open 1 bedroom apartment and access to long walks in the avenues or the local parks are just steps away from my door.
