About: With over 15 years of active pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of caring for animals, I bring compassion, playful attentiveness, and calm confidence to every home I visit. In 2024, I spent four months road-tripping across the U.S., housesitting along the way and caring for 7 cats and 14 dogs in 10 households—ranging widely in breed, age, temperament, and needs. This experience left me especially comfortable quickly building trusting relationships with new animals and adapting to their individual personalities. I have extensive experience with medically complex pets, including administering pills and liquid medications, giving injections, and providing wound care. I understand the importance of consistent routines, detailed observation, and gentle handling when working with animals who require special attention. Whether caring for playful puppies, senior cats, or anything in between, I offer dependable, compassionate care tailored to each pet's unique needs. I work four days a week, Thurs-Sun in the afternoon and evening. On work days, I am available in the morning and late-evening. Mon-Wed I have full availability for all types of care. I prioritize safety and active stimulation for my own pets and those I care for. In addition to maintaining feeding schedules and security, I make sure those animals in my care receive exercise and mental stimulation, depending on their needs.

About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my entire life, and caring for them has always been part of my everyday world. From a young age, my life has revolved around animals and helping them become the best versions of themselves. Some of my earliest experiences were with cats, including a feral rescue named Misty I bonded with closely as a child. I tend to connect well with animals that are more troubled, reactive, or unsure, and I’m often able to bring out their calmer, more trusting side. Later on in my life, my experience expanded significantly through raising and caring for Golden Retrievers. Growing up around breeding and long-term dog care taught me responsibility, consistency, and how much attention animals need at different stages of life. I’ve been involved in raising dogs from newborns to adulthood, and many of the dogs I’ve helped raise have gone on to become unforgettable adventure companions for their families. Over the past fifteen years, I’ve gained extensive experience working with animals through long-term, hands-on care. My background as a Golden Retriever breeder has given me perspective on how different animals can be, even within the same breed. Every animal has unique preferences, behaviors, and ways of communicating, and learning to recognize those differences has been a major part of my experience. I’m comfortable managing multiple animals at once and handling a range of needs without becoming overwhelmed. I’m most accustomed to larger dogs, but my experience raising puppies has given me the delicacy and awareness needed to care for smaller animals as well. I’m especially familiar with puppies under six months old, including their unpredictable behavior and the extra attention they require. I’ve also worked with dogs that can be semi-reactive in certain situations. While I’m not willing to take on dogs that are broadly aggressive, I retain the right to assess the dog before accepting. I’m most comfortable with working with dogs that are borderline reactive but not reactive-aggressive. I can recognize signs of stress or reactivity, and can manage dogs that are generally well-functioning but may need thoughtful handling in specific situations. I currently have a flexible schedule and am available for drop-ins and walks throughout the day, generally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, unless I’m staying at a client’s home for house sitting. Animal care already shapes my daily routine, and I’m used to structuring my day around feeding schedules, exercise, outdoor exposure, and rest. I’m comfortable juggling different routines and planning time and resources around an animal’s specific needs. I’m very conscientious about safety and environmental risks. I pay close attention to doors, gates, toxic plants, household hazards, interactions with unfamiliar animals, and changes in an animal’s behavior. I rely on observation and experience to distinguish between normal behavior and something that may need attention. If something seems off, I communicate clearly and directly, providing context and details without being alarmist. I also enjoy sharing updates and photos so owners feel informed and connected while they’re away. I have experience filming and taking photos of animals especially dogs and cats that don’t sit still - so you’re bound to get a good photo or two of them.

About: I have been a pet lover my whole 44 years. I have owned cats and dogs of many breeds, ranging from kitten care to senior pooches needing med regimens. Currently loving on a chinchilla at home, I am delighted to care for pets of all shapes and sizes. This is currently my only gig, so I have all the time to spend with your loved ones. Always happy to discuss complicated pet needs. Care in a client home is at each client’s discretion. You tell me what your love needs and I’ll get it done. You can trust me to communicate important issues and just take care of the small stuff.

About: I love petting and snuggling with my friends pets. After my beloved cat passed suddenly I have been pet sitting for friends a lot and enjoy walking their dogs and snuggling with their cats and dogs when the go out of town. I may be more of a cat person but I won’t tell your dog :) I am currently working on Bainbridge island and, with no pet of my own, would love the opportunity to stay closer to work and love on your pet. I love walking a lot so dogs that require walks will have a great walking buddy in me. I also love watching movies so cats and dogs will have a great lap in me! Cats and dogs both need play so I will spend time playing with your pet and making sure they feel attended to.

About: When neighbors or friends need a dog sitter, I always raise my hand! I love long walks, playing fetch and canine cuddles. I have experience with all ages (young pup to senior). I am taking time to figure out my next professional chapter. While I do that, I have lots of time to put energy into something I love: being with animals. I'm well-versed in using multiple-dog-lead leashes, spending quality time with pets, and being bad cop when a fur baby tries to get an extra feeding.

Throughout the years I have been entrusted to go to peoples houses and care for their dogs, take care of dogs in my own home, and have even been entrusted to care for newborn puppies until they were old enough to go to their homes. About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and love animals. I'm the "go to" dog sitter and walker for many of my friends and now seem to be a very popular "dog aunt." I am a local photographer and yoga teacher and wellness worker. I enjoy getting out for walks and having canine company while exploring. I have flexibility in my schedule most days for walks and play time. There is nothing better than seeing a repeat client and watching them do the 4 legged dance when I arrive. I have flexibility in my schedule most days. I teach a couple of yoga classes on the island and work at a few local businesses 2-3 times a week. My hours of work and away from home can vary from 3-5 hours at a time. Other work is done remotely from any location. I give lots of love and care to pets I spend time with and am very aware and present to safety and needs at all times. As a yogi and wellness provider, I have a calm demeanor that animals can sense and am skilled at calming nerves and being patient with pets who take some time to warm up.

About: I have a dog at home that I helped trained and have taken care of friends and family’s dogs. I would love to take care of your pup and give it lots of attention. I am a college student home for the summer and am currently for the most part free any day. This could change later on as I find out my schedule. I only offer dog walking services. I can assure you that your dog will be well taken care of and will have lots of fun on their walk. If allowed treats will also be given
