“Shylynn you were wonderful! Meme was taken such good care of while we were traveling. I never thought to put on bird and critters on the TV but now that’s his favorite thing😂. Thanks again and we hope to book with you in the future!”

“Denise took great care of our kitty while we were away a few weeks. She was dedicated and came over a few times before the stay to ensure she could administer the medication. She worked hard to win his love and it’s clear she’s a true animal lover!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I had a great experience with Lisa! She came to meet our cats before our trip and made sure to send photos when she checked in on them each day. Would absolutely recommend her and use her in the future!”

“Melanie is an amazing sitter, we have been using her for a while and continues to be our go to sitter. She is so thorough during her visits and in her card notes, we feel at ease leaving our senior, diabetic kitty in her care. In our latest time away, our cat got sick, repeatedly, and she cleaned up everything and let us know how he was doing. She even spoke with our vet and found ways to make our kitty more comfortable until we got back. She goes above and beyond and treats our pet as her own!”

“Jonathan did a great job taking care of our cats while we were away for a week. He is very communicative and we enjoyed the Rover cards he sends. We also had a few unexpected events happen while we were away - he was able to handle them well and make sure our kitties were fine. 10/10 would recommend!”

About: With 4 years of hands-on experience in pet care, I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m certified in dog CPR and have multiple dog handling certifications, which means your pup’s safety is always my top priority. I’ve cared for energetic puppies who need structure and training, as well as senior dogs who require patience, gentle handling, and extra love. I treat every dog like my own, with respect, understanding, and lots of belly rubs! Pet care is a big part of my everyday life. I currently work part-time as a kennel technician, so I’m already caring for animals daily feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, administering meds, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Outside of that, I make time each week for pet sitting and drop-in visits. My schedule fluctuates so I always try to work my schedule around yours! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment that feels familiar and stress-free for them. In clients' homes, I stick closely to your pet’s routine regarding feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any house rules you’ve set. I make sure they feel comfortable in their own space while keeping you updated with photos and messages. When pets stay with me, they get a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, enrichment, and quiet time to relax. I limit the number of animals I care for at once to make sure each one gets the time and care they deserve. Your pet's comfort and safety always come first, no matter where they are.

About: Hello there! My name is Cath and my partner Brian and I live in Aptos,. I truly love taking care of all kinds of animals, I have had dogs and cats all my life and I am attuned to their needs and varying personalities. I have 5 years professional pet sitting experience and I been a dog mom to large dogs for 10+ years. Brian has been a dog parent to large dogs for 30 years. We are always the person that my friends, co-workers and neighbors come to when their dogs or cats need care. We both love spending time outside in nature, hiking, and keeping an active lifestyle your pet will enjoy. We do not own any pets, so we are always looking forward to having new companions to welcome into our home. We love to take dogs outside to explore nature, play a game of fetch, beach romps, and redwoods hikes. We are experienced with dogs from puppies to elders, especially with senior dogs. We can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! We are available for long weekends and most holidays. Our guest dogs stay, nap and play in an open environment. We want to know what would make a fun and happy stay for your dog. We live in the fog belt along the coast so it stays nice and cool here when its hot everywhere else. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

I have a large vehicle which has easy transportation for bigger dogs. I take the time to establish a genuine connection with your pet and want to foster a bond built on mutual understanding and respect. Having trust from you and your pet is an important relationship to have. I want you to be sure that your furry loved one and your home is being taken care of in the safest and best way possible for you. I am a full time worker and van-lifer. My home is on wheels which makes it easy to move around to meet your home sitting needs. My normal work week is Monday-Friday in Capitola. I’m not able to host animals in my home. About: Hi! I’m Shawna — Unlike a regular dog walker, I provide one hour structured walk/runs to safely burn excess energy and reinforce calm leash behavior — ideal for high-drive dogs. I specialize in structured walks (working with dogs that pull the leash) and 2+ mile minimum walk/runs to help dogs burn energy and feel calm. I’m comfortable with strong-willed or high-energy pups. Whether your dog needs a peaceful walk, consistent leash guidance, or a good run, I bring calm, confident energy and real experience. Some dogs thrive on variety! If you’d like your pup to enjoy the beach, trails, or a park, I offer 1hr adventure outings starting at $120. This includes transport up to one hour drive time round trip, a safe and fun outdoor experience, and drop-off back home. Extra driving is billed at $60/hr (not including my own commute). Let me help your dog stay happy, tired, and well-exercised. A tired dog is a happy dog. Caring for animals is already a part of my everyday life. I have a high-energy cattle dog of my own, so daily walks, playtime, and structure are built into my routine. I’m also a runner, so exercising dogs through long walks or runs fits naturally into my schedule — it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I plan my days around being active and outside, which makes it easy for me to give pets the time, attention, and movement they need I’m happy to care for pets in their own familiar environment. I follow your pet’s routine closely, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, structure, and affection. I’ll respect your space, keep things clean, and communicate clearly while you’re away. I always aim to make your pet feel safe, loved, and calm while you’re gone — and make the transition as stress-free as possible for both of you

Cath & Brian D.
“I met Cath through mutual friends, and am thankful for it. I needed a pet sitter for my Irish Wolfhound Poodle mix in short notice. Cath was more than happy to meet my big boy Django. I recieved updates, via text and photo which really quelled any anxiety I had. Many fun beach days! When I returned, it was very clear Django's pack had grown. He was at home, and well cared for in a very dog welcomed environment. Cath is absolutely his favorite person, Django's excitement when being dropped off for stay #2+ was adorable. I am so thankful for Cath's wonderful care of my Gentle Giant. I certainly recommend her care for any future dogs.”

Nieves S.
“Hello Rover, Of course with every pet parent our fur babies are our families. We want the best for them and worry if they are well taken care of and safe. We need not worry with Nieves S. As she is a calm, kind, loving person. We had her stay at our house with Abby our boxer. Not only was I at ease and felt confident that my baby girl was in good company with Nieves; She also took care of my house as well. We were abroad for over 3 weeks and she left the house immaculate and Abby obviously missed her company. She is trustworthy and reliable. The saying is true “ our dogs know if you have a good soul”. Nieves S would be a valuable member to your organization. Sincerely Rita Sutton and Abby🐾”
