From the initial meeting to introduce herself to Dubu and me to series of communications to prepare me for dropping Dubu off at her place made it easy and set up an expectation of what to expect. I could feel that Miya was very dedicated to the wellbeing of the dogs in her care. Taking Dubu out to walk 4 times in an one day stay just because Dubu wouldn’t go potty shows this. In addition to this, I’ve learned quite a bit more of what is like to raise a puppy from her experience. Experience was so great, I’ve booked next service with Miya already!”

About: I’ve lived with pets my whole life, and I am a very attentive and patient care giver. Any pet staying with me will get lots of attention and love. I will ensure timely feedings, plenty of fresh water, and lots of safety and love. I am a stay at home mom, and my oldest is in full time kindergarten, so I’ll have lots of time to care for your pet, 7 days a week. I have a recently remodeled fenced in back yard, that backs up to a beautiful, shaded nature walk on the edge of a wetlands nature preserve. Any walks we go on will have plenty of safe exploring for your pet. I have two male siamese cats of my own at home who are generally pretty tolerant of other animals. I also have two young children, ages 5 and 3 so as long as your pets are comfortable and good around kids we would love to love on your fur babies!

About: I grew up on a farm, animals galore. I was always with the animals, they are incredible companions, as well as teachers. I have been on the birthing end of Dogs, Birds, Fish, Turtles Horses, Cows and sheep. Unfortunately I have been on the departure side as well. My love of animals is only second to my love of Life. When your pets are under my care, rest assured that I will act as an extension of you. I also have a very extensive medical education, no not vetinary, but this is the one time I am glad they can't talk. People give way to much information, where as animal will give you indications as to the possible problems. It has been my experience that diet is usually the culprit, but not always. Lots of playtime if it is needed. I will sit or take care of any animal except snakes or rats or spiders. Rates negotiable. I do require at least 3 days in advance for any dog sitting requests. I do have a day job so if they are ok being by themselves during the day, in this case 8-4:30 i will be more then happy to stay with them til morning going to work from ones home. This is M-F and from F-M am can stay so I can focus my full attention on them. For day visits and walking it would of course be a time after 4:30 pm M-F and anytime Sat and Sun. I am willing to accept new clients outside of my 30 mile radius it will be extra but knowing that your pet or pets will be taken care of by someone who loves their pets as much as you do is priceless. I am available most holidays. I can sit for 4:30 pm til 6 am as I have a day job. About: My love for pets from a young age was so great that I willed my intense asthma and allergies to animals away by growing up with my childhood Jack Russell Terrier, Dash. For the canines, I have trained high anxiety reactive apartment dogs. and successfully established trust and security and worked together on their fears. For the felines, I adapt to their level of desired attention and mental fitness and remain as a constant presence - I don’t assume that they’re independent to be left on their own just because they are cats.
