Despite her rarely seeing our rescue tom, Mr Rockefeller, as this was the first time since we rescued him 3 years ago that we were leaving him 'alone,' she demonstrated enormous compassion and patience. Impressed that during our first, introductory meeting, she brought a little pillow of catnip so our cat could get accustomed to the smell of her (with the positive reinforcement of a 'nip buzz). The daily checkin with photo had us reassured, if not occasionally bemused (photographing the beta fish she also fed was easier than the cat, lol) and a lovely touch was her environmental conscientiousness in cleaning and setting aside each metal can of wet cat food for recycling -- a green soul after our own hearts! About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. About: Friends and family members have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones for as long as I can remember. Our furry friends deserve just as much love and care as we do. I work from home three days out of the week, so I am able to care for pets during the day. I am also incredibly available throughout the weekends and each weeknight. I maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime to keep pets feeling secure and comfortable. I keep clients updated with photos and updates on their pets' well-being, so they can feel confident that their furry friend is in good hands. About: I’ve done overnight and day visits with dogs and cats for years and do multiple days during the week now for a family member. I work well with large and small dogs. I am available all days of the week and have a very flexible class schedule so can easily fit in a visit with your pup! I am available for overnights every night as well! I have babysat for people who have both fenced and non fenced yards so I can easily work with leash using dogs. I myself have much experience with stubborn and large dogs on leashes so can handle tough pups!
About: I’ve taken care of a sick dog and a rabbit for 3 years now on separate occasions when the families go on trips. I always make sure to play with the animals. I’m available pretty much all the time. I have a class from 11:00-11:50 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday that I have to attend and I babysit from 1:00-4:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but otherwise I am all yours (and your animals) I will make sure that everything is in place when I leave and I will keep the house clean! I will of course also take care of your pets and play with them!

However with an ice storm in the forecast and the fact that we were traveling north, I contacted Dan to see if we could possibly modify our booking and bring Kody a day earlier so that we might miss the bad weather. He couldn't have been more accommodating and immediately got back to me and we were able to miss the icy drive. He also is great with photos and communicating so that you don't have to worry how your pet is doing. And that is such a relief for pet owners! We have already booked with Dan for our February trip.”
