“Allison took care of our two small dogs for a week. I can’t say enough how amazing she was. Our little Morkie jumped off the bed and injured his shoulder (of course when we were out of the country). Allison was right on it! She let me know what happened and kept me updated continuously. When he didn’t get better, Allison took him to our vet. She updated me several times per day and started him on his anti-inflammatory medication right away. I hated being away when our little buddy was injured but Allison took great care of him, updated me often and was so empathetic and made me feel confident that he was being taken care of so well. 10/10 recommend! About: I started in the veterinary field at the age of 15 as a kennel technician and cross trained in the clinic as a veterinary assistant. I then went to school for animal/veterinary science and graduated with valuable skills and education. After school I went into zookeeping where i cared for a variety of taxa including but not limited to carnivores and hoofed animals. After leaving the field and changing careers, I became a foster home for Oh My Dog Rescue based in the Des Moines IA area. As a Retail Manager my schedule is not consistent however I guarantee that I will check on your animals a minimum of twice per day unless otherwise agreed upon. I do best house/petsitting for clients who leave detailed instructions and emergency contacts. I bring structure and high quality care to the table in every home I enter.
