“Allison is great! Our lady dog is a big handful and Allison was patient with her and communicative with us the entire time. We won’t hesitate to book with her again :)”

“We needed a sitter for our senior kitty but were hesitant to leave her with anyone she didn’t know, since she’d always been looked after by family and a close friend. This was our first experience with Rover, and we decided to try Chris after reading the great reviews he got. He took care of our girl over a long weekend while we were out of town, and we were completely reassured by the level of care and attention he gave her. He sent us updates and photos, letting us know how she was doing and how she was behaving, and was very attentive to her needs. He has cats himself, clearly loves them and was such a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Chris.”

“Alisha is the real deal. We came home to a spotless house, happy pets, and zero stress. Which, if you knew our crew, is saying something. We have a senior dog on seizure medication, three cats, a duck, five chickens, and fish. Alisha handled all of it without missing a beat. She sent photos throughout the stay, responded quickly every time we reached out, and brought such positive energy to everything. Our dog Seca, who can be particular, clearly loved her. The chickens were tucked in every night. The house actually looked better than when we left. If you want someone who treats your home and animals like they're her own, book Alisha. We already plan to. Highest possible recommendation.”

“I needed a dog sitter at the last minute due to a family emergency. I was thrilled that Shayla was available and willing to help us out. I was 800 miles from home, so she had to coordinate with my husband beforehand. Everything went well, and I will definitely reach out to her again for help.”

About: I work remotely as a RN, which gives me flexibility to care for your animal and home during the day and night. I have 30 years experience with horses, dogs, cats, and a variety of other farm animals. I’m comfortable with care of puppies to seniors and those with medical needs. My typical day M-F has work meetings and projects. This allows for flexibility to play with your pet, offer snuggles, and get outside! Weekends are low key for me and can generally flex to make things work best for your needs. I currently don’t have any animals of my own and would love to focus on yours! If I’m house sitting and your pup or kitty likes field trips and mixing things up, and it’s appropriate, we may go on a safe adventure . We sometimes stop over to my place and hike the forest next door , or some other cool trail on the island , or perhaps hit the beach, or a dog friendly store for treats. Otherwise we stick to your neighborhood and routine.

“Jacob watched our dog and cat in our home for nine days while we were out of town. He took excellent care of them and had great communication! Our cat was accidentally shut inside a locked room when we left (oops!) and Jacob went out of his way to get her out. We came home to two happy, well cared for animals and a clean house. A+!”

About: I’ve grown up caring for a variety of pets, including cats, bunnies, and a dog, so I understand the unique needs of different animals. I’m patient, reliable, and love spending time playing, feeding, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m comfortable caring for both young and senior pets, and I enjoy creating a safe, happy environment for them. Your pets will be treated like part of my family! Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m happy to work around each owner’s schedule. I’m available during the day or evening and make sure pets are fed on time, cared for properly, and given attention and playtime while their owner is away. I really enjoy being around animals and always focus on making sure they’re safe and well cared for. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their instructions, keep things clean, refresh food and water, and spend time checking on and caring for the pet. I’m respectful of the home and make sure everything stays secure.
“Wendy was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was very caring and understanding about our anxiety ridden dog. She was available on such short notice when our plans changed last minute for our upcoming vacation. Kaylee surprised all of us by warming up to Wendy almost immediately at the meet and greet we did and from what it sounds like, happy to see Wendy and her little pup Honeypie show up on the first day. She sent pictures throughout our trip and was great at sending us updates. We will definitely be booking with Wendy again on any future trips we take! Hopefully well in advance next time 😉”

“Mason was kind and communicative. Looked after Sagan very well, and messaged me many cute whimsical things throughout my trip regarding Sagan and my plants. I came home to a happy cat, and a tidy home. I would happily work with Mason again.”

“Really appreciated Melissa’s flexibility with figuring out our trip dates. She took great care of our pugs (we appreciated how clean their nose rolls were when we got back!).”

“I almost hate writing this review because then Jessica might get too busy to care for our dog. Jessica was fantastic! She took such good care of our dog. Loved on him. Played with him. Made sure he was not lonely or anxious. She sent regular updates and we felt blessed to know our boy was in great hands. Absolutely will not hesitate to use her services again and again. Thank you Jessica!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Paula was perfect for our girls! She was very attentive and we felt incredibly comfortable with how she handled each dog with expertise and care. Our dogs were happy in all their pictures she sent and she was great at communicating to let us know they were all good through the visit! We would absolutely book Paula again!”

“Wow! Pamela did an amazing job watching our pups’ over a long weekend; regular check-ins, lots of exercise, and plenty of TLC! We would gladly have her back and would highly recommend her 10/10 👏”

“Dennis was a fantastic sitter. Excellent and regular communication, and he demonstrated real care for our dogs. He was flexible and easy to work with, and the dogs loved him. We will definitely use Dennis again!”

“Emily was great, and flexible! She made sure everybody was taken care of, gave us updates and pics! Great to be home, and great to know that all of 4-legged kids were loved while we were away ???”

“Anna is great! She took such loving care of my three cats and my dog. They all loved her, including the almost feral cat who often doesn't show herself at all but who sniffed Anna's hand several times. She's so attentive to detail and provided lots of check-in with pictures which I love. We will definitely hire Anna again.”

Rollingbay pet parents share their Rover experiences
We needed a sitter for our senior kitty but were hesitant to leave her with anyone she didn’t know, since she’d always been looked after by family and a close friend. I would highly recommend Chris.

Trenton and Jordan took incredible care of our home and our sweet Pineapple. They sent videos and photos multiple times a day of our sweet pup so we could stay close to gow she was doing. And they prepped the house (washed sheets, took out garbage cans, etc) for our next Dogsitter who was arriving after them. Will definitely see if they’re available the next time we need dogsitting.

Miranda is amazing!! She stayed at our house and with our dog Kiwi for 4 days. Kiwi loved her and when we arrived home, our house was immaculately clean. I could tell as soon as I met Miranda, that Kiwi would be in excellent caring hands. I would highly recommend Miranda and will definitely book her again.

Mel and Kelly are the best! They are responsible and conscientious, and they clearly spent lots of time doting on our very spoiled kitty. Zoya seemed to really enjoy having their company, and was entirely comfortable with them from the start. We feel very fortunate to have found Kelly and Mel, and I highly recommend them!

We were very happy with how well our pups were taken care of while we were gone! We got a picture and update every day and felt confident that they were in excellent hands! We came home to a clean house with the dogs jackets, blankets and towels washed as well as the bed stripped with sheets and towels washed! Highly recommended!!!

We are so happy we found Leslie! Our dogs are super sweet but nervous with new people so tend to hide and be scared. Not with Leslie! They warmed up to her so quickly and were snuggling away the entire weekend. She has a natural calm demeanor with dogs and totally respects and reads their needs. She sent photos, communicated quickly, and left our house cleaner than it was. Couldn't be happier, when normally it can be quite stressful to leave them. Thank you Leslie!
