Cookie is extremely shy and has a lot of anxiety around new people, so leaving her while we were away was something we were honestly very nervous about. Elizabeth immediately gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly patient, attentive, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She understood that Cookie needed space and allowed her to warm up at her own pace, while still finding little ways to build trust and make her comfortable. By the end of the stay, Cookie was following her around, letting her brush her, and even rolling over for belly rubs, which is a huge deal for her! Elizabeth also communicated with us constantly, sending detailed updates, pictures and videos, and letting us know about everything from eating and potty breaks to small changes she noticed. We never once had to wonder how Cookie was doing. It was very clear that Elizabeth genuinely cared about Cookie and treated her like her own. Being away from an anxious dog can be stressful, but knowing Elizabeth was with her allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. About: I cared for my dog 0-15yr and currently have two 3 yr old dogs whom I love and play with every day. I'm very patient and stern if needed. I work a full time 8-5 job but I’m usually home by 530pm so I can do walks or anything after that. Weekends I’m free anytime! My dogs are leash trained leash. I’ll walk your dog in your neighborhood or take them to a park if there’s one close! Very cautious of other dogs and observant of their behaviors/cues.
