About: I had my own dog for 15 years and spend lots of time training him, walking him, and learning to care for him on a daily basis. We got him when he was very young and he loved to an old age for a lab, so I have experience with both young and old dogs. I don’t currently have any pets as I am a college student, but I have experience caring for pets in the past. I can follow instructions easily and am very responsible when it comes to caring for animals. I make sure to keep the environment calm and peaceful as I know some animals can get scared when around unfamiliar people or in an unfamiliar place. I love to pet animals and show them affection, but also give them their own space when it is needed. I love to play with more energetic animals and take them for walks/runs, but for more sedentary animals I make it a priority to let them chill and keep an eye on them in case any needs arise.

My wife and I have been married for nearly 40 years, and throughout that time we've shared our home with three wonderful dogs—a Keeshond who lived to 15, a Border Terrier who also lived to 15, and our current French Bulldog, Bella, who is 8 years old. Bella has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), so I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, following care routines, and recognizing when a dog needs a little extra attention. Caring for her has given me firsthand experience with dogs that have special health needs and reinforced the value of consistency and compassion. After retiring early from a successful career in information technology leadership, I'm excited to spend more time doing something I genuinely enjoy—helping dogs stay happy, healthy, and active while giving their owners peace of mind. Whether your dog needs a leisurely stroll, an energetic walk, or simply a dependable companion while you're at work, I'll treat them with the same care and respect I give my own. I'm dependable, punctual, cheerful, and an excellent communicator. I'm also very comfortable with technology, so I'm happy to send photo updates and messages during our walks so you can see how your pup is doing. I know how much our dogs mean to us—they're family. Since I'm retired, I have the flexibility to dedicate my weekdays to caring for dogs. I'm available throughout the day until 6:00 p.m. for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and companionship, making me a great fit for busy professionals who want their dogs to get exercise and attention while they're at work. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I don’t have professional dog-walking experience, I’ve cared for family dogs for many years and am comfortable with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love spending time with animals. About: I’ve been a cat enthusiast since birth, and always had a few family dogs. Growing up as a kid my family did a lot of pet sitting for friends, family,and neighbors. About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. I will take the best care of your pet and love it like my very own. Hope to hear from you soon. I'm available for house sitting on weekends and some week nights just ask me. Availability for pet care all week depending on the hours needed. I always accompany pets when they are outside even in a fenced in yard. I take short or long walks depending on what is requested.

About: I’ve been fostering adult dogs for the ARL for the last few years and have had so much fun getting to learn about a variety of breeds, personalities and behaviors. I’ve also had many pets throughout my life, including my current fur babies Raven (dog) and Lilo (cat). I’m currently working as a freelancer and am available throughout the day. I do participate in recreational sports on some evenings, otherwise I can be very flexible! I love to be outside and enjoy nothing more than letting dogs unwind on a long walk. I’m also happy to play fetch or tug, go to a nearby park or engage in whatever style of play your pup prefers.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. That’s a long time! I assure you your dog would be in good hands! I will love them like they were mine! I stay home now so I’m available pretty much anytime. I’m willing to go to your home if it’s not to far away. Just ask I’m sure we can work something out. I have a fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs. One has a crate and one doesn’t. They both sleep where they want. I crate one only sometimes.

About: I genuinely care about the well being of every dog in my care. I will treat every dog as if it was my own, which means lots of treats(if allowed) and lots of pets, belly scratches and cuddles(if tolerated). I am currently working part-time and healing. Unfortunately financially I need more income so I thought “why not try Rover and spend some time with dogs(which I love doing!)”. So ultimately I will make this fit into my schedule where I can. I’m pretty flexible currently. Give me a chance and I promise you won’t be disappointed. I ask clients to leave detailed instructions. I want to make sure that while you are gone your dogs/cats routine stays as close to normal as possible! If that means your dog goes to paws n pints for a play date on Wednesday @2 then I’ll load up lassie in the car and get there! If your cat gets 3 treats at 3pm everyday then we will make it happen! All joking aside, I aim to please!

I’ve been working with animals professionally for 6 years, and in my time have done grooming, boarding, daycare, training, rescue, you name it! I always monitor fence safety for escape artists/jumpers, and use a double lead system when walking to avoid any possible break aways! I have experience with reactive/aggressive dogs as well.

About: My whole life I have been surrounded by Dogs. From taking care of my own and my Grandmother's furry companions, I love being with Dogs of all sizes and energy levels. From Dogs who bounce off the walls, to those who would rather take a nap, I am up for any Dog personality. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as young ones. I am able to give medication to your furry friends, if they need it. I am available days and nights throughout the summer. I am also flexible to provide daily potty breaks for your dogs.
