About: I had dogs growing up as a kid - 2 Dachshunds and 5 Chihauhaus! I recently moved to the Princeton area from Queens with our family’s black cat Bella. I am a semi-retired family man with time to help out others in need of pet care such as drop-in visits to feed, nurture, exercise and clean-up after your pets. I love animals and so does my kid. I set my own work schedule so I am available all days and times to help with pet care for in the Princeton/WWP vicinity. Please let me know what your pet needs are . I enjoying spending time with cats and dogs and they always like me too. Never had a problem with any kind of animal. I would spend time at your place making sure your pets feel comfortable and get nourishment and nurturing.

“Matthew was everything you could want in a dog walker! He was always on time, communicative, sent great pictures, and my dog loved him! You could tell from the photos what a great time they were having and he was very attentive during the meet and greet. They even ran into dogs he knew from walking when they were around the neighborhood. I will definitely book again and highly recommend!”

“Kim is extremely reliable, and always a bright spot in Freddie’s day! She accommodated him when he wanted to walk farther, shortened up the distance when he wasn’t so eager to walk, and even would carry him around, knowing that was what he wanted. I highly recommend Kim!”

About: Hi there! I’m Kira/Kiwi🥝(they/she) :)) Over my 14+ years of pet care experience, I’ve cared for a wide variety of pets, including dogs of all ages (seniors included!) and sizes (biggest was 125lbs; prefer a 100lb max limit plz :)). Caring for gentle giants, puppies, and dogs that get a bad rap is where I feel most comfortable🥰 I trained all my dogs and took care of them from age 8 onwards, and have cared for many of my friends' dogs as well. I grew up with a Lab/German Shepherd rescue and raised a Lab/Pit/Pointer rescue pup, and for a brief time, a grown Rottie when I was a baby. I also have experiences with dog bathing and routine grooming/trimming; my regulars were Goldens and Labs (big puppies to arthritic seniors), small puppies (I got lots of pug puppies!), our sweet and vocal Huskies, many anxious pups, and a majority of my lovely furry clients were Pitties and bully breeds of all ages. I also have plenty of experience with anxious dogs and cats of all ages; I’m very patient and I let Them set the pace! I’m quick on my feet, a fast learner, and I will care for your furry children as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog(s)! Please feel free to reach out with any inquiries or questions! Let’s set up a meet-and-greet to see if we’re a good fit :)) I currently work part-time in pet care in my professional life, while I save up to continue my education. I pet sit in my free time :)) Safety and trust are the most important aspects to pet care, besides our unconditional love for our sweet animals! Your house, your rules. All doors closed? You got it. Cat can come in and out? No problem! Only walk with a specific harness and leash? I got you! Ensuring your peace of mind and your pet’s safety is my top priority, just let me know your boundaries and care preferences!

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life from kitten and puppies to the elderly, and I am experienced with special needs pets. I am happy to follow your schedule or make one of my own, and I will stick to it. I create a positive environment where I give the pets extra attention and I like to take them out when appropriate. I am a student at Berklee College of Music who is missing his own pets and wants spend time with yours. I am fairly flexible throughout the week and have weekends free. I will keep your pets safe and cared for. If I am sitting at your house, it will remain clean and your pet will remain comfortable. If we are out for a stroll, your pet will be under my devoted attention and I will make sure he/she is safe.

About: I've crate-trained my Hungarian Vizsla puppy, and I live with 3 adult dogs so I'm used to many personalities. I was also asked by my neighbor to care for her Bichon Frise when she went on trips. I am currently searching for a job so I have ample time to care for pet-sit, exercise, and spend time with them. I also have a big SUV so I can transport many dogs to a dog park or a walking path away from the house. I take my dogs out about 4 times a day because I'm living in an apartment at the moment. I usually take them for long walks, but I'm very cognizant of the weather and the heat of the ground on their pads. If we were going on a long walk I'd either have to do it in the early morning or night because it's just so hot in the summer.

About: I have been on Rover since 2022. Our family always wanted to have a dog but never had the luxury. Walking dog makes us feel refreshed and close to nature. We only care for dogs from one household at a time and treat him/her as our own. We typically provide four walks including morning, noon, dinner time and bedtime. House trained dog only. Puppy and elderly are welcome. My schedule is flexible. I have a backyard that is 90% fenced to play in. I am home most of the time. My kids, now teens, love dogs and play with the furry friend whenever they are around.

“Astrid did a phenomenal job walking my dog for several days while I was in town for work. She walked her past the half hour I had booked the walk for, covered a lot of distance to make sure she got plenty of exercise, and even stayed to pet her for a several minutes after the walk. There are a lot of dog walkers on Rover who don't even walk your dog for the full half hour that you book the walk for, and I have never encountered one that went above and beyond like Astrid. So I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker.”

Melanie R.

“Melanie is a great walker and very communicative!”

Cameron W.
“Cameron loves animals. Like most sane people he prefers them to most people. Saved every penny anyone ever gave him (for years) to come up with money for a dog. He has grown up with a few dogs (and a cat as well). Unlike many children he was super helpful throughout his dog's entire lives. Not simply for the "puppy-moon" phase. He is very bright, graduated Georgetown with a high GPA and very responsible. You will be very pleased with his performance.”

Sarah H.
“Sarah loves pets and takes good care of them with love. She’s also punctuate, reliable and responsible on whatever tasks she’s given to do. She spent time with a few different breeds of dogs. She’s detail oriented and pays attention to small things. I feel very comfortable to have her take care of any pets.”
