“Lindsay was such a good sitter for my little yorkie boy, Monty Banks! Super caring and attentive, making sure he was happy!! I explained that he is ALWAYS with me and may not be very engaging and just miss his mama, but she took him for an awesome walk and kept him busy and he even snuggled a bit. The photos were so cute and made me feel safe, as this is only our second time using Rover…what a great experience!! I was visiting wine country for a girls trip and decided last minute to grab a mud bath…so happy to have someone so special to puppy sit!!!”

5. Deborah B.
“I've known Deborah for over 40 years. We became close friends when we both worked at a private high school in San Diego. After Deborah moved to Santa Rosa we maintained our close friendship. We visit each other often and have taken many trips together. I can say without reservation that she is one of the kindest, most caring, honest, responsible, and hardworking people I have ever known in my life. She has an easy-going way with people and animals, she is very physical with activities such as hiking, biking, and walking, and is playful in ways that draws people and animals to her. She also has an extremely kind heart and is sensitive to the needs and feelings of everyone around her. I would (and do) trust her with my life. Feel free to write me an email if you need or would like any more information about this lovely person.”
6. Lily H.
“Lily is wonderful with pets of all shapes and sizes! She has taken care of my 50+ lb shepard mix several times and they always have a blast whether it be on long walks or movie cuddle sessions. Lily has two pets of her own, both a cat and dog, and she's extremely attentive to their individual needs and welcomes the opportunity to do the same with your "fur baby". Her warm and bubbly personality is simply the cherry on top. I highly recommend her and will continue to hire her whenever I need someone caring and professional.”

About: As a kid in school my fun fact was always that I had 26 pets. We had chickens, ducks, a dog, cats, birds, and bunny rabbits! I probably spent more time with animals than people. I cannot provide any training services but will treat your pets with the utmost of love, care, and attention. I grew up in St. Helena, and moved back after graduating college. I recently quit my full-time job at a psychiatric facility and will be going to grad school (MFT program) in the fall. I will be fully available to care for your pets for the rest of this spring and summer! I am currently unable to board pets at my house. In caring for pets at a client’s home, I can engage them in play, walks several times a day, and lots of love!

“Sarah is dependable and caring and will take care of your pet like if it was her own. I would highly recomend Sarah to watch your personal pet.”
12. Gary R.
“Hello Rover, I was with Gary when we went to the animal shelter looking at dogs and was surprised when he picked a minpin senior estimated at about 10 years old at the time. He took excellent care of Spike who enjoyed at least 6 more years of loving care and walks everyday. As he got older Spike you could tell Spike loved being outside but not able to walk as far. Gary would walk Spike a little bit slower and then carried him the rest of the way when Spike got tired. I would let Gary watch my dog anytime and trust they would receive the best care.”
13. Jordan M.
“Jordan was so friendly and great with Lucy! She’s a big girl and can be a little obnoxious at times but Jordan was not even phased and had Lucy in love with her by the time our first meeting ended. On their first walk, she sent pictures and updates which were most appreciated. I’m sure Lucy will be ecstatic to see Jordan on Friday for their next walk :)”
14. Miranda K.
“Miranda took care of my two pups in our house while we were out of town for a week and couldn’t have done a better job. We have an older dog that requires seizure medication twice daily, as well as an energetic 1 year old puppy, and she did an excellent job with both. We got frequent pictures/video updates of lots of playtime, walks, and cuddles. When she saw the dogs again after dogsitting they practically tumbled over themselves to get to her to say hi. I wholeheartedly recommend her and will absolutely be using Miranda to dogsit whenever she’s available in the future.”
15. Ashley A.
“It is very easy for me to write a testimonial for Ashley. I have known her for almost six years and have found her to be a very compassionate and loving person. She currently has two cats, George and Charlie, and recently lost her cute little dog, Juju that she loved very much. She is very caring and attentive to her pets and others, including my Paco that she has watched, for me, several times. I know she will be an excellent pet sitter for other people’s pets, as well. She has worked in the hospitality industry for many years. Hospitality has prepared her to be an excellent representative for Rover in interacting with the clients. She is very responsible and dedicated to all she does.”
16. Caroline S.
“Caroline is a great choice for a sitter! She’s patient and kind to pups, so your pet is sure to be comforted and have lots of cuddles :)”

About: I have much experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I started my own pet care business and had over 15 satisfied, repeat pet parent clients and their pets who couldn’t wait to see me. After this business ended due to school, I got a job at a dog boarding/day care center because I needed my puppy fix. Along with this, I had a little one of my own who I co-trained to sit, lay, and quite literally show me what he needs when he needs it. Through all of these experiences, I have learned how to properly bond with, take care of, and clean up after both dogs and cats, and how to give the best cuddles in the world. I’m currently very flexible with my availability. I am usually free 6/7 days of the week. We can work together to find the times and days that work the best for you and your fur baby! I have a pup named Hayden and he gets walked and fed three times a day(along with treats of course). He is quite playful, so he requires a lot of attention and running around time. He requires to be leashed when outside, if not, he has a habit of running, so I am extra attentive to keeping doors shut at all times. When I’m in your home caring for your pet, I’m alert to what your little one will need wether that’s food, a long walk, outside time, pets, playtime, or nap time!
18. Pierann W.
“Pierann helped care for my puppy for a few days, doing well with feedings and walking. I left her with specific instructions which she followed and Baxter enjoyed his time with her.”

20. Jesse M.
About: I've worked in boarding facilities and veterinary offices for a combined 5 years. I'm experienced in providing care for dogs and cats of every age, nearly every breed, and with all kinds of medical conditions and behaviors. I work from home full time and can provide around the clock companionship and care. I love to get outside and go for walks and hikes, but I'm always happy to laze on the couch a bit too. I have experienced administering oral medications and insulin, basic grooming, obedience and reactivity training, and puppy/senior care. I have previously fostered puppies in my home. I love all breeds from small to large, and anywhere in between! I have a very flexible work schedule. I often have weekend plans but am able to accommodate with notice. I don't currently have any pets but love caring for animals and am considering pursuing vet school! I live in St. Helena and love to take walks in the vineyards surrounding my neighborhood or over to Crane Park. I'd love to have some company! I live with my boyfriend (pictured) who is also an animal lover and often helps provide care. I am comfortable crating, doing basic training, administering medication, and handling reactive or timid dogs. My goal is always to establish trust, and I'll always give time for your pet to warm up to me first. I'll do my best to meet special requests and make sure your pets are comfortable and happy while you're away!
