“Erika was very responsive on Rover and accepted a last minute request to watch my cats. One of my cats has a history of a urinary blockage with concerning signs right before I had to leave for a trip. Erika was happy to house sit knowing this and was willing to bring him to the animal hospital if needed. My cats were happy and well cared for while she was at my house. She kept the home tidy and cleaned up our litter box area as well. She also helped us bring in some packages that were delivered. “Elizabeth was absolutely amazing with our dog, Cookie. Cookie is extremely shy and has a lot of anxiety around new people, so leaving her while we were away was something we were honestly very nervous about. Elizabeth immediately gave us so much peace of mind. She was incredibly patient, attentive, thoughtful, and trustworthy. She understood that Cookie needed space and allowed her to warm up at her own pace, while still finding little ways to build trust and make her comfortable. By the end of the stay, Cookie was following her around, letting her brush her, and even rolling over for belly rubs, which is a huge deal for her! Elizabeth also communicated with us constantly, sending detailed updates, pictures and videos, and letting us know about everything from eating and potty breaks to small changes she noticed. Being away from an anxious dog can be stressful, but knowing Elizabeth was with her allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our trip. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was around 10 years old, starting with my own family dogs and being responsible for feeding them, letting them out, playing with them, and making sure they were taken care of while I was home. As I got older, I started pet sitting for friends and family and eventually for people I didn’t know personally as well. I’ve also helped my friend Jade with her pet-sitting clients and have watched pets for a previous manager. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, check-ins, overnight care, and following each pet’s individual routine. About: Loved and cared for two puppies, potty trained them and how to sit and shake. Currently caring for our second chihuahua that is 10 y/o I am currently taking classes on the weekdays for a Personal Training program—which is really flexible. The weekends will be needed for a second job.
