About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play! As well I have a park 2 mins from my home that I can take any pet I’m caring for.

About: I have been caring for pets for friends and family for many years. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to cleaning up pet messes. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for. I am mostly available weeknights and weekends. I am currently working full-time, but I have the ability to check in on pets during the day if needed. Weekday mornings are usually a little busy for me. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with 11 years of experience who provides a safe, clean, and loving environment. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby, and I’ll treat them like part of the family. I work full-time 8am- 4pm Monday through Friday, so best with dogs that are comfortable being home alone during the workday. About: Albany area, Open to long stays as well as short. I work M-F in office but love to stay home on the weekends. I’ve have taken care of small and big dogs since I was 15. I love to play fetch and keeping them company when they’re lonely and missing their parents. I just moved over to Albany from California and currently have all the free time in the world. I am trying to get to know the city more by walking around with dogs. It’s great as I can also get my steps in and your pets will be all tuckered out when you get home. I live alone in a one bedroom so they have decent amount of space to roam around. I also live right next to SUNY so I can always take them out for a breath of fresh air or if they want a longer jog, Lincoln Park is right around the corner.

Mel was a lifesaver! She came to watch my only child kitty, Lacey, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Lacey really took a liking to her (she can be shy at times) and actually came out for attention and food every time Mel came in, which made me so happy to see. Mel was also incredibly attentive and thoughtful keeping me updated with pictures and videos of Lacey’s antics. At one point, Lacey was being particularly demanding about food, so Mel checked with me to make sure the automatic dry food feeder was still going off and hadn’t been shut off by a power outage. I hadn’t even thought of a freak scenario like that happening, so I really appreciated that she was thinking ahead and so in tune to Lacey’s needs. I hadn’t gone on a trip in the three years since getting Lacey, partly because I never knew what to do with her and always felt guilty about leaving her alone. After having such a great experience with Mel and seeing how much she went above and beyond to care for Lacey, I finally feel like I can go somewhere without worrying, since I know Lacey will be in good hands! 10/10 experience, for both me and Lacey. thank you so much for being so kind, attentive, and wonderful to her! 🥹🐈⬛
