About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up with dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I currently have fancy rats of my own — so I’m comfortable with both traditional pets and small animals. The majority of my family has always had pets as well, and I’ve regularly helped care for them over the years. Whether it’s feeding schedules, walks, cleaning enclosures, administering basic care, or just making sure they feel safe and loved, I’ve always been very hands-on. About: We have had dogs in the house since I was three years old and we were all responsible for caring for them. I’ve seen dogs through the puppy and training stage to the old age medication and care stage. My dogs were big Labradors, and I dog sat for many people with medium and small dogs at all stages of their lives. There’s not much your dog could throw at me that I wouldn’t handle with confidence and experience! I am currently attending an acting conservatory, the only days that that takes up my whole day are Thursdays and Friday's. Mondays and Tuesdays I’m free after 2, and Wednesdays I am free until 1! Weekends my schedule is wide open and I can work any time, and I am available every night of the week for overnights! With all the animals that have gone through my home growing up I know every pet is different. Mel was a lifesaver! She came to watch my only child kitty, Lacey, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Lacey really took a liking to her (she can be shy at times) and actually came out for attention and food every time Mel came in, which made me so happy to see. Mel was also incredibly attentive and thoughtful keeping me updated with pictures and videos of Lacey’s antics. At one point, Lacey was being particularly demanding about food, so Mel checked with me to make sure the automatic dry food feeder was still going off and hadn’t been shut off by a power outage. I hadn’t even thought of a freak scenario like that happening, so I really appreciated that she was thinking ahead and so in tune to Lacey’s needs. I hadn’t gone on a trip in the three years since getting Lacey, partly because I never knew what to do with her and always felt guilty about leaving her alone. After having such a great experience with Mel and seeing how much she went above and beyond to care for Lacey, I finally feel like I can go somewhere without worrying, since I know Lacey will be in good hands! 10/10 experience, for both me and Lacey. thank you so much for being so kind, attentive, and wonderful to her! 🥹🐈⬛
