About: I’ve had multiple years of experience with senior dogs, pets needing help with medication, or energetic pets requiring lots of play. I have two cats myself. I’m a musician with a flexible schedule so I can make time whenever they need me. Happy to do over nights or pop in visits. Ive found it best to try to keep animals routines and schedules as regular as possible from what they’re used to to minimize their stress.

About: I have always been the first to offer to cat or dog sit for my friends. My own cat needs daily oral medication, so I understand the importance of timely medication. I can't wait to meet you and your pets. I am currently attending online school, so I will have a lot of availability to care for your pets! I'm new to the area, and excited to get myself out there. About: I’ve been an animal lover all my life and have often been called on to pet sit for friends and family. When I was younger, I wanted to be a veterinarian. At 17 I did an internship at my local animals hospital. As a result, I’m confident working with most animals and know what to look out for in terms of health issues and can give medications. Although I eventually left the pre-vet track, my love for animals has never wavered. I’m a self-employed writer and artist so I get to set my own schedule! I’m generally available between 8:30am to 8pm. I love doing longer housesits! I’m confident with cats and dogs and I have a list of questions I like to ask to make sure I do things just as you like. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I would walk my dogs daily, to explore and go to the bathroom. I would also groom them myself. I am also familiar with cats too. I currently work part-time flexible shift during the week. I am available for boarding after 9 a.m. and on the weekends. I also specialize with deaf dogs. I will be getting gates and crates if needed fur your fur babies. When outside your puppy will me monitored at all times. Safety is #1 for all pups.

About: I grew up with three cats and help train dogs through the Leadershape! Now I typically share my dog sitting assistance with my friends (for free even!) although I don’t have pets in my own all animals will find a warm welcoming home here I’m currently working full-time, but I work in the evenings and come home on my breaks so plenty of time to check in on our furry friend during the work week I live in an apartment that has a fenced in yard for dogs and a neighborhood park nearby. I’ve sat for large dogs while living here and their needs have been accommodated!

About: I am new to Rover, but not new to pet care! I’ve had dogs my whole life and have become a frequent sitter for dogs in my social circle. I've cared for dogs across a range of sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages, and managed play groups of 3 or 4 at a time. I've also worked as a shelter volunteer and foster through Michigan Humane, and I currently live with a rambunctious 2-year-old Lab mix and a 14-year-old Shiba Inu. I have experience with shy, timid, and reactive dogs; I feel particularly fluent in reading their cues and responding as needed. I'm also comfortable with rowdy puppy energy, slow moving seniors, and various other quirks that every dog seems to have. About: Since I was little I’ve had this cat that’s about as old as I am and been helping take care of her and her kids and providing for her and them ever since I’m currently working I don’t have a set schedule I have a very flexible schedule for you and your sweet animals. I always make time. When in clients homes I follow the rules and regulations that they have set for me. If it’s feeding, cleaning, or watching, I listen. When I am at my home the same rules apply.

About: Growing up, my family always had at least one furry friend living with us, be it a hamster, dog, rabbit or bird. But I did not have a pet of my own until I bought my home in Detroit in 2014, settling down after a life of frequent moving/traveling. Now my little family consists of 2 little ones, a sweet bunny, my patient partner and myself. We have lived with cats and dogs in the past, but not currently. I’m an ethical vegan and an animal rights advocate. In the past I’ve worked at the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY, where I cared for and supervised the puppies, kittens, cats and dogs who lived there and spoke to potential adopters who were interested in taking them home. My history of volunteer work in Detroit includes membership in Pretties for Pitties, a pit bull advocacy organization that helps keep Pitts and other bully breeds in their loving homes, and fights BSL in Michigan. I’m an active member of Attorneys for Animals, an organization that connects animal advocates with animal law. Before the birth of my daughter I worked for many years at the Detroit Public Library, and I’m currently an Airbnb host as well. In my life I’ve worn many hats, but my favorite and most fulfilling role has been that of a mom and caretaker of animals. We cannot wait to meet your furbabies and welcome them into our home!
