About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and began dog sitting and walking for family friends while I was in high school. Since then, I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from Chihuahuas to German Shepherds. I also had a Corgi of my own, which gave me firsthand experience with the daily responsibilities and joy of being a dog owner. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they receive the personalized care, attention, and love they deserve. While I'm new to Rover, I'm excited to provide safe, loving, and dependable care for your pets. As a medical student, I'm organized, responsible, and attentive to detail. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, provide plenty of affection, exercise, and enrichment, and keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you always know how they're doing. I am currently a medical student studying for my board exams and spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to take a break from studying, so dog walks, playtime, and pet visits fit naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around the pets in my care. I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care and ensuring your pet receives the time, exercise, and affection they deserve. When caring for pets in a client's home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I'll carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs or preferences. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise based on their individual personalities and energy levels. I treat every home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, secure, and following any household guidelines. I'll also provide regular photo and message updates so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

“Was great with our 2 cats. Feed, them both, and gave medicine to our Lucky. Spent time petting and playing with them. Arrived on time, and sent pictures of our precious babies. We will hire again. The cats each gave her 2 paws up. :)”

“Caiti was wonderful! She updated us on our pups while we were away and they were very happy throughout our trip. She is reliable and we felt comfortable knowing she was caring for them. I highly recommend Caiti and will be working with her again in the future!”

“Dylan’s communication was fantastic and showed up for my pup and made sure she was comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you Dylan, we appreciate your time and the care you provided so we could enjoy our time away!”

About: Hi everyone! I am currently in higher education, looking to spend my time away taking care of furry friends in the neighborhood. I have experience with animals going back to my first job at 14, working as a pet bather for a groomer for about 3 years. This gave me a range from working with rowdy fun labs to small and fun chihuahuas. I am very active so taking your friend on long walks is perfect for me as well. I am also fine with any different dog breed or cats. Also, no allergies for me! I love all pets large or small, cat or dog, and thank you for trusting me with an important piece of your life. Please feel free to contact me with any more information or questions you may need! I am currently working in higher education, and have some flexibility in my scheduling! Message me anytime if you have specific dates in mind as I will always try and accommodate. I have my own puppy with a fenced in yard. But I am also an active runner and hiker and am able to go on long walks as needed with your pet. I will am very willing to do a meet and greet with you to make sure I can care for your furry family member as needed.
“Eleanor was wonderful with our skittish, shy cat that dislikes most strangers. Our cat was so calm and relaxed when we returned from our trip, which is rare for her! Eleanor was so nice and pleasant to meet with, was always right on time with check-ins, and had no problem using not one but two different types of automatic feeders. I highly recommend Eleanor as a pet sitter, and I plan to reach out to her anytime I need a cat sitter!”

“Katie was amazing! She is incredibly kind and the fur babies loved her. She gave detailed recaps of her visits and went above and beyond while we were away. 🐾”

About: I have one senior pit mix who I currently take care of, and I have also pet sat for both dogs and cats for family/friends. I have lots of flexibility to take care of different animals. I am currently off of school, which means that I am available all day, every day to attend to your pets individual personalities and needs. I will meet with your dog for one-on-one playtime with toys and lots of cuddles. At least one or more walks with plenty of potty breaks and feeding if needed. I try my best to cater to the individual needs of your animal.
“Sharon was awesome! She did a great job taking care of our cat and dog. She sent us multiple updates every day with pictures included. She even got our cat to warm up to her and he is usually very standoffish with new people.”

“Merrisa was a fabulous sitter!! Her dedicated care and thoughtful communication left both our beloved Diego and us at ease! Highly recommend!!! Thank you for everything 🫶🏾”

“Sophia did an amazing job watching my 2 dogs! She sent detailed updates, lots of photos, and went above and beyond to make sure they felt comfortable while I was gone for 10 days. She maintained a high level of communication and I never had to worry. I highly recommend her for taking care of any pet you need!”

“Hannah did an amazing job taking care of our kitties over the holidays! She got to know them and their quirks/personalities very quickly, and did a great job with our senior cat. Provided excellent updates and photos, and a lot of peace of mind for us while we were out of town!”

“Kellie was great. She sent us some cute pictures of Charlie and the details of each visit. She is very professional and friendly and we are happy that she took great care of Charlie. Would definitely recommend!”

About: 2+ years kennel experience. Including but not limited to, walking, bathing, feeding and giving any oral medication. Since working there I have been a pet sitter for many of my friends and family. I love caring for all animals of any size! I am currently available on WEEKENDS and 5pm - 8pm weekdays. I will care and love your pups and/ or kitties, like my own, during our walks and/or visits! My pups and I are lucky enough to have a fenced in yard of our own to play in, but at least once a day I like to take them for a walk. I will care for your pet however they need to be tended to. Whether that’s playing outside, walking them or just keeping them company inside. I can assure that you and your pet will be happy and satisfied at the end of our visit.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Glenmont
Erica is an amazing person and a caring pet sitter. They helped take care of my two kitties fish and plants while I was away. During our meet and greet Erica was engaging and attentive when I was explaining the tasks I would like done. Erica went above and beyond. My kitty got a nervous stomach while I was away and Erica helped clean the mess so I wasn’t extra stressed when I got back. Skittles takes a long time to warm up to pet sitters but she didn’t hide this time and Erica made sure to feed her separately from her brother. Tiberius is happy Erica gave love and attention when we were gone as he gets extra lonely. Thank you again Erica. Best pet sitter I had on rover.

There is no one I trust my pets (cat and dog) with more than Freedom. I can tell she cares deeply for them and goes above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of. I highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies whenever you need someone you can trust!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
