About: I am an experienced pet sitter with both personal and professional experience with animals of all species, temperaments, age, and health status. I have multiple years of experience in both emergency and general practice clinics and am thus confident in my ability to handle pets, distribute medication as needed, and recognize and respond to emergencies. About: We lost our beloved dog "Chester" in 2022 and our home has felt empty ever since. Both my husband & I have grown up with dogs & we loved playing, walking and cuddling w/Chester. The unconditional love he provided to our family was priceless. My husband & I are empty nesters as of last fall, 2023 & we are available to care and watch your dog on a weekday or weekend.. Your dog will be loved in our home as much as it is in your home. We will thoroughly enjoy spoiling it like it is our own pet! We live downtown Des Moines & will be able to walk your dog regularly to near by parks/Grays Lake. I like to know what the sleep/feeding schedule of your dog is, as well as any tricks they know, the time between bathroom breaks, and how the interact with other dogs.

About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.

I am a behavior analyst with some background in animal behavior, and very much enjoy being around pets! I have lived with and helped care for dogs, cats, rats, and small lizards in the past.
