2. Madelyn E.
“Molly has severe separation anxiety and can’t be left alone, which limits what we can do during the week. We have been looking for someone to watch her regularly for church on Sundays though and I’m so glad we found Madelyn! We drop Molly off in the morning and pick her up a few hours later and we know she’s in good hands. Madelyn provides prompt communication and takes good care of our girl!”
3. Nastia S.
“What a great find! We needed to leave our dog while we visited the Mystic aquarium. Nastia was close by with easy drop off and pickup; had great communication before and during, showed us photos of how our dog was doing, played with him outside and got cozy with him inside… the perfect sitter!!!”

7. Terry S.
“My dog and I both got very lucky finding Terry immediately after moving to Connecticut. She’s incredibly kind and caring towards my special needs pup, and always considers his comfort and requirements. Her communication with me is also excellent, asking for any updates each morning and giving great reports at the end of the day. I highly recommend her.”
8. Erica & Thomas C.
“Had to find a sitter for our pup on last minute and Erica gladly accepted our request! The family was great, our puppy sure had tons of fun hanging out with them. They sent pictures and updates of how it was going, Willow slept the whole ride home and surely had an exciting day. Would definitely use them again and recommend booking them! ♥️”
9. Nina K.
About: I grew up around cats and dogs within my own home, other family members houses, & friends. We had a cat of our own until last year when we moved out of CT for a short time and had to sadly re-home him. He’s missed very much! I’ve also house sat pets and walked friends dogs as well. I work part time so I have a lot free time on my hands which makes me very flexible at all hours and time during the week! I care for pets as if they are my own. With all the love and fun that they can take whether they are in my home or I am in theirs!
10. Mary Jo M.
“Mary Jo watched my dog and my sister’s (both anxious seniors) over the holiday weekend for daycare. We gave her weird hours and she accommodated us regardless, despite having little ones of her own. Drop off and pick up process was quick. It was late when we picked up so when a steel bowl was left behind she mailed it back, which we appreciated a lot. We trust her experience with dogs and are so happy the fur babies were safe and sound while we were away!”
11. Tina B.
“Tina took care of our special needs, anxious, senior shih tzu last night while we attended a UCONN women's basketball game at Mohegan Sun. TINA IS AWESOME! She is so caring and attentive to our pup, flexible and easy to work with, and keeps us posted on how things are going. We are so grateful to have found Tina and highly recommend her for your pet care needs.”
12. Bethany H.
“Our labradoodle Bella loved spending the day with Bethany, her adorable son, and Ferbie! Bethany was easy to communicate with and kept me updated that Bella was having a great day! We will definitely be using her for all our doggy daycare needs! ♥️”
13. Joe B.
“Joe and Kelly are very caring and loving pet owners. In addition to raising their two year old, they always make sure their 5 year old puppy, Governor, is just as loved and looked after. They make time in their lives to also always watch neighbors or friends dogs and create playdates for Gov, so they have great experience in looking after other pets. They are the best pick for a Rover sitter and will make sure your pet has the best time. They are also attentive to the needs of each animal and know how to give each animal what they need.”

About: IG @lauralovesyourdog We love animals! Energetic young humans and 6 year old pug will play with your dog until we collapse! We have a large unfenced yard with lots of sniffing and exploring space. The yard is regularly treated by Tick Ranger (organic and pet-safe tick spraying). Our space for overnight is a large room- crated or uncrated, or are welcome to sleep in the human bed of their choice. Dogs are welcome throughout the first floor during the day. Your dog will feel completely at home at my house or yours! We walk, play and hug. Grooming services unavailable. Unfortunately we can not take pit bulls, pit bull mixes, or border terriers. I am also a caring and experienced cat owner/ caretaker! We have 3 cats of our own (our 17 year old angel Maddy went to the Heaviside Layer June 2021💙) and will care for your cat in your home or ours. Dependable loving care always! And if that wasn’t enough I am also very comfortable feeding/ handling and caring for small reptiles including snakes. We have had our Herman’s tortoise Shelly Clarkson for 2 years and love her to death! Available most days- flexible schedule and I keep my Rover calendar updated. About me: 42 year old single mom, works occasionally as a stage manager and at The Place in Guilford. We hope to care for your furry family soon! *Please note I do have 2 kids (ages 9 and 5). Both kids are very aware and cautious in how to approach new animals but if your dog is not 100% comfortable with kids we are not the sitters for you. Thank you! I build my schedule around my clients. We like to keep a predictable routine for our guests. I am home most of the day most days! We have a partially fenced yard and all guests stay leashed and well supervised while out! Our pug Winston loves to play and snuggle with our guests. My other part- time jobs are seasonal so I am home and available most days November through May. When my seasonal jobs are active I still am able to take 2-3 clients visits a day around them! I am very good with animals and have very very rarely met one that wasn’t interested in being my friend. All of my repeat clients are always very happy to see me! 🥰 I am always cautious and respectful of your pets’ space and yours and always will leave your house cleaner than I found it! I go above and beyond to make sure your pets’ routine is disturbed as little as possible while you are gone and I make sure they are given extra affection (if they want it!) I will not hesitate to obtain emergency care (with your permission) if your pet needs it.
15. Vanessa W.
“Vanessa has taken my dogs on many walks and hikes. She is very caring and appears to have a great command of her abilities to handle different types of dogs. She has also walked other friends and coworkers dogs and they too seem to have enjoyed having vanessa take care of their pets. Vanessa has also done some grooming and have been satisfied with her work.”
16. Francis E.
“Francis is just the best dog walker ever! I took a chance because she was new to Rover but it was the best thing hung I ever did! She is super sweet with my Jack Russell / Chihuahua, who can be very barky and scary. But Francis was incredibly calm and so attentive to every need of my dog. She is prompt and is a great communicator and I just couldn’t ask for anyone better! My dog can’t wait to see her now, and gets all excited when she shows up!”
17. Ali H.
“Maya was very comfortable with Ali the minute they met and I felt comfortable leaving her in Ali's care. She was relaxed and happy when we picked her up. We will definitely try Ali first when in the area again!”
18. emma r.
“Emma is one of the best dog walkers we have worked with. We have reached out to her multiple times now at short notice, and she always manages to find time for us. She quickly became a BFF with our champ and we trust her the most to watch him while we are out. I would definitely recommend Emma.”

About: I have had 3 rescues of my own, all from different sectors of the US, different backgrounds, ages and breeds. I truly wouldnt be who I am today without my furbabies. I have raised my youngest from a few months old as well as provided senior care and sick care to my oldest. My goal is to give every dog the same amount of love I give my dogs. I am familiar with aggressive dogs, bigger dogs, dogs who don’t love leashes and dogs that need special attention. I'm very patient and would love to help care for your dog. This is because I understand the struggle to look for a trusted sitter, especially when life and the unexpected happens. I want you to leave knowing that your dog is in safe hands and will get the love they always deserve! If your dog needs some fun activity, needs a friend on the couch, or just wants a lot of belly rubs and snuggles then you can count on me! I have recently made a career change for the time being. Which allows for my schedule to be far less hectic as I begin to follow my dreams of owning an animal rescue and adoption center one day. Even with my work schedule, I can adjust my schedule to match yours as close or exact as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out. My babies have their own little home/crate they are in while we are not home. As soon as we are home, they have our entire finished lower level to run around and play as well as our back yard. While caring at clients home I have similar care protocols as well as having fenced in yards and/or runners they can play on. Whatever care you need, you can trust me to follow.
20. Rebekah S.
“I work with Becky at a private school where she is the most caring and nurturing person. She greets all students, parents, and guests with such care. In fact, a month ago the person I was meeting with said she was the most welcoming person at a school he'd ever come in contact with (as he had to wait a bit for our meeting). Becky is personable and easygoing but can be serious and get the job done. Her attitude is positive and infectious. You will love having her care for your pets. At our school in the summer, we bring our pets to school and she loves getting love from them. She'll invite them over and give them love for as long as time will allow. All in all, Becky is the best :)”
