About: Hi! I’m a reliable and patient pet sitter with experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities—from super social and playful to more independent or shy. I understand that cats thrive on routine and a calm environment, so I always take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and boundaries. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers their space, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m experienced with: • Feeding routines and fresh water care • Litter box cleaning and maintenance • Playtime and enrichment (when they want it!) • Giving space to more reserved or anxious cats • Monitoring behavior and overall well-being I’m very detail-oriented and will make sure everything is done exactly how you prefer. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is doing well. I do work full-time as an accountant, but my schedule is very flexible in how I structure my days around watching and caring your animals and their needs! I have a fenced in backyard where my dogs can play and relax without the worry of a leash or harness, and they have free roam of my home
About: Born and raised a dog lover! I’ve have 5 dogs throughout my life that I have loved so dearly. I’ve grown up taking care of my friend’s dogs in HS and college. I love to go on walks, so why not bring your pup with me! I unfortunately do not have my own dog at this time with my significant other, but I hope to get one soon! I am a teacher who is taking a small step back in education to focus on my health. I know your dogs will help me A LOT during this transition, and they will be under great care. I currently live in an apartment in Des Moines, so I am also available for drop-ins to ensure your pup is comfortable at home! I am willing to travel to different to parts of the metro to help you and your pup!

About: I’ve taken care of all pets for my family, immediate and extended, for the past 15 years! Within the last 2, I’ve adopted my own border collie, Pebble. I’ve gone through multiple training centers with a high energy, high anxiety herding dog to give her a job and help me understand her needs better. I grew up with breeds that were family oriented, and hadn’t realized the special world of working dogs. On this journey I’ve come to sympathize with the frustrations we face trying to find care for our very, very particular fur-babies. I have come to be a resource for those within my community that have dogs just like my own, and need a different level of care when finding a sitter. I hope that my experience with outgoing family dogs, and those with higher maintenance can be a resource for you as well. I’ve just completed a Bachelors of Science in Biology, and I’m interviewing for Doctorate of Pharmacy programs currently. I am looking for purpose this summer, and knew that being a trustworthy resource for fellow pet owners would benefit both parties. In this heat, I currently walk my own dog three times daily and play frisbee morning and evening when it cools off a bit to work out that energy. I have dog training every Thursday at 6:00 PM to continue to do better for her and the pets I watch. I am mostly open throughout the day to be available as needed. I provide a calm, structured, and attentive environment tailored to each pet’s routine and personality. I prioritize safety by closely monitoring pets during walks, feeding, play, and rest, while following all owner instructions regarding medications, training, and behavioral needs. I keep spaces clean, secure, and free of hazards, and I pay close attention to stress signals or changes in behavior. My continued training classes for my own dog has strengthened my ability to remain patient, detail-oriented, and responsive to each animal’s individual needs.
About: I have had or have been taking care of dogs for the last 15 years. I have experience walking, playing with, feeding, limited training, and giving medication to a wide variety of dogs of all sizes I am a recent college graduate and starting graduate school in the fall. I have a pretty open and flexible schedule to take care of your pet needs. While it is nice outside I live to take pets outside and lay them get their energy out with a good okay whether that be on a walk or in a backyard
“Drew is wonderful!! So accommodating with my schedule, where my dog will be day-to-day, and super sweet with Yukon! Responsive, responsible, and friendly. Highly recommend!!”

I love caring for animals and can’t wait to help you with yours. I am experienced with animals- puppies to elderly dogs, kittens to elderly cats. Every pet is different and I will work with you to ensure they are getting what they need from me, walks, pets or play.
About: Caring for people and pets comes naturally to me. I worked in nursing for several years before leaving to care for my father full time.between that and being a mom giving love and care comes easy. I have 3 dogs of my own, all of which are friendly and love a bit of play time. I am a big believer in fresh air and exercise. Let's get those steps in for your 4 legged family member. I don't work a regular job, I care for my elderly father and do some side work here and there. So I am available for walking or drop in visits at a moments notice. I have a fenced in yard and food and treats at the ready. Many leashes and brushes and more. I have 3 dogs of my own that love to play with each other and yours too. I can also keep my dogs away if yours isn't socialized to others.
About: Been a life long pet lover for years. Have taken care of family and friends pets since I was little. Pets deserve more than just a sitter I am currently looking for a part time job!! They also have 2 cats that I care for. They always ask me too take care of them!!
About: I have had dogs since the moment I was born and worked as a vet assistant for almost 3 years during my undergraduate years. I have experience with all sizes of dogs- and temperaments. I can administer medications as well! I currently work full-time but have flexibility to stop by during my lunch break to let pets out, give them fresh water, or go for a quick walk. This means your pet doesn’t have to wait all day until you get home! When I care for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal as possible. I: Follow your pet’s usual feeding, walk, and medication schedule. Offer potty breaks or walks (including during my lunch break if mid-day care is needed). Spend quality time playing, brushing, or just keeping them company. Make sure the home stays secure by locking doors, bringing in mail, etc. Share updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“Kal was amazing. Their warmth for animals is wildly understated. They knew all the things to do to get my boy to be more cooperative and sweet. Kal was reliable and intuitive - both incredibly important when working with temperamental little pups. Kal will be my first choice on Rover next time.”

“Katie took very good care of Winston on his walk and sent a lot of pictures. She went above and beyond to meet him ahead of time and learn the specifics about him. Thanks Katie :)”

“Troy was absolutely amazing with my small dog Luca. Provided a ton of photos, a fabulous update that gave me all the details, and was so warm and loving to my fur baby.”

Madi has been such a blessing!! I’m new to the area and didn’t have anyone I trusted with Mila as she can be reactive, but after reading Madi’s bio and seeing her interact with Mila during the meet and greet, I knew it would be a great fit! Very responsive, super friendly, and Mila absolutely loves her 😊
