“I'm so happy that I found Lauren to watch Shifty. She sent photos and videos of my pup having a blast daily. I felt safe on my vacation knowing that Shifty was also having a vacation. Lauren treated her like she was a part of her own family. I will definitely call her again whenever I go out of town!”

“Ciana was absolutely wonderful and took great care of my baby. She also regularly sent me photos and updates so I knew that he was in great hands. I’ll definitely go back to her and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Brandi is amazing! Knox loved staying with her and her family. She communicated regularly and provided a lot of fun photos of my dog having an absolute blast with her dog and family while I was traveling which allowed me to enjoy my vacation even more! You can tell Brandi absolutely loves dogs and treats them like royalty while they stay with her. Highly recommend. A++++”
“I was warried leaving my shy dog but Lynette's experience was so valuable. She shared how Moorea felt comfortable after we left text and sent photos throughout the day. She knew exactly what to do with a shy dog and this saves so much time. It was a great experience and will be booking our vacation soon. My dog loves big dog and her dog Tori was so well behaved and sweet around Moorea.”

“Siarra is the most kind and caring dog friendly person I have met! She keeps me informed with quick updates and photos. I never have to worry about how my pup is because I am in the loop. This is my second time booking with her and I will continue to do so! Highly recommend!!”

“Michael and Casey juggled their calendar so we could go to Hawaii and took great care of Lacey as well. Lacey was happy playing in the back yard with the other dogs, as well as taking daily walks. Additionally, I got lots of photos and news regularly. Michael and Casey will be caring for Lacey for our next trip as well—already booked!”

“Lexi and her family treated our dog as their own, and they truly understand what it means to care for a dog. There was never a worry that Moose wouldn’t get adequate stimulation with the many walks and backyard time spent with this family. The most noticeable difference between Lexi and other sitters was Moose’s energy when we picked him up. He wasn’t full of anxious energy and he seemed like our normal pup. This gives us the peace of mind and then some for any future stays he has with this household.”

“This was our first time using Heather and Calob as a dog sitter and they did a great job! They were very communicative throughout, and my dog seemed happy and well cared for when I got home. Would definitely book again.”

“Earl was great to work with! He is easy going and great with animals. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely recommend this provider and we will surely be using him again in the future.”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, having grown up with them in the Champagne Region (France), and I finally moved to California three years ago after spending a decade living in Australia, South Africa, and China. Shortly after settling in, I adopted my little Charlie, who has brought endless joy into my life ever since. Charlie is my constant companion—we go everywhere together! He’s a big fan of the ocean, enjoys snacking on yogurt, loves playing with other dogs, and even enjoys chasing those pesky squirrels. Charlie also loves having friends over, and we often care for dogs belonging to friends. As we welcome the new year, we’re excited to make even more furry friends! Pet care is an integral part of my daily and weekly routine. Every day starts with morning walks in the vineyard and plenty of playtime with Charlie, ensuring he gets the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. Throughout the day and depending on work needs, I make time for meals, treats, and cuddles, incorporating his care seamlessly into my schedule. On weekends, I prioritize longer adventures like beach trips, hikes, or visits to dog parks, where Charlie can socialize and explore. I also enjoy caring for friends’ dogs, so having extra pups around is a natural extension of my routine. When pets stay with me, they become part of the family. They have plenty of space to relax, play, and explore. Daily walks, playtime, and cuddle sessions are part of the routine. My dog, Charlie, loves making new friends, so visiting pets always have a buddy to keep them company. I maintain a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they feel at ease and cared for.
“Tiffany was great! She was very professional, and her experience was evident throughout the entire process, from the first message to final pickup. She also sent us regular updates with pictures, which we really appreciated.”

“Mackenzie took amazing care of Fritz! I had to find a very last minute overnight for him and really appreciated how quickly Mackenzie responded and how great she was with communication. You can tell she really loves animals and is very thoughtful and attentive to the pets and people lucky enough to be in her orbit.”

“Lindsay has been amazing over the past couple of weeks - looking in after our Twilight kittie while we had to be away. She has been so communicative, responsive, and caring. We are lucky to have found her.”

“Peter was very patient and compassionate with my reactive dog. He has a lot of knowledge and understanding of behaviors and went above and beyond to make her comfortable. He clearly wants to ensure the best possible experience for you and your pet.”

“Marion was very responsive and took great care of my pup! Would definitely recommend Her if you need pet sitting. So thankful to have met her and will definitely book again next time I am out of town or want to give my pup some activity when I am working long days.”

“Katie is a wonderful find. She came to our home first to meet the guy, see the house, put up with my stories of his fabulousness. Then her evening and morning 1-hour visits were 1) absolutely on time as agreed, 2) featured many photos of his various activities, 3) the completed checklist of meals, litter box, etc. and 4) great info on his behavior, especially since this was the first time she cat-sat. That he hissed at her on first visit, was chill and lovey on his second (sounds like him). Katie has made it her business to know as much as she can about cat behavior (she is a cat owner), such as why female cats may like their rumps rubbed while my male cat might not. She is also just a lovely, attentive, curious person. So glad she's in the neighborhood.”

“Siarra did a wonderful job dropping in twice a day to care for our cat. She gave him extra love and attention when she could, even spending a whole morning with him. He got supervised outdoor time as requested and I appreciated the many cute photos she sent. Siarra was very prompt with communicating with me. I would love to have her provide pet care in the future :)”

“Sarah was amazing!! I have two very shy cats and she won them both over with kindness and patience. They both love her!! And I loved her care for the house, great questions and videos that she sent with every visit! I never worried once while on vacation—that’s how good she is!!”
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old. I have experience with both small and large breeds. It will be all love and play that your furbaby won’t even notice you’re gone! I work full time on weekdays (11am-6pm), with a 30 min commute, and am available early mornings and evenings. On weekends I am free almost all day. “Kate did a great job! She was reliable, and provided an update to me every day! Trippy is very shy, but Kate managed to win Trippy's trust right away (honestly, I was very surprised!!!). When I returned home, Trippy was calm and happy to see me- clearly not stressed about being left alone while I was away. Kate made her feel that way, and I am grateful!! Thank you Kate!”

“Luna was very dependable, came in and stayed the agreed amount of time to interact with my pet cat. (Feeding her doesn't take very long and the interaction is really what I pay for). Will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve watched hundreds of animals and treated them lovingly and like my own every time; I have 20+ years experience ranging from French bull Dogs, Terriers, Retrievers, Blue Heelers, Huskies, Labs, Pits & Mutts galore. Currently, when I am home, I am available. There are no interferences. I love to walk and hike and do so every day; having a pup of my own is a goal, until then, I’ll enjoy every dog sitting opportunity & treat yours like gold! I will adhere to any ground rules set forth by owner. I do have a fenced yard where I hang out. I also have one older cat who keeps to herself. At least, I walk dogs twice a day that I care for. I do my best to understand their parents rules at home to emulate them in my own, or enforce them in theirs, I.e. dogs not allowed on furniture etc. I enjoy running with pups if they like to as well. I’ll basically love on your dog and care for it as if it were my own.

“Barbara is experienced, intuitive, dependable and very caring. Our very picky cat responded well to her and she seemed to know exactly what he wanted or needed. She came twice a day at the times we agreed upon (even over the holidays) to feed him, give fresh water, change litter and take care of whatever else he was accustomed to. And to play with him, a lot! It was our first time leaving him with "strangers" , and of course we were nervous. But it all worked out very well and we were quite pleased with her. We're going to book Barbara again for another trip this year.”
“This was my first time using Rover and Lacey was an incredible sitter! I used her for three drop in visits over Thanksgiving and it was such a seamless experience. She communicated updates actively and my kitty loved getting to play with her each morning while we were gone. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her again!”

“Ashley is a compassionate, calm pet sitter. I scheduled a meet and greet with my dog Piper ahead of day care date. We were greeted warmly and Piper enthusiastically explored her peaceful, pet safe yard. Piper was eager to return for her day of fun, and loved her 3 walks and frisbee play. Thank you, Ashley!”

I have a lot of energy and can easily keep up with active pets on walks and during playtime. With over 20 years of caring for others' pets and a lifetime of my own dogs and cats + (including reptile and farm animals) I'm prepared to care for your pet with confidence and patience. ***I have experience with elder pets, and with pets with health challenges. The more communication the better so that I can reinforce what is already working with you and your new family member. Nurturing your puppy while helping them learn new behaviors is my bag! Re: ‘Special' pets: Do you have a rescue with mood-swings, a cat that attacks visitors then demands to be hand-fed? A cranky pants senior dog? Or maybe a joyful but jumpy terrier that needs constant, gentle conversation on a walk? Having been a foster pet & rescue animal parent I've had my share of pet personalities- and they’re all wonderful! Some require ‘special’ attention and I’m here to provide that. I work from home and have a great schedule. I started on Rover to get more time with pets after losing my amazing cat that I had for 18 years. It really filled a gap in my life! I’ve met many special animals along the way. My availability is typically flexible- including last minute bookings. I will care for your pet in your home or as part of a concierge service at your hotel, depending on your needs. *in addition to pet sitting, collecting mail, watering plants and other light duties can be arranged. Keeping your pets happy and at ease is my goal.

I’m self employed as a photographer so my schedule varies greatly but I have lots of flexibility! I’m a professional and will treat your pet’s care as my best client! Since I work for myself, I control my schedule so I can accommodate yours! Anyone that knows me knows that I care for my animals like my family! I will care for yours the same way! I’m communicative, organized and will treat your home with the utmost respect!

About: Hello pawrents! Thanks for considering our family. My husband Cesar and I provide in-home dog boarding on a private vineyard in Calistoga, CA. Dogs stay in our home and are integrated into real family life — with structure, supervision, fresh air, and plenty of rest. Our days are simple and consistent: frequent potty breaks, time outside, and daily walks morning and night around the property. We love dogs with big personalities, shy dogs, curious dogs, seniors, puppies — all breeds are welcome. The goal is always the same: a safe, predictable routine where dogs can settle in quickly and feel secure. Harley’s Dog Sitting was inspired by our beloved dog Harley, who shaped the way we approach care — patient, attentive, and respectful of each dog’s personality. That philosophy continues today. For additional details and For additional details and FAQs, we keep everything updated on IG and more. OUR HOME This is a busy, real household with young children and visiting dogs, so we prioritize boundaries and consistency. Dogs are welcome on furniture during the day, but dogs do not sleep in bed with us. We also have a Mini Australian Shepherd rescue, Ginger. She’s a sweet part of our home but prefers distance from new people. You may hear her when you arrive — that’s normal — and we always manage greetings carefully. EXPERIENCE & SAFETY Mandi has cared for dogs for 17 years and has emergency/animal CPR training, plus experience with medications and senior dogs. Cesar has been walking and caring for dogs for years as well. We work remotely, so someone is usually home during the day, but we do not offer constant care — dogs must be comfortable being left alone for a minimum of 2 hours. Insurance note: Rover’s protections apply to Rover bookings. We also carry additional third party insurance. OUR POLICIES (Quick Version) 1. Spayed females only (exception: puppies under 4 months). Unneutered males are welcome. 2. Pick-up & drop-off by appointment only between 8:00am–6:30pm. Please text/call 15–30 minutes before arriving, then text upon arrival. 3. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and on flea/tick + heartworm prevention. Vet records required for new clients. 4. We may post photos from stays on our website/social/Rover. By booking, you agree to photo use. 5. Crates are required overnight and during meals. This supports routine, reduces stress, and is important in the event of an emergency evacuation. 6. Please do not pack toys. (We keep a controlled toy setup here to avoid guarding issues.) NEXT STEP If you’d like to request a stay, click “Contact Mandi M.” and send a booking request through Rover. You can message with questions first — nothing is confirmed until both sides approve the booking. WHAT TO PACK Please bring: food + feeding instructions, leash, and a collar/harness. We provide beds and bowls. If your dog uses a specific crate style/size, you’re welcome to bring it — otherwise we have crates available. Mandi and Cesar work from home full time. This enables us to enjoy spending time with your dog with frequent vineyard views and potty breaks. However if your pet needs constant care, please let us know before booking. We have a large outdoor space at your dog's paws. Between the vineyard and the river, there's a wonderful world to explore! The vineyard is partially fenced, however, we keep dogs on leashes during their outings at all times unless they have reliable recall at the owner’s discretion. We utilize crates to keep dogs separated during mealtimes and when unsupervised (at night). We also have a gate setup outside as an extra barrier. In addition to Rover's insurance, we have a 3rd party insurance policy because your dog's care is our priority.
“Here’s a smoother, more polished version: Kara was amazing! This was Plato’s first Rover experience, and he had such a great time with her. She met us at the location and took wonderful care of him. Kara is incredibly kind, communicative, and attentive. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their fur baby!”

About: Aloha! My name is Luna and I have 4 dogs. I have experience with training dogs as well. My furry children are all trained by me and they can walk off leash. Animals are my passion. Walking: I love to run with dogs to get my exercise in, but walking is always great! I have walked dogs for 10 years now. Home Visit: I follow directions. Will take the dog/s out to pee and play for a little if needed and give them lots of love. Definitely play with your kitties and get you as many action shots as possible. As well as snuggles. I’m currently a stay at home mama! I have a pretty open schedule. Weekends are always the best for me, but I can do week days if needed. I follow house rules that are given. Due to the fact that I now have an infant I no longer am caring for dogs in the comfort of my home, but I’m more than happy to take your pup on walks or check in on them
“Zach has been great. We wanted a walker for 6 weeks while my granddaughter recovered from medical issues. Our rambunctious 70 lb. Golden Retriever juvenile (to big to be called a puppy) loves walking with Zach. He gets sooo excited when Zach arrives! So excited that Zach sometimes has to help get the leash on. All of us will miss having Zach walk Angus.”

I have a cat at home as well who is dog friendly and sometimes plays with my dog or will hide when not in the mood. Pet care is a daily routine for me. We'd love for your furry friend to join our walks and home for lots of fun and play while you're away! I take great pride in learning what makes your pets the most comfortable while you're away. If you prefer me to stay in your home that is of course the least stressful for your furbaby. If you prefer I host your furbaby(s) at my home, my cat and dog (depending on the time you book) will keep them company and have lots of play time and snuggles! I have a small fenced yard but nearby dog parks and homemade treats! Because I work from home dogs are given daily walks and several opportunities to go to the bathroom outside. If a dog goes to the bathroom in the house repeatedly, a $150 cleaning fee will be added to your booking. I make every effort to work with you and the dog to prevent this but if it continues the fee will be added to your stay.

“Lindsay was such a good sitter for my little yorkie boy, Monty Banks! Super caring and attentive, making sure he was happy!! I explained that he is ALWAYS with me and may not be very engaging and just miss his mama, but she took him for an awesome walk and kept him busy and he even snuggled a bit. The photos were so cute and made me feel safe, as this is only our second time using Rover…what a great experience!! I was visiting wine country for a girls trip and decided last minute to grab a mud bath…so happy to have someone so special to puppy sit!!!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats since I was 5. We had medium sized dogs, 2 terrier mixes Benz & Benjamiah, and a poodle named Tracy. My grandparents had Irish Setters, Brandy & Rusty, who I spent my summers running and swimming with. We had a Siamese cat Coco, a domestic short haired named Butterscotch, a longhaired named Gati, and had 4 cats at one point- Strider, Waldon, Keelee & Kara. I even owned guinea pigs Albert & Lilac, a hamster I took over for a roommate named Einstein, and a beta fish Bebe lol. Do sea monkeys count lol? I give animals 100% attention, and make sure they feel loved and cared for. I love playing with cats with feather wands or laser pointers, and playing fetch and tug of war with dogs. I feel comfortable with animals to make sure they feel safe and am willing to try and help out with unwanted behavior. I have my cat Gizmo, who is more in retirement mode lounging about at the ripe old age of 20. I am currently able to pet sit full time. I have 2 regular clients that I walk their dogs 3 times a week, 1 client’s dogs I walk 5 times a week and 1 client’s dog I walk twice a week. I do my schedule every week and make it around the pet sitting, so they have priority, so it works for everyone. I make sure to get and follow instructions at my client's home for their pets. I let the pets sleep on the bed with me, and can drive dogs to different places to go for a walk if allowed. I can bring toys for cats if they don't have any to play with, most love catnip if allowed. I bring a collapsable water bowl for dog walks. I give them a lot of attention and love playing with pets. I make sure I know the commands the owner's use so I use the same ones. I give pets a lot of affection, and being a massage practitioner, I do give good rubs and pets, feeling where they could use it, and where they like it as well. They usually look forward to my return, remembering the time I spent with them with their tail wags and excitement on my return. I can send photos of pets, even videos, and don't mind client's checking in while they are gone. I am detail oriented and pay attention to what the pets are doing, like habits, and share that with the owners. I’m used to cleaning dogs paws or drying them off if its been muddy/rainy. Also getting off any eye crust.
About: I grew up taking care of my family's dogs (feeding, bathing, walking, playing with) and I started cat sitting for neighbors when I was ten. I am currently working a part time job from my home, so I have a lot of flexibility to walk, feed, or watch your pets overnight. I won't be able to board animals in my house but because I have two dogs of my own I understand how precious our animals are and promise to treat your animals with the same love and care I treat mine with.
