About: I had a dog for 17years of my life and she truly was my world. I now have a cat and won’t be able to get a dog till I move out, so being able to watch others dogs helps with being patient until I get my own! I also just love dogs a lot I work full time currently but I am willing to work around people’s schedules. I just love being around animals and would love to help someone in the process, so they feel comfortable leaving their babies at home. I give them free rein, but usually for cats I keep them in one room for at least a day to get used to the new environment. Dogs on the other hand can have any space in the house!

“Monet is fantastic. My kiddos loved her from the moment she walked in the door. She is calm, patient and attentive and made sure they stayed on their routine. Will definitely have Monet watch my kiddos again.”

About: Animals have been a large part of my life since I was a young child. I had to let my dog go due to cancer some years back and cannot afford one of my own any longer. It would be an honor to spend time with your family member. I've been disabled for 17 years and I'd relish the opportunity to give your family member the attention they need when you're busy schedule requires time away. I will go above and beyond to keep your family member happy and comfortable and of course entertained. As a former pet owner I understand your concern with leaving them in others hands. Your four-legged family will be treated as my own.

About: I have had several different types of animals in my life since I was born, and my Dad is a professional Dog trainer,so I am comfortable with a variety of different dogs, cats, and dispositions! I'm currently working part-time from home so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I love to walk so taking your Dog on a walk during their stay is easy! In my home, pets are treated like family. I make sure the space is safe, clean, and calm, with plenty of cozy spots for naps and supervised playtime. I never leave pets unattended and in unsafe situations and never have pets from multiple families at the same time. I follow any routines or rules you provide so your pet feels comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and your pet’s routine. I keep doors and gates secure, clean up after play or feeding, and make sure they always have fresh water, food, and attention. My goal is to create a stress-free, loving environment—whether at your home or mine—so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away.

“Nathan is phenomenal with Billy!! He not only takes him for walks but he helps him learn tricks and shows Billy all the attention he so craves. He is a puppy so patience is necessary and Nathan definitely has that. Nathan is great with communication as well, always letting me know how Billy is doing and if he sees that maybe something is off with Billy health wise. I definitely trust him to take great care of my pup. :)”

“Raven is amazing with my 21 month old German Shepard. I just had hip surgery and need someone to help provide him exercise, mental stimulation. She is sweet, friendly and very communicative. My ‘pup’ misses her the days I don’t have scheduled! I totally trust her with my dog!!”

“She was so prompt to reply to my request. She communicated clearly so I knew what to expect and she knew what to expect. She was prompt and Annie was so happy after her walk. Will definitely use her for my dog again.”

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, from horses to hamsters I love them all! I have dog-sat for multiple friends and family in the past while also volunteering at the local humane society to walk shelter dogs. I will love them like my own. I am currently a student at Mines and have a flexible schedule for frequent visits if needed. My weekends are also free most weeks and I would be available to do overnights if necessary. I give the upmost care to others’ pets just as I would for my own. I am an animal lover to the core and believe any animal deserves to be unconditionally loved just as they love us. I have had experiences having to give 24/7 care when rescuing animals so I have learned the skills and attentiveness it takes.

“Errin is the absolute best!!! My babies just love her. The would anticipate her coming and get excited when they seen her. She went above and beyond! Will definitely be calling on her again!!!”

About: My love of animals and their care has been lifelong. I work fulltime but am currently able to offer drop-in visits in the early Morning hiurd, after hours, and on the weekends, and can care for any plants and mail that might need attention while you are gone. Coverage only in West Boulevard Historical District. Note that my drop-in visits are usually an hour and ideally I will want to meet with you and your pets to review what you might need and want while you are away. This advance visit lets me meet your pet and help transition them to my temporary care while you are gone. However, if you need me for an emergency drop-in because you are stranded due to weather or another reason, I can try to help. I am comfortable with animals of all types including cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, reptiles and fish. This includes caring for and treating senior animals and giving medications. Most shy and reclusive pets will come to me. In addition to giving clients a daily update and asking questions as they come up, my trademark is taking quality photos of their pets on a daily basis. In my profile, see examples of photos that I have taken. My schedule is able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits. I am also available on weekends. To the best of my ability, I will arrive and depart at the same times. I take all the time necessary to get to know a pet in their own home. This is especially important for cats and senior pets. My easy-going photo sessions help with that.

About: I have taken care of multiple vizslas for family members while they were on vacation. The dogs always want to come back to see me I am currently a student at South Dakota School of Mines so I have at least 3 days of the week free to pet sit. I have a small balcony so that pets can always have fresh air. Cats will be watched on the balcony. There is an off leash dog area near my apartment

About: I have lived in households with pets my entire life as well as taken care of countless peoples animals while they have been busy or out of town. I go to the dog park just about every day and am well versed in how animals interact with each other and how to make them as comfortable as possible. I am back in the Black Hills until September when school starts up again for me! I am very free and would love to watch some pets of all kinds. I have my own dog and I can have them hang out or she can stay at home just as easily!! I care for all pets in my home and in others the same way, with love and respect. It’s incredibly important for the animals you are dealing with to trust you and I work to ensure that trust at all times.
