About: As a veterinary student at UC Davis, I have both professional knowledge and a lifelong love of animals. I’ve spent much of my life fostering dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to seniors, so I’m very comfortable adapting care to each pet’s personality, routine, and needs. One thing that’s especially important to me is the human–animal bond. Our pets are family, and I understand the amount of trust it takes to leave them in someone else’s care. As a veterinary student at UC Davis, my schedule is decently structured, which makes it easy for me to plan dedicated time for pet care. Throughout the week, I’m able to schedule visits, walks, and check-ins, depending on what is needed, around my classes and studying. I always ensure that every animal gets the attention that they need, rather than rushing it. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life and future career, so spending time with pets fits very naturally into my routine. I prioritize reliability and consistency, and I always plan my schedule carefully so I can provide dependable care and clear communication with owners. I believe it is important to provide updates on when I visit and how your pet is doing! About: I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and turtles. they were family pets and i learned a lot watching my siblings raise their dogs. i have a 7 year old cat that i've raised since he was a kitten. I have also fostered another cat for a few months. although introducing my cat with the foster was time consuming, it was worth to see them get along. I work part time as a barista. i don't have set days off but i work very early mornings. i am also taking a couple online courses, but i go at my own pace so im flexible with afternoons and evenings. just like with little humans, i make sure cleaning supplies, little choking hazards, and toxic foods are stored high in storage closets where my cat can't get into. i vacuum regularly in case i have dropped small pieces of plastic (that my cat loves more than toys for some reason). i will occasionally pet sit for my sister when she is away on vacation. i don't assume i know her pets better than she does, so i have texted her before about a concern i had about her dog. i fed both her pets at the same time, but one refused to eat. instead of assuming that her dog would eventually eat, i reached out to know if there was anything i could do differently and the solution was a change in environment. i would then feed them in separate rooms and that did the trick. i loved sending her pictures of them unprompted and when asked.

I'll follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to favorite toys and bedtime routines, so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. When your pet stays with me, they'll receive the same love, patience, and care I'd want for my own family. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine, and I’ve structured my schedule so every pet in my care receives consistent attention, companionship, and supervision. I’m home everyday of the week and have plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and maintaining your pet’s normal routine. I attend school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm and 6pm-9pm, but someone is always home, so your pet will never be left alone for long periods. Because I only care for one family’s pets at a time, I’m able to give them focused, personalized care instead of dividing my attention between multiple bookings. My goal is to keep their routine as familiar and stress free as possible so they feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment where pets can settle in and feel like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard for supervised potty breaks, playtime, and outdoor enrichment, along with a quiet dog park just a few blocks away that is usually empty. I only use the park when it is appropriate for the individual dog and with the owner’s permission. I also have a dog (Jayda) of my own who is friendly, calm, and respectful of other dogs’ boundaries. I always prioritize safe introductions and closely monitor interactions so every pet feels comfortable. If a visiting dog is not comfortable around other dogs, my home has separate rooms and spaces where pets can be safely kept apart whenever necessary. Their comfort and safety always come first. Because I care for one family at a time, I can give each pet personalized attention and follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines as closely as possible. For care in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the home itself. During drop-ins or house sitting, I provide fresh food and water, potty breaks, litter box or yard cleanup, medication when needed, playtime, affection, and any other care instructions provided. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and letting each dog move at a pace that suits their age, energy level, and comfort. No matter the service, I send regular photo and message updates so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is safe, comfortable, and receiving attentive care.

About: I've had pets all of my adult life and most of my adolescence. When I was a teen my dad decided he wanted a farm and I helped care for cows, sheep, goats, chickens, and ducks. I have also been around horses since I was 7 and currently have a roommate that has horses and I help care for them on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I started dog sitting for friends when I was 19 or 20 and do it when I can even now. I love animals and have helped with many different kinds. Currently my husband and I have 2 dogs, Rory (female, doberman) and Brianna (female Chihuahua/Corgi mix) Wednesdays, and thursdays I help my roommate feed/water her horses once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. Currently, I have an in person class on mondays and wednesdays at 6pm and 2 other classes online. Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings I have religious meetings I go to other than that I am free to stay at someone's house let them out during the day or even stay for a bit to visit with the fur-babies while I do some school work. Im not offering boarding at my home, but when visiting someone else's house I am able to feed, check waters, clean up little accidents, and let the dog in and out of the home into their yard or if the dog/owner prefers a quick walk I can do that too. I can also throw their favorite toy around with them if this is the preferred exercise
