About: I have had animals all my life from horses to cats and everything in between. I have taken care of animals of every kind since I was 8. I've boarded animals for short and long term stays. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I truly believe pets are a part of the family. I have experience administering medications to dogs as well as cats. I have had hand in training a few of puppies, especially on the potty training front. It's a great joy of mine taking care of animals, because they do so much for us. I work from home with a good amount of down time most weeks. I have the ability to take breaks as I please, so I can drop in on your pet when needed or if boarding take them outside whenever they choose. I live in an apartment complex that has a great dog park. Our neighborhood has plenty of space away from traffic for safe, fun walks, as well as hiking trails within walking distance. I have 2 cats that have lived and been around dogs of all sizes on and off throughout their lives, and don't mind them one bit.

“This is my first time leaving my french bulldog, Milo, with someone other than family. I was naturally apprehensive but meeting Rachel made me feel better about the whole thing. I was going to have my dog with Rachel for a few hours as as a test run before any overnight stay but the time I was going to leave my dog in her care, she would be at work. Luckily her husband, Sebastian, is also a sitter so he watched Milo. It worked out great because it's like having two sets of eyes watching my dog. Rachel gave me updates and it was clear Milo was relaxed, safe, and had a good time with her husband. About: I’ve been petsitting/housesitting for 8 years in San Diego CA and when I travel for petsitting. My experience with animals ranges from a wide variety of chickens, goats, pigs, a pet cow, horses, lizards, snakes and turtles as well as; cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes I am available most weekdays for drop ins and walks; with limited weekend availability depending on the week. If my schedule shows I am available through the weekend, then I am! For dog day care or boarding I am the primary caretaker but there are two extra sets of hands available. I currently look from home during this part of the year and have a flexible schedule to accommodate! We have a fully fenced in yard and prefer to take in only one families dogs at a time. If you dog is comfortable with it or prefers it, I am happy to take them on outings with me around town. I live walking distance to a shopping center and a few parks. Safety is very important to me as well as keeping the animals safe. I expect that all dogs and cats I care for to be non aggressive and properly trained to be safe to all in public. If they are not I require that it be disclosed in full and discussed with me prior to the sit, drop in, or walking; I am familiar with and can accommodate almost all behaviors but I do require it to be disclosed before proceeding. My priority is the comfort of your pet within their environment as well as the safety of all within that environment including your pet. If there are any quirks or triggers that your pets exhibit it is expected that they be disclosed when booking a walk, drop in or house sit as they can be accommodated if they are disclosed before the walk/visit. Please disclose if your cat is a frequent scratcher or biter, or if you dog has a rage/bite history for the safety of all parties.

German Shepard's were in our family since before I could walk, so large or small pets I am totally comfortable! I lost my best friend (100lb Boxer) so I have TONS of love to share with your FURKID... I love meeting other pet owners who care about their dogs and in turn I will care and treat them as if they were mine. There is PLENTY of grass area to walk in my community and LOTS of good smells :) I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. I can also give oral medications (for a small fee if your dog is resistant) for your pets in need. Let me watch your dog or come by and take care of your dog or cat...I PAWROMISE you they will WOOF me instantly! ****YOUR PET MUST BE POTTY TRAINED WHEN STAYING AT MY HOME**** I would also like to know: 1. Any allergies or skin conditions? 2. Bad habits? 3. UTD on vaccinations or not? 4. Neutered/spayed? 5. How is your doggo on walks? 6. What is their feeding schedule? Are treats okay? Dietary restrictions? 7. Any specific breed your dog dislikes? Also add any other details you think is important to be included. Please be as honest, thank you. I am currently 100% remote, work from home. Wake up early a 4am to start... love having a dog in our home it MAKES ME TAKE BREAKS!!! I also love being able to go walk anyone's dogs so it gets me out of my home office!!! The dog will get as many walks as he/she needs. There is plenty of paths, grassy area both in my community and on my street! They will have access to any/all furniture (unless you have specific rules).....they will think they are at a *****resort =)
