I love taking dogs on long walks or hikes through the woods or just down the city blocks for a quick leg stretch (and a bathroom stop). I'll be attentive to the needs of your dog, making sure they get plenty of activity, are well hydrated, and fed appropriately. While I don't have a dog of my own currently, I was a dog walker when I lived in New York City and I volunteered for two years with Border Paws Rescue in Rapid City caring for 5 - 10 pups for their pre-bedtime outings. About: I have experience working with zoo animals and I’ve worked at my local humane society and vet clinic. I take the time to understand each dog’s unique behavior in order to become the best of friends! At the vet clinic I was a boarding assistant so each day I handled dozens of different dogs. I try to learn about your pet and treat them just like any other living creature. I have rehabilitated a dog that was destined to be euthanized because of his aggressive behavior. I spent every day with him and did what needed to be done to help him realize the world isn’t that scary when you have a friend to explore it with. Although cats are my animal of choice, dogs are a close second. I work full time as a lab tech at a small dental arts studio. My three co-workers, our boss, and I all have a mutual respect and understanding of each other’s needs. I think we would all agree that pets and personal affairs come first. Meaning I can easily leave work to manage your animals as needed. I have had pets in the house my entire life. I currently live with two cats a a dog, so having your pet stay with me would not really be an option. If your dog is friendly to other dogs, our dog, Beasley, is very well behaved and loves to play with anything that moves! In past house/pet sitting jobs I have gone to the dog park with both her and the owner’s dogs so if that is something you would be ok with I we would have so much fun doing that!

I believe a balenced diet, daily walks and adequate exercise are absolutely essential to every dog's life and overall health I'm looking forward to meeting you and your best friend. Paws Up!😄 I'm currently working as a vet teach,I'm available all day for your fur babies except from 4-10pm. 😍 that means plenty of time for walked snuggles and play. I do 20-30 min walks 30mims of play time outside or inside twice a day, shampooing if requested, claw trimming. and grooming. however all this can be adjusted to fit owner's and the animals needs.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life! I grew up, always having at least two dogs in the house, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog sat on many occasions for family members and friends, whether it was for a day or a whole weekend. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and of course, plenty of attention and cuddles! I understand the importance of needing someone you trust to care for your pets and you can trust me to treat your dogs like they’re my own :) I typically work three 12-hour shifts in a row which leaves me with several days off to spend with your pets during the week! This provides me with plenty of time to make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need rather than being left alone for long periods. You can trust that your dog can feel safe and comfortable at my home in my care. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely get outside for potty breaks and playtime, along with access to nearby parks and walking trails for plenty of exercise and exploring. I also have toys and treats available to make their stay extra fun. When caring for pets in my own home, I’m happy to follow their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedule, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any specific instructions you provide. I know pets are often most comfortable in their usual routine/home, so I’ll make sure they get lots of attention and care while they’re away and of course I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: My daughter Trenna and I grew up with dogs and cats and we love all their different personalities and they bring so much joy to our lives. When you get a dog it’s a commitment. “Susan was AMAZING! I can't thank you enough! She took care of my dog probably better than I do! My dog has had horrible experiences before and very high anxiety so I am always very concerned about leaving her. Susan was very patient with her, and by the end of the second day, Bella was off leash and exploring to her heart's content. I received at least 2 pictures and videos each day which really helped me having to leave her for so long. They both had a blast and I know they will miss each other. I wish she could dog sit my puppy where ever we are! (We travel fulltime in our RV and we had a family emergency we had to fly home for.) Thank you so much again!”
