“Dominica went completely above and beyond for us! We have an anxious senior dog, but she won him over right away (and me too!) with her calm and friendly demeanor. She stayed with him for multiple overnights in our home, and sent us meaningful updates and great photos. We could tell our guy was very happy and well-loved while we were away, and it provided such peace of mind. We can recommend Dominica at the highest level. She is a joy - and a fabulous caretaker!”

“Blake spent 3 nights with my dog Sam and everything went smooth. She communicates well and recommended a meet and greet prior to the sitting dates. When I got back home Sam, who has separation anxiety, was calm and happy to see me. I will definitely request dates with Blake when needed in the future.”

“Gina was wonderful with our new puppy for a weekend home stay. She was courteous, professional, and provided multiple updates. Very thoughtful and treated our house with respect. We can’t wait to book Gina again!”

“Thad was prompt, communicative, and great with my dog. He kept the house in good shape and watered the garden as instructed. He is very personable. I enjoyed meeting him and will call him again.”

“Jesse house sat our three dogs and did an excellent job! We came home to happy pups who got exercise every day and were clearly well taken care of. Jesse was also very respectful of our home and left everything clean. We would definitely ask Jesse back!”

“Brianna was wonderful. She's done drop in visits for me before, but this was the first time for housesitting and overnight petsitting. I was gone for a week and she took great care of my girls. They were happy to see me when I got back, but not anxious or upset. Will absolutely hire Brianna again. She is reliable, communicative, and lovely to work with.”

“Gianna was great watching my sometimes energetic German Shepherd! She provided timely, consistent communication and was just all around great to deal with. Would recommend her!”

About: I grew up with dogs and a cat so I am very comfortable around pets and understand what pets require. I am detail oriented and good with specific instructions. One of my dogs has several disabilities, so I am familiar with injury care and the importance of issuing proper medications and feeding schedules! I am comfortable around animals and love to provide them with a safe and secure environment while their family is away. I am currently a university student. I have class until 3:40 on Mondays, 11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 12 on Wednesdays, but am most of the time free after class. I do not have class Friday through Sunday, so I am often available during those days, unless engaged in a prior commitment! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure to follow any instructions given to me by the client, and make sure I clearly understand all expectations. I am easy to reach and communicate with, so you can check in on your pets throughout the time you are away.

“Michelle is responsive, kind, showed up for everything on time and was flexible when I needed to rearrange. She took great care of Ziggy. I could tell how happy he was when I returned home. Everything was in order at the house and I will definitely use her again and highly recommend anyone else who wants a great conscientious Dog Sitter?.”

“Trinity was amazing! She anticipated what we would even want with our two boys Roly (year old lab/shepherd mix) and Guss (15 year old cat) before we thought to ask for it. Our boys were perfectly content upon our return home after a week, as if we were coming back from earlier in the day. Trinity clearly knows how to make animals feel comfortable and calm, and is wonderful taking care of the home too! Upon an ant infestation she cleaned and cleared out kitchen counters, then drove an injured bird from the yard to local wildlife center. Truly a friend and champion to all of our furred and feathered friends, Trinity is awesome.”

About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors pets before whether it’s staying over night, check in visits, or walking their animal! I can do cats or dogs I am a kindergarten teacher so right now I am able to watch animals or walk animals after 3:10(I can overnight sit too) or if you needed something all day long then weekends work best for me! I care for pets just exactly how the owner wants me to! If you leave a note or specific instructions for your pet I will follow it. I understand the importance of taking care of pets a certain way since I have a pet as well

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! From age two until I left for college, I had lived with a total of 3 cats and 5 dogs. In high school, I spent countless hours volunteering at the Rohnert Park animal shelter, caring for pets of every age, breed, and personality. I truly love animals and treat every pet like my own, and I’d be thrilled to give your fur baby the same love and attention they get at home. I recently returned to the U.S. after spending two amazing years living and working in Spain. While I search for my next career opportunity, I have plenty of free time — which means I can give your pets all the attention, care, and love they deserve! While I’m not able to host pets in my home at the moment, I’d be happy to care for them in yours! Whether it’s check-ins, drop-in visits, or walks, I’m very flexible and happy to accommodate whatever you need to feel comfortable and confident leaving your pets in my care.

About: I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend a majority of my time at home. I also have experience with blind dogs and have been taking care of dogs since I was 8. I have an open schedule so I have a lot of free time. I am very flexible and am able to take care of your pet any time in the day. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space. I can crate the pet if needed or preferred. I have plenty of time to make sure they feel loved and happy.

About: I am a life-long dog owner and lover. In the past few years I have helped raise multiple puppies and been a professional pet and house sitter. I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from teeny tiny to 130+ lbs ! I love going on walks in nature and making sure dogs get sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. And of course, lots of snuggles! I have experience with elderly and special needs dogs as well, including medication and special diets. I look forward to meeting your sweet pup! I am a musician who works from home so I have a lot of flexibility and time to pour into the animals I am caring for. Daily walks are my favorite! I treat every space I enter as sacred and care for it like my own. My home has 2 small dogs currently, so it is designed for their care and safety. I love to leave a space cleaner than when I found it! And bless it with positive energy, leaving you with a happy pet.

About: Hello! My name is Kiana. I am from Rohnert Park and I grew up with cats and a family dog and I now have my own young cat, who is the light of my life. She is an adventure cat that I hike with and she especially loves the redwoods! I am currently a top dog walker on the WAG app! I previously worked at Fit N Furry Pet Resort as a Pet Technician in charge of day care, feedings, walking, and individual play. I also assist in the care of a family member's two German Shepherds from time to time. I truly believe that our fur babies are so important and their care is something to not take lightly. I want only the best care for my cat when I'm away and I know you feel the same way about your fur babies. I have open availability right now to care for your fur babies! Whether that be walks, drop ins, or sitting! I look forward to meeting your fur babies! Depending on the service I like to slowly let the animal get to know me while I talk to him/her. I then like to follow the instructions of the pet parent and intuit with the pet needs. I very much enjoy long walks!

Lyric R.
“Here you go Lyric! 💫 Our dog Noodle is a very soft hearted, sensitive, and picky with people type of dog. Things have to be consensual, on Noodle’s terms in regards to interactions with humans. Lyric is a very kind soul, and Noodle has appreciated that. She was very patient with his moods, and him not liking going out in the rain. :) When we have returned home, Noodle has been a very happy gent being around Lyric, which is so important to my husband and I. We return home to a very clean home as well. Thanks Lyric! Christy and Ted, and Noodle-”

Rohnert Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Gina spent 5 days housesitting and taking excellent care of my two 1 and 1/2 year old cats. I highly recommend her. She was thoughtful, kind, trustworthy, and very responsible and is clearly an animal lover. One of my cats tends to escape out of the front door and she followed my instructions to prevent this from happening. She played with them and one was on her lap in the pictures. My cats bonded with her and seemed happy from the pictures and check-ins that she sent me. They were calm when I arrived home. She took great care of my house. I would definitely hire her again.

What an amazing experience for myself but mainly for my pup Emma. I was in need for a house sitter for 4 nights and Bella was amazing. Respectful, communicative and great with my pup. She went above and beyond and was truly a pleasure. I highly recommend her and will definitely be contacting her again! Thank you Bella

Leah has helped me a couple of times with walks for my little guy. I recently was lucky enough to have Leah dogsit/housesit and stay with him while I was out of town and she was amazing! I felt so comfortable knowing Leah was here! She provided updates and pictures which helped me know he was cared for and when I returned he was happy and calm! Would absolutely have her house sit again!

Jesse house/dog sat at my home for over two weeks. He was extremely responsible… Providing daily walks for the dog, keeping plants thriving, and the house maintained. Being a somewhat overly protective dog mom I left copious notes which I showed him at our meet and greet. I also checked in a couple of times. I was impressed with Jesse‘s maturity and confidence. My very close neighbors commented positively about his care of my six-year-old golden retriever. Most importantly, I came home to a healthy and happy pup! I recommend Jessie without reservation and will hopefully use him again myself.

We feel lucky to have discovered Susannah on Rover! From the moment we met her, we liked her. and she seemed to like our pets. Our dog, Beau took to her quickly. It’s the best thing to know our pets were with a great person like Susanna, while we took a four-day road trip. She was extra kind and slept with our daughter’s cat!

Arielle is wonderful. She stayed in our home and cared for our two dogs (one geriatric), cat, and 5 chickens and we were able to go away for the weekend with no worries :) she has lovely energy that the dogs really felt comfortable around and she followed instructions seamlessly. Highly recommend!
