She even made a paw print Christmas ornament with Tivo since she was watching him over the holidays. Cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Simply put, Kristien was phenomenal. She met and exceeded any expectations I had with using Rover—this was my first time—and I highly recommend her services. My special little doggo Bebop stayed with her for 11 days and she took fantastic care of him. From the start, Kristien was thoughtful and responsive. She clearly has a kind heart and bonds closely with dogs. She has their best interests in mind and gives them attention at all times. I had a number of small but esoteric requests and needs, and she accommodated every single one without any complaints or problems. She ended up having an additional dog in the house during Bebop's stay, but she was open and up front about it from the beginning, again offering to accommodate by not having the other dog there if that's what Bebop needed. Also, she allowed me to come meet her and the family before leaving Bebop with her—this was extra work for her, but it gave me great comfort to see her around my special guy before leaving him for 11 days, and to know that Bebop had a chance to meet the temporary foster parents before being left with them. Kristien makes this her top priority and it shows, from the daily pictures and regular correspondence to her professionalism and genuine bond with animals. This was a great first experience for me with Rover, and I will definitely seek her out again in the future whenever the need arises. Thank you Kristien!”

About: My beloved furry friend is Ellie, a Jack Russell Terrier that is 14 years old. Ellie has been part of my family since she was just a few months old. I have experience with puppies and full size dogs with high-energy that are active and strong. I moved down to Raleigh recently and my dog currently lives with my parents. Where I currently live there are no pets or kids present. Before I moved I regularly cared for three large huskies (one was less then a year old) and a 4-year-old cocker spaniel. I am a caring, active, and responsible dog owner that will treat your pet(s) the same way. Responsibilities I believe are essential when it comes to taking care of a pet are providing them with routine walks and giving them plenty opportunity to regularly use the bathroom outside. As well as, providing them with a food schedule, play time, treats and daily clean water. I am an active person that enjoys running outside, so if you have an energetic dog I will gladly run with them! I live in a dog friendly community with plenty of room for walking and playing. I am currently working part-time and have availability during the week and weekends to care for your furry friend. I look forward to caring for your pet! My apartment complex is pet friendly and has plenty of greenery! During our outside walks and playtime I will ensure your pet receives shade and bathroom breaks.

“Laura is awesome!! This was my first time using Rover and she made my older dog, Cooper, feel so comfortable and happy throughout his stay. Laura is extremely communicative and sends frequent updates. We did a meet and greet beforehand which was very easy to organize, and Laura is great about carefully following any instructions regarding feeding, etc. Cooper got along so well with her dog and the other dog she was watching, the photo updates were adorable. Cooper loves relaxing on the couch and sleeping on beds, so I really appreciate how she allows dogs on furniture. Made him feel super at home! Laura is so great about frequent potty breaks and she has a super nice fenced in yard. Will definitely request stays with Laura in the future!!”
