I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby, and I’ll treat them like part of the family. I enjoy walks, playtime, and making sure each dog gets plenty of attention and affection. I can’t wait for all the new amazing pets I will get to meet and have the privilege of taking care of! I work full-time 8am- 4pm Monday through Friday, so best with dogs that are comfortable being home alone during the workday. Before and after work, I’ll provide walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention. On evenings and weekends, I’ll have much more time to spend with them! I grew up with dogs and have loved caring for them my entire life. After recently losing my family dog to old age, I want to continue sharing that love by caring for other people’s pets. I provide a safe, loving environment, follow each pet’s routine, and treat every animal like family. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. Mel was a lifesaver! She came to watch my only child kitty, Lacey, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Lacey really took a liking to her (she can be shy at times) and actually came out for attention and food every time Mel came in, which made me so happy to see. Mel was also incredibly attentive and thoughtful keeping me updated with pictures and videos of Lacey’s antics. At one point, Lacey was being particularly demanding about food, so Mel checked with me to make sure the automatic dry food feeder was still going off and hadn’t been shut off by a power outage. I hadn’t even thought of a freak scenario like that happening, so I really appreciated that she was thinking ahead and so in tune to Lacey’s needs. I hadn’t gone on a trip in the three years since getting Lacey, partly because I never knew what to do with her and always felt guilty about leaving her alone. After having such a great experience with Mel and seeing how much she went above and beyond to care for Lacey, I finally feel like I can go somewhere without worrying, since I know Lacey will be in good hands! 10/10 experience, for both me and Lacey. thank you so much for being so kind, attentive, and wonderful to her! 🥹🐈⬛
