“Even short trips can be hard to be away from one’s four legged family. Deborah once again treats the girls with love and play. Even getting a rare visit from the scaredy cat. If that’s not high praise I don’t know what is.”

“Merlette did a great job with my two cats! She was super professional, communicative, and my cats (very needy) did very well with her and clearly felt comfortable. Highly recommend and will hire her again :)”

“It was so great having Irina come and check on my cat while I was out of town for a few days. She was really communicative, and responsible, and my cat took a liking to her immediately! Thank you so much Irina!!”

“Jenna was great! I have a special needs senior kitty who prospered under Jenna's care. Going away has been challenging finding the right person to care for my sweet girl. Jenna is a great communicator and clearly is great with cats. My 2 kitties were content and relaxed when I came home. We will definitely invite Jenna back!”

About: Neighbors, family, and friends have trusted my to help care for their pets for years. I grew up with a household of cats and a dog. I have cared for my pets from just a few weeks old all the way through their senior years. I work remotely full-time so would love to take your pup on a walk in the mornings or evenings or just pop in for a daily check. I can also stay overnight for care too. I am happy to care for your pet just as you would. If there is a special park or routine you have, I'd love to hear it!

“Annie took such great care of my cat while I was away! He’s a little shy, but she was so gentle and patient with him. I really appreciated how she kept me updated and checked in any time he seemed a little off—not in a worrying way, just genuinely caring and attentive. She clearly wanted to make sure he was comfortable, healthy, and safe the whole time. I felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Annie!”

“Taylor was fantastic! She gave updates on our baby boys each day and they loved being around her! One of our cats is pretty shy, but eventually came out to see her during each visit :) She was very observant in making sure everything was ok at home while we were away. If there was anything that I needed assistance on, she always remembered to address it immediately. Would definitely recommend and rebook again!”

I pet sit for family friends and am very excited to be back on Rover getting to know all of your furbabies! I just graduated from high school and will be starting college in the late fall. I am available most of this summer and have blocked the dates I will be away. “Thank you very much Amber for looking after us while our mom was on vacation. We felt comfortable with Amber & she was so kind, gentle, supportive & didn’t let our separation anxiety get the best of us . Hugs 🥰, Boba & Meiko 🐈🐈⬛”

“This was our first experience with Rover, and we are very pleased with Patti. She loves kitties, which became clear when they met her. Patti is caring, responsible, prompt, attentive and knowledgeable regarding caring for pets while away. She bonded quickly with our oldest cat Ada who cuddled with her at night and maintained the distance between Ada and the other two young kitties Jack and Maya as requested. She paid attention to the instructions we left for her to follow, and helped us feel confident in our selection, especially with photos. We are totally pleased with Patti and the wonderful care she provided. We look forward to the opportunity to use her services in the future.”

About: I have a lifetime of experience working with dogs of all breeds and life stages. I've had dog family members all my life. When I was 18 I began dog sitting. For five years I managed two dog daycare and boarding facilities in San Francisco. There, I took care of every breed you could think from 8 wks-17 yrs old. I played with them, took them for walks, fed them, administered medication, and interfaced with the clients. I am very familiar with dog psychology, training, and health. I treat all furry babies as I've treated my own; with empathy, love, and patience. I love nature and have a car, so I would be happy to take your dog child on an outdoor adventure, on or off leash depending on what they are used to and what you are comfortable with. I'm currently working part-time with flexible availability during the week and some weekends. I would be happy to take your dog on a nature or neighborhood walk during the day while you're at work so you come home to a happy pup! I always abide by leash laws and get to know the dog and their personality so I can create a safe, fun environment for them on walks. I will also ask you if they have any special needs to be aware of.

“Thank you so much for everything. You guys were extremely professional and excellent at communication. I’m so happy to have forever pet sitters now. Thank you for everything again, our Luna and Lucky were taken care of greatly!”

About: I grew up with dogs in my household and developed an early love for all animals. My father is an animal behaviorist, and I have picked up certain knowledge from him over the years related to dog and cat psychology. For the past 8 years, I have had experience pet sitting for my parents and family friends while they were on vacation. Now, I am ready to take this experience and serve my local community! My full time job is quite flexible and I am able to work remotely whenever I choose, with reasonable notice. That said, I can put myself in a position where I have no other commitments other than to give your pet the quality care that it deserves. I understand that like humans, each pet has an individualized set of needs. I will take the time to understand your pet's schedule and routine before I start. Furthermore, your pet will miss you while you are away! I will do my best to fill in this gap and provide as much love and support as needed. I will treat your house with the same respect and care as my own home and am committed to giving your furry family member(s) the best care possible.

Over 7 pet parents in Rodeo have booked cat sitting
Rodeo cat parents share their Rover experiences
Annie took good care of my shy kitty. She seems to have very good sense about cats, and was able to get my kitty to come out of hiding and play, pretty much right from the start. Annie sent informative updates after every visit, including a variety of pictures that helped me see how my cat was doing. When I got home, the litter box and plates were not as clean as I would have preferred -- it seems like Annie prioritized playtime in her short (half hour) visits, and that was what I wanted.
