About: Hi! I’m Eryn-your dogs new favorite walking buddy! I’m a lifelong dog lover who genuinely enjoys staying active, so long walks, playtime, and keeping up with energetic pups are right up my alley. Whether your dog is big, small, shy, or super playful, I’m confident and calm handling all kinds of temperments-even those who might come off a little strong at first. I’m strong enough to manage large breeds and gentle enough to make even nervous dogs feel safe and loved. You can count on me to treat your pet like family, giving them the attention, exercise, and care they deserve! I’m currently a college student and offer dog walking services full-time during my seasonal breaks-Summer and Winter. During those times, I’m have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for walks, drop ins, or longer visits. I’m naturally nurturing and attentive to every pets needs-whether it’s making sure they’re fed on time, responding to cues when they need to go out, or simply giving them affection and companionship. I stay aware of each dogs body language and behavior to ensure they feel safe, secure, and cared for at all times. You can trust that I’ll treat your pet with the same love and attention id give my own :)

I love walking and will gladly take dogs on walks around your neighborhood. I have hit 10 miles a day, so don't worry about me tiring out!
About: I have loved animals my entire life. I currently have 7 dogs and 1 cat of my own and foster frequently. I volunteer yearly at an animal sanctuary in UT. I transport dogs and cats for rescues. I have participated in many dog/puppy training classes and would continue any training programs for you while your baby is in my care. I will dispense medications and follow any medical instructions necessary. I am currently retired and love to hike and walk. I have an open schedule in the mornings and afternoons 7 days a week to care for your fur babies. I’m sure they would love to join me on a walk or hike. I have 7 dog friendly dogs that romp at my 2 acre property. My home is often referred to by friends as “Fran’s Dog Park” as visiting dogs are always welcomed. My two cats have learned to tolerate the dog infestation
About: I have experience with pet sitting, walking, and drop in visits. I am looking forward to hearing the needs of your fur baby to have them enjoy their time to the max! I have free time to care for your pet as I work from home and my family is prepared and ready to help when needed! We have space for your pet to enjoy and share our home. We have places and a bed they can go to relax and we love to take them out to play and sniff around in the yard.
About: I have experience walking and caring for dogs from 6 months to 7 years. I own two dogs and have been around animals my entire life. I have worked with small dogs to medium-sized dogs. I have a passion for dogs and walking them. I am home from college for the summer so I have a pretty open schedule. I will be home until August but will be unavailable one week in July. I am flexible and open. In the summer, my family and I stay at Witch Meadow Lake Campground. The campground has a dog walking trail. Last summer at the campground I was a primary walker and sitter for two dachshunds (6 and 18 months) and would walk and puppy-sit for hours to a day at a time. I also cared for a medium-sized dog who was very shy at first but I was able to get her to trust me with patience. Our main house is in East Lyme and has a friendly neighborhood to walk in. I follow the owners instructions and am very responsible. The dogs I care for love walking on the trail at the campground and being outside. When on my site, we put my own dogs inside or on another site or leave them out depending on what the client believes will be best for their dog. In a client’s home or neighborhood, I follow instructions and any directions the owner gives me.

“Darcy is great with my 2 girls! On nights when I work late it's awesome to get some cute pics during the middle of the day letting me know they got out and had some fresh air. I could tell immediately she was a true dog lover! Very quick to answer any messages I send, checks they have water before she leaves, and always sends me a report of what they did that day as well as multiple pictures ☺ thank you so much Darcy!”

I currently have a 1 year old Shih-Poo named Mocha who loves meeting other dogs. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own. Your dogs will enjoy long walks outside, fetch, and head scratches they could only wish for. I am the responsible, caring, and energetic dog lover that you can trust your pets with. Oh and you want cute pictures of your happy pets while you're away. No worries I got you! Any other questions just send me a message! I can't wait to meet you and your puppers! I currently work full time but I have a flexible schedule. This allows for day time walks or check ins on your home. Additionally if we have your pup over the weekend we will ensure we are home. We have a large yard and live on a quiet street. In our home we have lots of space and can crate your pup if needed.
“Trish (Patricia) is wonderful. Her communication is great and her love for animals is apparent. I know my pepper is in good hands. I’m so glad I found her. I highly recommend Trish for your pet needs.”

About: I treat every pet as if they were my own. I take time to learn their routine, personality, and what makes them comfortable. I’m very dependable and I know how important communication is, I’m happy to send photo updates during visits so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’ve had animals in my life since I was five years old and have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years. I’ve always had my own dogs and cats. I’m very comfortable with different personalities and care routines. In my thirties I also worked with dog rescues, helping care for and support dogs in transition. While I stepped back from rescue work when my daughter was young, my love of animals has always remained a big part of my life. Because of this background, I’m very patient and attentive and understand that every pet has their own temperament and needs. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. Because I keep my schedule manageable, I’m able to be reliable and consistent with visits, walks, feeding times, and playtime. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets individual attention and care. I’m happy to work with owners to accommodate their pet’s normal routine and can often be flexible with scheduling when needed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel secure and cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both your pet’s routine and your home. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure during walks and outdoor time, and I closely supervise pets to keep them safe. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, and energy levels and will contact you right away if anything seems unusual. I’m happy to follow any detailed instructions you provide—feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, or special care. I also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. Having had animals my entire life and experience working with rescues, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for a beloved pet.

About: Hi! I’m a full-time therapist and lifelong animal lover. I have two dogs of my own who are currently training to become therapy dogs, so I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions. I love spending time with animals and have cared for and pet sat for friends’ pets many times over the years. I’d love to help keep your pet (dog or cat) happy, safe, and well cared for! My full-time work schedule varies from week to week, which allows me flexibility in my availability. Depending on the day, I can often accommodate walks and visits in the early morning, mid-afternoon, or late evening. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs and will communicate clearly about my availability to ensure reliable care for your pet. I care for pets in their own environment where they feel most comfortable. I follow all care instructions closely, maintain their routine, provide plenty of affection and exercise, and keep owners updated with photos and messages. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.
About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. I’ve had 1 bird, 1 ferret, 5 cats, and 6 dogs. I’ve trained 2 Dogs to obey basic commands and good potty habits. Im available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. I work from home on Friday and I don’t work the weekends at all. I can also be flexible during week days as needed. I take my dogs for walks every 3 hours or at their request. We play fetch and tug-o-war in my backyard. My basement is a complete doggy daycare.

About: I've worked in the pet industry for 10 years as a boarding and washing attendant at a Veterinary clinic and as a Supervisor at a pet store in California called Kahoots Pet Store. I've befriended puppies to senior doggies to kitties and more and I've received lots of handling experience from these jobs. I've watched many friend's and family's animals over years. I love animals and have 3 cats of my own along with 3 leopard geckos and a Mexican black king snake! Im currently working part time so I'll have lots of time to hang out with your pups or kitties. I have pretty open availability as far walking or house sitting is concerned. I can take your pups out into the backyard and play with them as long as it's fenced or we can go out for leashed walks. If the kitties are comfortable with me around them I'd love to play with them but I won't push their comfort zone if that's not something they want. We'll coexist in the same space peacefully.
“Sara has been incredible with our dogs. There are three of them, all big, two with substantial anxiety, and none of them is really leash trained. In other words, they're a handful. We have been floored by Sara's insight, skill, patience, and warmth. She has charmed our dogs and left us feeling confident that they are in capable, kind hands. Sara is the first non-family member we have trusted to care for our dogs, and we are so grateful to be working with her.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so it does not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! She allowed me to eat lunch there so of course I’d always ensure the kitchen was clean and the way I found it. My aunt’s sister’s cavapoo loved fetch, although I think she had ADHD like me, but I always got her to refocus! I also used to bathe my mother’s rag doll cat Dory every now and then and I would help trim minor mats in her fur. Even my photographer’s cat sat in my lap randomly during our meeting when she had to step away for a call! Growing up, I often took care of family and friends’ cats and dogs, playing fetch with them, and of course, playing music for them. I usually help my mom trim my cat’s nails. Growing up around my friend’s horses, I’ve always had a connection with animals. I always tell people, I sold my first CD because a German shepherd fell in love with it, and wouldn’t let his owners continue walking until he heard the end of the song. (I play acoustic guitar, piano, and sing). We taught my friend’s Dobermans how to sing, and made sure he didn’t eat anything he wasn’t supposed to as he was a troublemaker! We also always took my dogs to nice restaurants and kept them well-mannered and quiet. Outside of pet sitting, I enjoy walks in nature, going out to eat, teaching music lessons in the evenings, and watching comedies. My cat’s latest hobbies include watching the birds, and he apparently likes the music channels as he cries when I turn them off. On Sundays I often visit my boyfriend’s mom’s German Shepherd, Bruno. His hearing is sensitive (even reactive to splashing in the pool!) so we make sure to approach him very gently and warmly, and he loves fetch and “chase the ball!” I also am used to visiting people’s homes, both when I was a case manager as well as an independent music instructor. Outside of work, I very much enjoy meditation, reading about nutrition, writing music, yoga, and painting. My cat Fin Fin also loves to try to help me paint, often nearly dipping his whiskers in as he says hello! Nowadays we tend to simply cuddle on the couch. If you choose me for your pet’s care, I intend to give them an amazing experience per your expectations and frequent photo check-ins, just like our pet sitter did for us. I’m very adaptable and have flexible availability, just ask! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
