My husband and I have been very uncomfortable with the idea of traveling for long periods of time because we worry about the cat. Shanna gave daily updates and photos which was very reassuring. She did an awesome job and is a genuinely trustworthy person. We will definitely book her again in the future!

About: My name is lexy and I love animals. I have been around them my whole life. I teach math as my specialty and I am very communicative when I take a job. I do alot of tutoring and teaching online via zoom. When I am not teaching I am creating content and posting. Alot of my work is online so I am home alot. I treat pets as if they are my own pets. More recently after owning a ferret and multiple exotics I feel as if I have become a "poop" master, as I tend to now check it to make sure the animals are ok.

About: I have always had animals in my household. Mostly dogs, cats and guinea pigs. I couldn't imagine my life without some furry creature in it. When I was young my step-mother had a big heart for shelter dogs and often saved them from death row. Bringing home another broken spirit about every 6-8 months. Growing up with them I learned to look past their so called "aggression" and see them for who they were. Sweet and loveable, just scared and broken. I will always show animals the utmost respect and compassion. I had to show extreme patience with these animals but also be capable of holding my ground and showing authority. It was a delicate balance I was thankful to experience at the age I was. Though I've lived with animals all my life I do have some professional experience working as assistant manager at a doggie daycare. My duties often consisted of lots of scheduling and paperwork, but the most important job to me, that took precedence over all else, was making sure our dogs stayed happy and healthy and safe while in our care. I helped with making sure food and exercise was given as instructed by the owners, as well as administering medications, monitoring their health and cleanliness, and keeping the owners well informed of their fur babies' time with us. I also helped in the grooming area as needed and can keep you informed on, or even assist with, dirty ears, overgrown nails, and knotted fur. I always do rub down health checks looking out for fleas, ticks, rashes, or sensitive spots. I know how to keep an eye out for over heating or if the pet is becoming nervous or uncomfortable. I've handled the "big boys" and the "routy teens." I've cleaned more "poo-splossions" than I can count, and nothing phases me anymore. I am well organized and am a great communicator. I will always let parents know of injuries, off behavior, or if you just want to know your baby's having a great time. Or if you need those goofy lip flapping/ ears flopping photos, you only need ask! I also spent about 4 years off and on helping my step-mother with her own pet-sitting business when I was younger. Knowing all the regulars and what each pet is most comfortable with in their home. How to manage your walks when they want to drag you down a hill and how not to trip over many leashes. I found it to be a very joyful experience back then and knew I would love it just as much now. I would love the opportunity to share my love and affection with your fur family. To provide parents with a little extra help and peace of mind that your pets are with someone you can trust. I will always treat your pets and your home with the utmost respect and give your fur family a fun filled day! I have a very open schedule, occasionally having to take my son to school and do pick ups. The majority of my day is free for you to fill up. Saturdays are always open for me as well with just the occasional family trip once or twice a year. While I am welcome in your home I guarantee respect and courtesy for both your loved ones and your personal space/items. I will follow any and all guidelines placed for me, as well as, follow any intrusions given.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 16. My first experience was with my neighbor who was a nurse who worked a lot. She would have me come over and walk her dog multiples times a week. Some nights I would spend the night to help take care of her dog too. I loved it so much I started offering services to other people. I care for each one of them as if they were my own with lots of love. I also owned a few dogs who are very spoiled. Currently I have an Australian Shepherd and a super friendly Rottweiler who are my fur babies. I know how busy life can get with work travel etc. so I’m willing to help others! I currently only work Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights at my other job so I’m pretty open during the week. My schedule other than those nights are flexible. If pets are to come to my house and sleep over. I do have two loving dogs who would love a friend to play. They have a big fenced yard with lots of room run around. I also help with crate training if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with animals. I found a stray cat when I was 11 and took care of her kitties. I try to always have a can of pet food in my car. I’m on summer break right now and have a completely free schedule, so I think pet care fits well into that routine. I’m born and raised in AZ, my family is here as well, so I think the location suits me well too. I am confident I can provide a safe, trustworthy, and importantly, comfortable environment for your pet. I think I’m well versed in reading cat and animal emotions, knowing when to go ahead or back off.

About: I've been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. For the past four years, I’ve had the joy of providing trusted pet care for lots of families, many of whom continue to rely on me time and time again. My daily life revolves around feeding, playtime, training, and plenty of belly rubs! I have hands-on experience with all life stages, from wiggly puppies to wise seniors needing medication and extra TLC. I’ve also cared for pregnant dogs, newborn litters, and pets with special needs. Whether your dog loves adventure, a structured routine, or extra snuggles, I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and right at home. I have multiple dogs of my own, so my day naturally revolves around feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and exercise. When caring for a boarding dog, I make sure to integrate them into my routine in a way that suits their comfort level, whether that means structured social time with my dogs or providing a quiet, separate space for those who prefer it. I also work a part-time job, but when I am not working, I structure my day around the needs of the dogs in my care. Whether that’s sticking to their usual schedule, providing extra walks, play sessions, or ensuring they have a calm and relaxing environment, I do my best to make their stay feel like home. I make efforts to communicate with pet parents to ensure their dog's routine is followed as closely as possible. Safety, Trust & Environment At our home-based dog sitting service, we prioritize the comfort and security of every pet in our care. All foods and treats are stored in sealed, pet-proof containers and kept well out of reach to prevent any unauthorized snacking or potential allergic reactions. Each dog is provided with their own spacious, comfortable room for resting, sleeping, or whenever they need a quiet personal space. These rooms serve as safe retreats where dogs can decompress and feel secure. Our property features a fully fenced backyard where pets can enjoy fresh air and exercise in a secure environment. We have a dedicated dog room specifically for boarding dogs, which is kept separate from my personal dogs to ensure everyone's comfort and safety. Fresh, clean water is available at all times throughout our house. The boarding area is equipped with comfortable dog beds and plenty of doggie toys to keep our guests entertained and content. We carefully manage group dynamics and are prepared for all personalities. If two dogs don't seem compatible, they can be safely and comfortably separated while still enjoying their stay. Please note that we currently do not offer boarding services for cats - our house is designed specifically for canine guests. Our environment is designed to feel like a vacation for your furry family member, with safety measures thoughtfully integrated into every aspect of our care routine.

About: I've taken care of puppies, dogs, cat's, rabbits, tortoise's and bearded dragons. Love to walk dog's as long as weather is permitted 85f. Is the highest I will walk your dog as their health is important to me. I'm currently a stay-at-home doggie mom! I have a very open schedule, as this is my favorite job! Lexy has grown up with dogs, loving them as a baby and growing to love and care for them and other pets as an adult. As a baby she grew up with a Maltese-Zorba-who loved her and was her best friend inside the home and a black lab-Thief -who she learned to swim with and was her buddy in the swimming pool. Over the years as she grew up animals were always an important part of her life and she adopted or found homes for various cats and dogs and even a wounded duck. Later, while in college, she adopted a sitsu-poodle mix puppy-"Lil Bear" -a tiny fellow who she raised like a child-taking him to college classes with her in a pocket of her back-pack when he was a baby. Lil-Bear had been taken from his mom too soon-and the vet said he would likely not make it unless hand-bottle fed his milk and cared for delicately. Lexy took that on and Lil Bear is a great, healthy (and very smart) companion today. He has now grown to adulthood--a college grad-but he still goes nuts when he sees his "mom" come into the house. Lexy has been a caring and responsible pet owner all her life exhibiting great respect and love for all animals, starting as young child and growing to adulthood. She would be an excellent caretaker and companion for any pet. Lee Kay

I build my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to make sure they get consistent, on-time attention. whether that’s for walks, feedings, playtime, or just some comforting company. It fits into my life easily because I value the responsibility, and I love spending my time doing something that makes animals feel happy, safe, and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible from feeding schedules and potty breaks to playtime and quiet time. I take time to learn each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe and comfortable in their own space. I’m respectful of your home, clean up after the pet, and make sure everything is just how you left it. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home. I make sure the environment is safe, calm, and welcoming with plenty of space for rest, play, and snuggles. I treat every pet like family and make their comfort and well-being my top priority.

I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! . I always check fence gates before letting a dog outside. I also walk through the area that the dog will stay in and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crates set up are secure.

We have an older dog who needs medicine twice a day and occasionally has seizures. It can be hard to find a pet sitter willing to take care of him due to his conditions and it was a relief to have Megan in place at our house while we are gone. We know our old boy is taken care of and it allows us to enjoy our short trips away.

Emily R watched my 3 year old Border Collie & GSP mix, while I was on a dinner date, warning her my doggo needs lots of exercise and activity. To my surprise she was sleeping when I got home with all the enrichment she got with Emily. The best dog caregiver and so easy to communicate with! 10/10 STARS
