“Finding a dog sitter you trust is everything, and Mirina gave me complete peace of mind. Mirina is so incredibly nice, great with communication, perfectly on time, and truly went above and beyond – even patiently waiting for my little peanut to pee. After seeing all the photos it was clear my Dog loved her!! Can’t wait to have her back!! 10/10!!”

“Abraham and Liliana were superb! They were always precisely on-time, and took exceptionally good care of the dog and cat (my four-legged furball family). In fact, I suspect that the dog and cat liked them more than they like me. In any case, the next time I need help with the pets they will be the first people that I call.”

About: I have recently lost my 14.5 year old husky who enjoyed walks every day and all the Rover dogs that stayed with us in the past with Rover boarding. I have recently added service to stay in the pet owners home as well. I love the responsibility of caring for, feeding, cleaning up after and watching dogs socialize and simply enjoy life. One of the most memorable experiences of my childhood is when our golden retriever had 11 puppies. When they were several weeks old, my Mom agreed to bring in one or two for show and tell to my fourth grade class. She couldn't decide which ones to bring and much to my surprise (as well as my classmates), she brought in all 11! I'd love to care for your pet! I work full time during the week primarily remotely. My weekends are for the most part dedicated to caring for various pets. I have lots of love and attention to give to your pet. I have several years of Rover boarding experience and have recently added service to care for pets in their own homes as well. I am very calm, considerate and safety conscious and can't wait to meet your pet.

“Tereza is very responsive, clear with communication, reliable and my dog loves to see her! She does drop in visits for my dog a few days a week and always takes her for a walk around the neighborhood during the visits. I would highly recommend her!”

“Stephanie did an excellent job dropping in to take care of our cat! Pepper is elderly and very timid but warmed up quickly. Stephanie went above and beyond and even brought in some big packages that were delivered while we were gone. She was great at sending pictures and updating us on how Pepper was doing while we were out of town for a week. We would definitely trust Stephanie to take care of Pepper next time we are away!”

“Kristen was communicative and just an overall great experience. She watched my two cats while I was out of town and made me feel completely at ease. Would definitely recommend”

About: Hi! Heya! Hello! Are you looking for someone to care for your pet while your away? Well you've found them! Fun, energetic animal lover who can't wait to meet your pet! Drop-ins and Walking! Volunteer work with B.A.R.K, S.P.C.A, as well as experience working as a kennel assistant at Holiday Barn Pet Resort. Why I love dog sitting? I've always gravitated towards animals; I was that kid who brought home any animal that crossed my path, feeding strays, foresting. Growing up in a home where the pet to human ratio always favored pets, pet sitting is second nature to me. My experience administering medication I've done my fair share of administering medication to all sorts of animals. I am able to administer oral, injections, topical ointments, as well as suppositories. I currently work a dual remote position at NHPBS and have the flexibility to work from home which allows me ample time to provide the attention and care your pet requires. I’ll be an extension of your home and care. The goal is to provide a safe environment where your pet feels loved and has an enjoyable stay until your return.

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, from daily walks to long term pet sitting. I have looked after multiple cats at once and have consistently walked and cared for dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to large breeds. I truly love animals, especially dogs, and I take pride in giving them the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I work a full time 9-5 but am available before and after work as well as during lunch, since I mostly work at home. I am also available some weekends. I am responsible and great at following any directions that pertain to specific food the pet is restricted to take or any rules regarding taking them outside or if they can engage with other pets.

About: I love dogs and have a beautiful 8 yo 1/2 Lab 1/2 GSP of my own who I fostered and then adopted February 2018; she will gladly keep your dog company and busy playing at my home. I have a large fenced in back yard 2 miles from downtown Portsmouth with plenty of room for the dogs to play and run around in. I am retiring from corporate America in September, and have some time on my hands to give lots of love and attention to your dog/dogs for the time being. I will only take up to 2 dogs (over 2 years of age only for both daycare and boarding!) in at a time for day care and 1 or 2 for boarding so your dog will get plenty of love and one on one attention. You can rest assured knowing I will care for your pets better than most. When I am walking your dog, I will engage with them, give them loads of attention, and will not be looking at/reading my phone! There are toys and tennis balls for them to play with in the yard and they will be let out every 2 hours for potty breaks and play, and can lounge around on the couches if they feel like it too. If they are 100% with recall, we go for 2 trail enrichment hikes/ walks per day, otherwise they can be walked on leash around my neighborhood. At bed time, I play soft spa like music so the pups can sleep well and comfortable. I would like to have a meet and greet with all dogs and owners before they board at my home. My daycare rates are for up to 8 hours per day. If you drop your dog off at 8:30am, the dog must be picked up by 4:30pm otherwise you will be charged another half day rate. Latest pickup is 6:30pm. After 6:30pm it becomes an overnight boarding. Unfortunately, I cannot take any dogs in that show any signs of aggression. Thank you for understanding. I am currently working from home, and also own my own business so as long as I am home and not traveling I am here for the dogs most of the day. We cater to dogs that need a little extra support and don’t do well in a chaotic kennel environment, which is why it is more of a “boutique “service. (1:1) At the most, I might pop out for an hour but the dogs will not be left alone for more than an hour or 2 max. I have a large crate here if your dogs likes to be crated. I am not currently housesitting, only taking dogs in at my home. I do not book out months in advance. I generally only book out one month in advance. I am currently not booking for 2026. I will start booking for 2026 in November 2025. I let the dogs out every couple of hours for potty breaks and play. I will only take in 2-3 dogs max for daycare at a time and one or two dogs at a time for overnights, as to not overwhelm any of the dogs. This is a relaxed stress free environment for the dogs.

“Jessica took great care of our cats while we were away for a long weekend. She was very professional and reliable, and the kitties enjoyed her company — even the timid one! Thanks again!”

“Gavin was wonderful with my dogs. He arrived on time, made sure they got plenty of outside time, and even brought in a package from my front steps. I am very glad to have Gavin available to watch my boys when I need to be away.”

About: With many years of experience caring for and loving animals, I’ve worked with everything from puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, and small animals like guinea pigs and bunnies to larger farm animals like horses and alpacas. I take pride in providing attentive, reliable care and always prioritize each animal’s well-being, comfort, and routine—whether they live in a cozy home or a barn. I have lots of free time during the day and am looking to spend it caring for animals so pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I place a massive emphasis on making sure that your furry companion feels comfortable and one way I do this is by keeping their routine as similar as possible to what they experience with their own owner.

“Nicole took wonderful care of our pets and kept us up to date with messages and pictures. She was very responsive and caring. We have lots of cats of various ages and on different diets and we felt very confident that she could manage it all. She took our dog for nice long walks. I would highly recommend Nicole if you want a mature, kind and responsible pet sitter who can handle multiple pets with medication or special diets, in addition to company and love. Knowing she was taking care of our pets helped me relax and enjoy our family vacation.”

About: I work professionally in the wildlife care profession and have 2 special-need dogs at home! I have had dogs at home my entire life and now have two incredible dogs of my own. I am highly active and love a long walk. Experience with dogs breeds of all sizes. I am currently taking the summer off of work and have plenty of flexibility. I will be available throughout the week and on limited weekends. I have experience caring for dogs of varying breeds and sizes and have cared for reactive and high-maintenance dogs for years. As an active outdoorsman, I am able to care for your dogs in your home, in your yard or for walks of all distances and durations!

About: I’ve had pets since I was a kid from fish, guinea pigs, bunnies, cats, dogs, you name it. I’ve nannied and watched their dogs. I’ve had roommates with animals. Love to take care of animals and give them all the attention! I work from home full-time, so caring for pets fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I’m always around to give walks, cuddles, and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday stroll or some playtime between meetings, I love incorporating pet care into my schedule! I don’t have a yard but I live very close to a dog park if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I also live by a trail and a few miles from the beach. Your animal can easily be crated/uncrated based upon your preferences. I am very big on making sure the animal trusts me before doing anything else.

“Linda cared for my pets while we were away for a wedding. She was marvelous! Besides just feeding and walking them, she got to know them as individuals. Making sure that the more assertive cat didn’t eat the other cats food and learning how to manage the dog walks. She even let me know when there was a potential issue at the house…”

Most of all she enjoys each individual pets strengths and weaknesses but loves them all.
