“Jessica was great! We were out of town 4 nights, and then our flight got delayed and she was able to adjust her schedule to stay a 5th night to take care of our dog. She sent photos and updates at least twice a day and I felt better knowing I had someone here at our house to care for our dog (instead of boarding him). Our dog has some anxiety and allergy issues and she took care of all his meds and gave him lots of love and cuddles. About: I started in the veterinary field at the age of 15 as a kennel technician and cross trained in the clinic as a veterinary assistant. I then went to school for animal/veterinary science and graduated with valuable skills and education. After school I went into zookeeping where i cared for a variety of taxa including but not limited to carnivores and hoofed animals. After leaving the field and changing careers, I became a foster home for Oh My Dog Rescue based in the Des Moines IA area. As a Retail Manager my schedule is not consistent however I guarantee that I will check on your animals a minimum of twice per day unless otherwise agreed upon. I do best house/petsitting for clients who leave detailed instructions and emergency contacts. I bring structure and high quality care to the table in every home I enter.

“Zoe was amazing! We were getting married on NYE 2022 and we had a dog sitter cancel on us a few days before our big night. In a panic we signed up for Rover, found Zoe and she was a life saver. She came over and met with us and Jackson two days before our wedding night. She followed all of our instructions, checked in with us via text when she got to our house on NYE and sent a few pictures during her stay and based on those pictures her and Jackson became best friends. About: I have been dog and cat-sitting for others for a long time. I'm willing to be patient with pets because I have a reactive dog that requires lots of training and patience. The most important thing for caring for a pet is to make them feel loved and comfortable, and that's what I can bring to them! I work full-time, so I am only available on the weekends. I love spending time with animals, so why not fill my extra time taking care of them! I have two dogs that don't get along well with other pets very well, so I will strictly care for clients pets in their home. I am a neat person, and I'm good at following instructions. I'm willing to care for pets in any way necessary. Pets often feel most comfortable when they have a routine with their owners and I am willing to conform to that routine as much as I can.
